Holy smokes this place is GOOD. Coffee was great but the real standout is the treats to go with: I’d highly recommend the “everything bagel croissant” but I suspect everything they serve is likely delicious. Also: we were here for the eclipse and I was so impressed with the friendly and fast service despite the standing-room-only crowd. Worth going out of your way to make this stop.

Came here on eclipse day morning and these lovely employees were churning out coffees at a very rapid rate. I had the ginger latte, which was quite pleasantly gingery without adding a syrup! Their pastries were delicious as well, I had a savory crossaint which was quite enjoyable. The tables are nice to sit at, lots of light coming through the windows.Dietary restrictions: They have multiple alternative milks, including oatmilk.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt moved to. Stopped here, super charming place. Loved the accepting atmosphere and the products they sell. I had an iced chai latte, it was good. But it was the macaron that got me. I’ve always liked macarons, they’re cute and often taste good. But with this macaron (vanilla I believe?), I feel like I finally understand the hype around macarons. It was delicious - crispy on the outside, totally fresh and moist on the inside. The flavors popped without the filling being overly sweet. The sprinkles added a nice variety of texture. For my own health’s sake, it’s a good thing this place is 2 hours from me. But these macarons (and I’d wager their other pastries) are to die for!

Wow. What a great locally owned coffee shop. We were staying at the Stone City Treehouse, and our host recommended this for the best coffee around, and she was right. I got the dark roast and my partner got an oat milk cappuccino + bonus GF. Vegan thumb cookie was so good I went back for a second … because that, my friends, is what vacationing is all about. Excellent friendly (but not fake friendly) service. If you are lucky enough to get a spot, sit a while and enjoy. Disappointed I did not by one of their awesome sweatshirts or mugs.

The hippest place in Hardwick.Fresh baked pastries (all great - with an assortment of gluten free / vegan (a few) options - breakfast croissants, cookies… ), excellent coffee / latte choices, friendly staff … decent prices.As with all great “mom and pop” shops like this - the downside is that there are times when it is crowded.Parking is limited to the street and a couple of downtown parking lots within a block or so.If you want the “local flavor” - this place has a ton of it and is the heart of Hardwick in my opinion.

Both the pastries and the coffee are top notch. It is uncommon to find a place that does everything so well. The attention to detail on drinks from the bar was especially striking. It is wonderful that we can access their delicious treats both here and at their Craftsbury Outdoor Center satellite.

Front Seat Coffee is a local gem! Their food is scrumptious and their drinks are professionally done perfectly every time! If you want to be full all day - egg cheese biscuit breakfast sandwich is just yummy! Love getting their lattes which always look beautiful!

Heart broken!I’ve come here sense y’all have opened. Fell in love with everything the chef has made(Alex I believe his name is). Although my experience the other day has me never coming back, and hoping Alex finds a job where he is treated like his work is amazing. The lady behind the counter was being so incredibly rude and causing a scene with customers in there. I have never seen her in any of my visits, but thanks to her this will be my last.

My husband and I stopped by when we were in town picking up some fence posts a few days ago and were so happy to have found this spot. We were there right as they opened and all the staff was friendly, and the cafe was comfortable and cute inside. All the pastries were beautiful and well made, and I had what I would consider the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had (on a buttery biscuit no less). Coffee was also clean and delicious! If I am ever in the NEK I will make an effort to stop.

I share a donut muffin from this place with my dog about 2x a week these days. It's the perfect place to start your day trip or a long hike. I haven't had a pastry there I didn't love!

Went there today with my brother, it was my first time “going out” anywhere for like 14 months. What a great spot. The coffee was v good the baked item (a croissant) was delicious and extra buttery, and the service was warm and calm and friendly. We sat inside and it’s a quite and well spaced out spot. Another reason to go to Hardwick.

I come to front seat coffee whenever I am in hardwick and it is always wonderful! I got the evergreen matcha today, 10/10 the best matcha I’ve ever had. The pastries are wonderful, the vibes are wonderful, I love you front seat coffee <3
