We had to say goodbye to our 15 yr old fur baby yesterday. LVVS was so awesome. They made time for us and really made a terrible day a little easier. Thank you to the front desk staff, Dr Klebs and the assistant who helped. I can’t remember her name but she has a lip ring. I just want to let you know your kindness was everything to us.

We were so grateful you could see Gracie on such short notice! And everyone was so kind, and Valerie was really wonderful with Gracie (who's shy). Also I have to say, that soothing music you've got on in the exam rooms is awesome. Gracie's never seemed to feel one way or another about music, but I could've sworn it calmed her down! We're pretty far away (out here in the NEK), but you guys are who we'll call for emergencies in the future. Wish we lived closer!

I brought my dog Cleo in on a Sunday at 11:30 AM to be greeted by professional knowledgeable And experienced veterinary professionals. I am from canada so Didn’t have a local veterinarian and it was an emergency on a Sunday. Very thorough examination, correct diagnosis And treatment. So glad to have found you and will pass on your contact to anyone I know coming to Vermont with their pets.

Brandy, after my wife, is my best friend and companion, she is always right by my side. When she started feeling ill, struggling to breath I called several veterinarians, one of which put me on a waiting list and another giving me an appointment 2 weeks out. Brandy was progressively getting worse, and I was very concerned about her, so I called the veterinary back which I had an appointment with to see if they could get her in sooner. At the time they didn't have an opening and referred me to Lamoille Valley Veterinary Services, and I am so thankful that they did! As soon as I called LVVS they immediately got Brandy in for an examination and diagnosed her, prescribed her some medications, and within a day and a half she was already showing improvement! Several days later now she is back to her jovial, playful little self and I am ecstatic. Thank you LVVS!

My dog got into something terrible and was so sick that she needed emergency care. LVVS saw her on a Sunday (in a snow storm) and got her back on the mend. PLUS followed up to make sure she was improving. Great service

One of the few veterinary practices in the entire state which is open 7 days a week. A friendly, awesomely knowlegable staff. I have 2 high needs dogs, one a senior who is getting frail and the other, a Great Pyrennees with a long list of medical needs and surgeries from abuse he suffered before he was rescued. All the staff, from vets, vet techs, and office staff are caring and welcomming. I am grateful that we have such a wonderful veterinary practice when so many others are cutting hours or closing.

This office was beyond amazing when we needed care for our beloved golden retriever, Lucy. All other offices turned us away, as they are simply very busy. LVVS was able to give me an appointment a couple days after I called. When Lucy was seen, the veterinarian called me and explained the seriousness of the situation. I was given clear information, I asked as many questions as I wanted and I didn't feel at all rushed on the call. We agreed to start with some meds and a referral to a specialist. My husband and I left the next day for a planned trip and Lucy stayed home with two of our grown kids. Lucy then quickly declined. I called LVVS again and explained what was happening. They asked to see Lucy to get a better idea of what was happening. Lucy was brought in and examined again, with some more tests. I was called and again, the conversation was thorough and compassionate. We came to the conclusion that it would best for Lucy to let her go with any more pain. My kids wanted to be with her and the office was caring, mindful of COVID, and incredibly compassionate. This is never an easy time for a family. LVVS made it a little easier for us. We will forever be grateful for the care Lucy received.

My dog had an aural hematoma, and I was concerned about leaving it to long. Sequist Animal Hospital (our usual veterinarian) was booked solid, but LVVS got us in and did the surgery promptly. The staff was professional and did a great job. All in all, I was very impressed.

It's a breath of fresh air working with LVVS.There is something to said for a business and people NOT interested in a sale but actually the care of your family member with 4 legs.I was struggling and spending a lot of money at a Jericho vet as Amara wasn't eating, groaning, stumbling around, and not her usual troublemaker. For over a year the care was all treated as lyme disease and things like that which wasn't the case.Within 2 visits at LVVS we determined my old girl has arthritis and with some strategic vitamins and supplements is doing much better.Also the staff is considerate, caring, listens and pays attention to detail, and take the time to explain health problems and care plans in a way I can understand.You can better believe my recent move to LVVS is a permanent oneGreat Job guys. I am sincerely thankful.

They always take the animals in who are in need the most, for same day appointments. They work so hard to keep my dog healthy and happy, especially, while she is visiting for an appointment and is feeling nervous. When they felt my dog needed a better diagnosis, of an injury, and they didn’t think they’d be able to get her exactly what she needed; they didn’t hesitate to give us a referral to keep her healthy, happy and pain free!! I don’t know where else I would go. They are always supportive, even in difficult moments of being a dog mom. Highly recommend!!!

We have been to a few different vets in the area so we have a bit of experience to pull from. From compassionate end of life care to diagnosing issues with our pets, to wellness care, all of the vets and techs have been knowledgeable and caring with our animals. I especially appreciate Autumn for her ability to help keep our dog calmed and be able to trim his nails and administer meds. She is familiar with our pets and recognizes differences (weight loss/gain etc) in them when we visit.

Since 2015, LVVS has provided my dogs with terrific veterinary services, whether for wellness, reproduction or emergency needs. I marvel at how cool they are under pressure and have personally witnessed their kindness & sincere interest in some of the most challenging situations, even in the middle of the night. Their on site lab offers LH and progesterone testing, as well as extensive pre-anesthesia blood panels. The founding sisters remain active in the practice and are committed to being independent & women-owned, while so many other veterinary operations have sold out. There are at least three veterinary surgeons on staff. Both the veterinarians and the vet techs consistently demonstrate the highest quality of care & service for my animals. While so many other practices struggle with technology, the staff in the front office utilize texting, email and telephone to ensure good communication and timely support. Their quality of service and care goes beyond what you'd expect from such a busy practice. But it is because of the quality of service and expertise that they ARE so busy. I cannot recommend LVVS more highly.

We had just moved back to the area and my dog Scooter’s first experience with them was to be there two full days in a row to finish his heartworm treatment. They helped manage his anxiety, they were loving and sweet to him, they explained his treatment thoroughly to me, and he did very well with the treatment. The charges were reasonable for the procedure and length of time that he spent there.I appreciated that they were taking Covid precautions to make it safe to go in to pick him up and drop him off during a time that Covid is really spiking in our area, without being overly restrictive but just right. I’m really grateful for everybody at LVVS for being there for us.Now we are planning to go for a few victory visits that are short and sweet (and no charge I might add) to help Scooter get over his anxiety about always having to go for such a long day. We’re just gonna go visit, get some love, hang out for a few minutes and head out again a bunch of times, so he’s happy to see everybody, knows it’s all ok there, because after all, most vet visits are short and nothing to be worried about. I really appreciate that they are making it work for him so well.

I have very much appreciated working with Dr. Paula and the whole team at LVVS. They are knowledgeable, kind, and understanding and clearly care deeply for their animal patients. They have been very available to quickly get me in for appointments when needed, answer questions, explain options, and respect the decisions I make about the path of care for my dog as we worked through figuring how to treat a tumor she had. I decided to treat with herbal and alternative treatments first, which improved things for a while. After about 6 months, the growth progressed and I decided to have the surgery done. They provided excellent care and were in very good communication with me throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Dr. Paula and her team to others.

I have a 13 week old Golden Retriever who needed emergent care on a Sunday afternoon. When I called, the vet tech immediately offered to page the on call veterinarian. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door and taken right in to the room. Our puppy was thoroughly examined and treatment options were offered. We were not pressured in to anything and the veterinarian gave us her honest opinion. This is a great place and highly recommended if you are looking for good, affordable care and nice staff.

I appreciate LVVS and their care for my animal that falls in line with my philosophy for pet care. They do not push for additional procedures when I do not feel is warranted (this has happened to me in the past and I have relatives who go other places and run into this problem as well). They are friendly in the office and handling COVID procedures very well. All our furry family members are happy and healthy thanks to the co-op of care we hold with LVVS. That's why, when we moved further from the office, we continue to drive the difference rather than switch vets. Additionally, LVVS is far more affordable than many other vets in the area.

Excellent service and very knowledgable veterinarians. They will talk to you and spend time examining your dog, addressing any concerns you may have. I never feel rushed when speaking with the vets. Emergencies are seen right away. If your dog is not feeling well and not an emergency, they find time to see them as well. Staff at front desk very nice and helpful. Techs are also very knowledgable and give excellent service as well. Would highly recommending using them for your pets.

I’ve had some okay experiences here but they are extremely inconsistent with their service. Some of the front desk/phone reception folks are unfriendly and unhelpful. My dog was seen here for an ear infection and the treatment they gave me made it worse and when I called to get him seen again they said it would have to be an ER visit or I’d have to wait weeks to be seen. I brought him to a different vet and the ear infection had spread to both ears and his eye. LVVS does not consistently take concerns of pet parents seriously and that really upsets me.
