Fantastic experience all around. I was visiting from NY and the doctor, vet techs and staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. My dog’s dew claw broke while she was running and they fixed her up. I would recommend to anyone in the Hardwick / Greensboro area and beyond. I’m so happy to know we have a place to go every august if there’s a veterinary emergency. Thank you Hardwick Veterinary Clinic and team!!!

Dr. Andrea and her team are incredibly caring and communicative. My dog and I were new to the area when he was attacked by a neighbors dog, the team at Hardwick Veterinary Clinic helped me navigate his recovery. Dr. Andrea is wonderful and patient answering concerns and helps to make the best decision for you and your pet. Pricing is fair, scheduling is easy. Highly recommend!

Andrea and her team have been wonderful with me and my pups. Scheduling with them has been a breeze and if I need anything I can email and they’ll respond immediately! One of my dogs has been having some ongoing health issues and Andrea and her team have been wonderful at helping me navigate everything. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Gilbert and her staff. Andrea listens to my concerns and answers my questions. They are quick to get my pet in to the office when I call. Dr. Gilbert treats me and my pets with respect and I don't feel like she tries to sell anything to make an extra dollar. She gives me all of the options and let's me decide what is best for us without making me feel pressured to go the most expensive route. I appreciate her honesty and patience with both me and my pets. Her staff is also very caring, calm, knowledgeable and friendly.

Andrea and her techs are fantastic. Visiting the vets is always a bit stressful for our pets, but going to the Hardwick Veterinary Clinic is the best experience I've had anywhere. They are communicative, efficient and direct, they are kind and sweet with our animals, and they provide excellent and sensible care. Grateful to have Andrea and her team in town.

I've been a loyal client of the Hardwick Veterinary Clinic for over ten years and I could not be happier with the level of service I receive and the level of care and attention given to my dogs. Dr. Gilbert and her staff are so dedicated and caring and work hard to make sure that your animal is safe and comfortable and work very hard to provide multiple treatment options, answers to questions and are willing to do whatever they can to make every experience a positive one. Over the years I have had many "special needs" pups including a rescue that was not overly trusting and defensive upon first coming home to us. Dr. Gilbert and staff took the time to make her feel safe, and earned her trust- not an easy thing to do with the type of rescue we are dealing with. I have such respect for everyone at this clinic and am incredibly grateful that I have such a loving and trusting environment to help manage the health and wellbeing of my dogs.

Dr.Andrea and her team are doing a great job. I always feel in good hands when one of my companions has to have medical care. In times of covid, the office is "safe". Masks are worn/required and a safe distance is maintained. Sadly that also means you won't be able to accompany your pet into the treatment room but no worries there. Making the pet comfortable and having a speedy but thorough procedure is a great way to assure that a patient will not dread the next time we roll up to the doc. I am also very grateful to have a vet who has prices I can afford. Thank you so much.

I have had very good experiences coming to this practice. I have had to have a beloved cat and dog euthanized and Dr. Gilbert and her staff were compassionate yet professional. Dr.Gilbert's genuine emotion actually made those unthinkable experiences more endurable. On a lighter note, I am bringing our new dog and have have felt supported as I make decisions about what to do about a lameness issue and a recent health scare. I appreciate the thorough discussion of my options including respect to the costs involved. Denise, the vet tech, is also genuinely helpful, kind and skillful.

This place is great. Always feel like my dog is well taken care of and I dont feel like they push for unnecessary treatments. Which in today's world is uncommon. They give helpful suggestions and truly listen to what you have to say about your pet. No medical treatment is cheap however I feel like their prices are fair which is a huge bonus.

Unfortunately I had a very unpleasant experience at this clinic. I was treated with disrespect the minute I started conversing with the vet. She made me feel like I was not a responsible pet owner. I had rescued what I thought was a stray cat and was taking her to the vet and prepared to pay $100 for the visit. While I was waiting, I was questioned by the vet about how I found the cat and if I owned any other animals. I explained that I had an indoor cat and then I was questioned by her about my indoor cat and where I took him to the vet and how often. I explained that he had his shots as a kitten and had been very healthy and happy and has not needed any additional visits. The vet proceeded to tell me that I really need to take him to see a vet more regularly because she has seen cases with older cats resulting in a crisis that could have been prevented with more regular visits. I proceeded to say that I will always care for my cat and take him to the vet if there is a problem or if he is sick, but I don’t have tons of money to just bring him in for expensive “check ups”. She then probed about how the stray and my indoor cat were getting along. I said that it had taken a couple of days for them to warm up to each other but that they had been getting along really well in the last 2 days, and they were playing and laying together. She doubted that was the case, disagreed with me and said in her experience it took a lot longer for cats to become comfortable with each other! I could not believe my ears. THEN she asked if I had been actively searching for the potential owner of the stray cat and if I had posted an ad online. I admitted that I had not but that I hadn’t come across anyone in the neighborhood actively searching for a lost cat. She continued to lecture me that if the owner wasn’t looking and I wasn’t looking or doing anything then we were both at FAULT. I have never been treated so poorly by trying to do the right thing in my life. The cat ended up having a chip and I traced the owner through contacting the central Vermont humane society. It was a happy reunion and I was glad to have the information about how to make that happen. All I was looking for was to be talked to with respect and to be informed without being treated like a criminal. We housed the poor lost cat for 5 full days and me and my children felt very good about it. I hope this vet can learn more about interpersonal communication and treating pet owners/community members with more respect. Denise, the receptionist was fantastic and very helpful and kind. I will not return to this clinic again based on how I was treated by the vet. Awful!!

I needed a heartworm test for my dog before traveling south. I was told I had to pay for a full exam for 100.00. Not a problem. When I got there the Vet acted like she was afraid of my dog, who has never shown any aggression toward human or animal in his nearly 8 years.Never had the exam, only the blood draw. So, I and my dog were treated very rudely and all I got was a prescription for heartworm prevention. I would definitely not recommend this place if you have a large dog.

Changed the pet meds I used and it made it hard for me i had to go to Morrisville to get Frontline one of the best pet meds still to date for ticks fleas and so on the new .ed Hardwick had lasts 3 months per dose for 50$ I got 3 months of Frontline for under 40$ at tractor supply and I know the med unlike the one they where pitching my question is why get ride of a product that works or if you are going to carry a new med offer the same old as well theirs enough change happening if you want people to stay local like I like to do information them of change maybe I am old fashioned my cats are like my kiddy's with fur I would not switch my kids meds without proper info on the new ones
