Both Laura and Chelsea are great stylists. I have been going to them for years. You can tell they truly care about their clients. I'm so happy every time I leave the salon. They always try to squeeze me in if they have a spot since they are so busy. I highly recommend this salon if you are looking for a new place to go

Undoubtedly the best haircuts I've had in years. And affordable for me! This is someplace you can go if you want a usual cut or something different, like, punk, queer-esque, undershave...My partner and I have both seen Laura (Lauren?) and have nothing but positive things to say about the person and the cuts. Personable, open, friendly, affordable, doesn't claim to understand what you want and then do something completely different, and is someone capable of asking for an expert opinion on style. I can't say how long I've looked for someone who can understand what kind of look I'm going for, deal with my curly hair, and let me know if I'm barking up the wrong tree style-wise. Just... phenomenal.

The ladies are always so kind and funny, and they always do an amazing job with my hair!! I first went there with years worth of hard water buildup, and came out with the smoothest and softest my hair ever was. My head felt lighter! Every time I go my hair feels as soft as velvet, I run my hand through and there's no stopping and it always astounds me. I'd recommend their business to anyone and everyone!!

Laura is a fantastic hair stylist. I won't let anybody else touch my hair. She listens attentively to what you want, offers expert advice on how to make it work and is very knowledgeable about her craft.I've tortured my hair to the ends and back and every time she touches it, it's healthy and happy again!Chelsea is very nice, though she's never done my hair, she's always a pleasure to be around and also gives great advice!

First, I would like to respond to the above patron who chose to walk out of the salon because the stylist was cutting into her time and attending to her previous client. This happens with doctors, lawyers, and tables at restaurants. Stylists who care, want to do the best for their client, and sometimes this takes longer than normal. Having now read your review I am confident communication will be better in the future.I know my needs are listened to and met with respect.The stylist knows my past history, cuts my hair the way I want it to be cut but is creative and willing to takes chances if offered the opportunity. There is never a big sell on "product", but I love the product used. In the past I had my hair cut and colored at the best salons in Burlington. The prices were outrageous. The Hinesburg Hair Salon is reasonably priced. I will continue to go there even if I may have to wait once in a while as a previous client is tended to. Fortunately for me, I have never had to wait.

The original appointment I had was bumped due to a family emergency of my scheduled hair dresser, but instead of canceling on me (a totally new client to the area) they worked it out and were able to get me in for a full color and cut, which I desperately needed prior to a big family event I had the next weekend.They came through for me in a pinch, and they did an excellent job on my previously treated hair, and they showed awesome camaraderie that I really appreciated. Will go again for sure!

I always get my hair done by Laurena and always leave with a smile on my face. The hair cuts in the past have been amazing and everything I had asked for. Today I colored my hair for the first time. I had an appointment on Friday 8/19 for 5pm. I arrived about 4:58 pm and was told "I will be right with you". There was a customer in the chair and the hair dresser was cutting her wet hair. Then she was blow drying her hair. She was finished with the blow dry and the customer asked if she could get her hair curled with a curling iron. I was getting upset as it was now 15 minutes into my appointment time.I got up and walked out.I was a NEW CUSTOMER and I felt as if I was not important enough for your establishment to keep a timely appointment. I felt maybe this is a pattern and If I were to get any other appointments in the future I would be kept waiting and not important as a customer.I will not be returning and if someone should ask me what I thin of your establishment I will tell them to go elsewhere.

Always friendly and accommodating here. Nice to have a local option for the kiddos, too. Generally best to call ahead for an appointment, as wait times can be long otherwise. They have coffee, water, and a restroom if you do need to wait for a bit. Recommended!
