I am very pleased with the treatment we received from the staff at the Animal hospital of Hinesburg. Mostly we are very impressed with Dr. Garrett Levin. He took the time to help us understand what was the best treatment of our girl, Chloe. The surgery was a huge success. She is on her way to getting back to her old self.

I have been going to AHH for over a decade and I plan to continue going for as long as I have pets. The staff are very warm and accommodating; especially when you have pets with special needs. They also respond promptly whenever I reach out for help. The veterinarians and vet techs are very skilled, compassionate and give options whenever possible. I always feel well informed and supported in my decisions. I love the AHH and feel like it's a fantastic place for me to get my pets the medical care they need!

The best vet experience we’ve had with all of our dogs. From reception to the techs to the vets, everyone is kind, helpful and always accommodating. They were beyond sensitive when we had to say goodbye to our senior girl & made sure our dog who needed multiple surgeries was well taken care of. Would recommend them a million times over.

Hinesburg Vet is the best place to go. We have brought all of our animals here for over a decade. The staff is warm and welcoming, the doctors are all knowledgeable and informative. It’s always clean and a safe space for all animals no matter the size. I always appreciate how fast they have been to respond to any of our questions or emergencies. Whether it was my dogs, having to get porcupine quills, taken out of their face, or getting treatment for cancer, or one of my dogs, having to get one of his eyes removed due to cancer, They have always done their best and showed their compassion. We have been fortunate enough to have two of our dogs. Cross the rainbow bridge at Hinesburg Vet where they have a beautiful set up outside for spring and summertime where dogs and cats can be with their family and a private area outside enjoying the environment before they go peacefully. After bringing our beloved, pets to Hinesburg Vet for cremations, they always include a sweet paw, print memorial and a thoughtful card. They always go above and beyond, and we will be forever. Grateful for all of their hard work and dedication. My senior kitty and I were treated with respect and compassion, even though we hadn’t visited in a number of years. (Pandemic driven decision) Dr. Elliott has been our vet for years, she was our mobil vet at one point, and is the best that there is. She understood the direction we wanted to go in and supported it completely. Hinesburg Animal Hospital is a warm, clean, efficient place to visit with your pet.

I would not go anywhere else! My pets have been going to the Animal Hospital of Hinesburg for almost 15 years now. The vets (especially Dr. Armstrong) demonstrate such a love for the animals and such respect for me as a dog mom. They are good about asking before performing any additional services, and are great about getting back to me if I have a question. They've got longer hours during the week so I can get in there without losing time at work. The only thing missing there is Maria (retired). I truly trust them with Boomer's life.

Wang has been treated, since I got her from the Chittenden humane society, by either veterinarians Armstrong or Palac for the same sporadic cough. Both showed that they were carrying and both followed the same treatment plan, injection of Convenia, which relieved Wang’s coughing. I like both Vets. Their treatment plan works. If you are looking for a veterinarian you should give them a try.

This is my second appointment with the Animal Hospital of Hinesburg with one visit a well visit and the second , our Australian Shepherd was sick with a cold or virus.Since our dog had a cough and she was lethargic, the staff opted for her to be quarantined.I must say , l was very impressed both with Dr. Elliot and her vet tech.Dr. Elliot was compassionate, thorough in her questions about our dog’s health and background causes leading to her sickness.In both visits, there was the utmost care and concern for our puppy. The staff is thorough and professional . You feel like your beloved pet is in good hands here at the Animal Hospital of Hinesburg.Feel free to ask questions, this staff knows their stuff !

Our first visit to Animal Hospital of Hinesburg was with Dr. Kara Palek. It was thorough, informative and compassionate. Our bulldog is a two-year-old, new to us, with many issues. Dr. Palek devoted 90 minutes to go over each concern, giving appropriate recommendations. I highly recommend her brilliant care, specifically, and Animal Hospital of Hinesburg in general for their quick response time and follow-through.

I highly recommend this vet office the past couple of weeks they have been caring for my dog Marley he had tplo surgery . Dr.levin did a amazing job and the staff is awesome they answer all questions you may have and very respectful . Marley is healing up nicely thanks to dr levin and the entire team

I rarely ever leave reviews but my experiences here have left me feeling like I should warn others. Listen, they are a well equipped hospital with some sweet people and vets but I’ve had some truly awful experiences with numerous people there that leave me wondering if my dog was really in good hands. There is this blunt and honestly quite uncaring energy that some staff members give. I’ve been hung up on when I’ve asked for test results that I knew were supposed to be in after I insisted that a response of “someone will call you eventually, could be today, could be end of this week” was not something I felt ok with knowing the results were in and that my dog was experiencing alarming kidney failure. There are more stories I’ve had here with this similar kind of treatment, like I was a nuisance and my dog was nothing but another number in their long list of numbers.I do think they offer decent care and have facilities that are hard to beat but I’m planning on looking for another vet after now feeling like I cannot fully trust that they actually care about my dog’s health over their business ($$$). Oh and they are ridiculously expensive!! Nothing like spending $350 at the vet and being made feel like you’re being rushed along and a nuisance if you have any concerns or questions!I hope they figure out a better system to offer more of a compassionate environment there but that has not been my experience with many of the staff there (there are some vets and front desk folks who are wonderful but you’re rolling the dice when you go there).

Over the past 20 years, we've moved our residence several times - each time, further away from Animal Hospital of Hinesburg. And, with those moves we also tried other veterinarians who were closer to our new homes. Each time, we ultimately returned to AHH because no once can compare with the quality of care we (and our pets) receive there. Consistently warm, friendly, thorough and attentive. They remain our gold standard for veterinary care.

Amazing staff and service, Iv only personally interacted with Mr. Armstrong. Amazing experience with him versus previous vet clinic, listens to your needs and concerns. Checks in. Couldn’t ask for a better Vet, and I’m sure the others are great too! When emailing and talking with the staff there, it’s very professional and very helpful. They understand your needs and do there best to get you where you want to go!

Animal Hospital of Hinesburg neutered and gastropexied our great dane, Astro. They did great! He is a very energetic puppy, and they were so responsive to all our concerns about his lack of sedation and how he wouldn't stop moving. They are wonderful, and I can't recommend them enough!!

Tim & I started bringing our pets to Animal Hospital of Hinesburg almost thirty years ago, "wow has it been that long?!" It is time for us to move closer to our Grandchildren so we end by saying a huge Thank You to Dr. Rich Armstrong, Ellie, Jen, Ben and all of the amazing staff members who made our trips, visits, and "goodbyes" so warm, caring and always professional in every way. The Hinesburg animal hospital is such a good place to bring your pet if you want to make sure that not only are they intentive and caring and compassionate towards your pets needs. They also consider the owners well being as well.Their workspace is clean and sanitized which I really hold to my standards as wonderful.When I asked them about price quoting and how things are broken down to what I'm buying in the services that are rendered. The animal hospital is really good at being up front. I've had in the past veterinarian places that don't tell you the price until it's all said and done. But they give a price quote from the minimum to the maximum of what to expect regarding of the care and well-being animal.They are very professional and great customer service. I personally drive an hour out of my way to bring my dogs to this facility. So I definitely recommend this to friends and family in the community to go to this animal hospital.

We love Animal Hospital of Hinesburg. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The vet techs are patient, confident and love Bennie. Dr Armstrong listens to my concerns. He loves Bennie and always treats him kindly. They sit on n the floor to make Bennie feel less anxious and we always leave knowing our questions have been heard, answered and that we have gotten excellent care!5* for them!

When I had my other dog of 11 years ,Lovey,the vet was wonderful. The new vet that has been seeing my new dog Daisy and my kitten Honey is not what I would call friendly or outgoing. My grandson was asking questions and she was very short with him. I drive all the way from St Albans to Hinesburg. Think I might be looking for a new vet.

I can't praise Dr, Armstrong and this practice enough! I have one dog that loves going to the vet and one that needs extra time to trust and relax enough to be examined. Dr. Armstrong sees them both together and always takes the extra time needed to make Scooter comfortable. The rest of the staff are extremely welcoming, responsive to my and my pets needs, and very knowlegable and professional as well.

We have two dogs and have been happy with everyone we've seen and interacted with. We love the app for reminders and tracking meds, and annual visits. Front desk is friendly and non judgmental when asking about billing. Everyone treats our dogs really well.

I brought my 17+ year old cat in for a yearly exam.Dr Foster is very caring and thorough and her hands felt the arthritis that Reuben has in his hips that we didn't really know about. They also took blood and urine from him. Hopefully he'll feel a bit better now!

Amazing veterinary clinic. The new veterinarians are so knowledgeable and kind. Great at explaining all avenues of care.Edit: We have been working with AHH for almost year trying to manage our dogs diabetes. Dr. Palac is so amazing! All the staff are great.
