I assure you what Jan has stated about the store are completely untrue. Firstly, they have been without a cash register for a month, not 4 months. They just went through a remodel and the store looks fantastic! It's clean, no clutter. Everything is easily accessible and well stocked. These girls work hard and it's sad that someone has to be a bad apple just because they are having an attitude about the fact they haven't been able to accept cash at the store. It's not the employees fault the company hasn't sent someone to fix it. Keep up the great work, guys! The best looking Dollar General in the state!

The store manager Diane is a jackass. I called then made a trip to the store to use Western Union. I had all the information I needed and she insisted I needed the physical paperwork from another country to collect money.Just ridiculous! Wester Union does not work this way!I drove to St J and Rite Aid processed the Western Union information.Thanks for being so lazy and wasting my time.Here is her info she did not even care..

The store is A mess for one thing and sometimes the staff are ok, I've had one nice cashier but for the most part they are bloody rude, and alot of times out in their car smoking. Glad to have it there but ver your staff better. Jeeze!

They always have a variety of things including new things, they always have what I need. Their prices are extremely reasonable, and the store's employees are kind and helpful. The all-around service is and store is kept clean and organized.

Prices are all over the place- on some things it's cheap, others it's outrageous. The store is unorganized and cluttered, but well stocked. The staff is mostly apathetic, unenthused, but responsive to requests for help and effective. All in all this place is more PLAIN than a glass of water on an off-white table under florescent lighting in a windowless room.

The store alone is useful and carries what most people in the area need on a regular basis. However, the employee named Hanna is rude discriminative,sarcastic to customers, and socialably not acceptable in this town.Hanna is causing hardship for this store,loss of customers and perhaps initiating the thought of a petition to the store and town if appropriate action is not taken to apologize to the community to include a few disabled families and individuals that she seems to have issue and attitude with.This not being a first complaint against Hanna to management,it needs to be the last.Make it known we will not tolerate people and business associates being rude or disrespectful in any manner, a petition can close the doors.There is population apx 1000 in Island Pond, we really don't need a dollar general with rude employees in the town, specifically this employee Hanna.

This store is absolutely disgusting. I have never seen such a gross, unorganized store in my life. Most of the merchandise is on the floor. Items that are on the shelves are out of place. It's as though no one cares about the place whatsoever. Very sad in a town so full of potential.
