Stopped for jasper hill cheese. It's nice they don't price gouge. Friendly people. Nice beer selection. Get the garlic parmesean loaf and the cookies and cream cake slice. Crazy delicious.

This place is an oasis in rural Vermont. Grocery store and hardware store in one. And they have great stuff. It's not a big store but they really pack it to the gills with pretty much everything you'd need. And so much of it is locally sourced. They even have a clothing section upstairs. And a deli and a huge wine section. And everyone is very friendly and nice. Enjoy the nooks and crannies and the fact it has been around since 1900.

Amazing selection and value. Nothing like it in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. Such a unique place that has everything anyone could need. I call them the Wal Mart for small businesses — in a good way! Amazing beer selection, along with the hardware supplies and everything else. Hill Farmstead’s latest offerings are always available — bottles and cans. As well as many other local breweries.

We go to Willey's for basically anything we need but we appreciate two sections of the store in particular:- The hardware section is great, it has so much stuff that you will most likely find what you need. People come here who are professionals in their trade but I particularly like how friendly the staff is to somebody like me who doesn't know much about fixing things or doing small projects around the house. The staff members are always available, never condescending, will listen to your explanations with great patience and come with the right solution for you. Sometimes they call their colleagues and the whole hardware department gathers to try to solve your problem!- The clothing section has a variety of brands that are good for the outdoor but that can also be worn in an urban environment. High quality, stylish, and all in the same place. We buy our jackets, pants, shoes, shirts, you name it.We love the sense of history, the connection with the past that you can feel everywhere in the store. The owners are super nice, always happy to chat. It is such an incredible place in so many ways. Sounds corny to say this but a visit to Willey's is good for your soul, given the complicated times that we live in.

Willey's overall is a great store with everything you need. This is just one section of a store that has kitchen supplies, food, clothing, hardware, and gas all in one. I've enjoyed all the clothing and food I've gotten there and the hardware and kitchen sections have helped to complete our house.

Willey's is the real deal general store. If you NEED it they definitely have it. If you merely WANT it they probably have it too. Clothes. Groceries. Hardware. Hunting & fishing gear. Sewing supplies. A great selection of local products including Hill Farmstead beer and Jasper Hill cheese. All high quality merchandise with a great staff to match.And as a friend of mine added - If you need something built 20 years ago they probably have it :o)

The last time I shopped at Willey's was in 1987. Willey's sold such good quality merchandise that my school (Sterling College) actually required students to purchase some of their gear from Willey's store. I'd love to visit again some day!

Love this place. I travel up here from time to time, this store has everything you need. It's like five different stores in one... grocery, convenience, hardware, clothes, home needs, etc... If Willey's doesn't sell it, you probably don't need it.

This store always seems to have what I'm looking for when it comes to fittings, pipe, nuts, bolts and washers. And the people are very friendly. I very much recommend it. Very good deli sandwiches to 😉.

Willey's is the prototypical general store. It carries the essentials - food, clothing, and shelter (well, enough hardware to build a shelter, anyway). The variety of products is astounding; it's like a Super Wal-Mart in a fraction of the space. I love just going in there and wondering around because I always end up being reminded of something I wanted to get but forgot about.

Well stocked store with all the necessities. During COVID-19 they are offering delivery and limiting the number of masked customers in store. Plus, Hill Farmstead beer amongst numerous other Vermont drinks for purchase!

Willey's general store is possibly the greatest general store in the world! Joking aside, if you are staying in the area this will be your main source of everything. Food, drink, clothes, outdoor equipment, goods for housework, DIY, sporting goods, bait, shoes and even gasoline. There are cheaper alternatives but you'll spend 30 minutes getting there.

Greensboro is the place in life where you come for consistency, beauty, and quiet. Willey's supports that mentality, however, that is where you go to meet with family and friends. It is the general store to go to, to catch up on "daily happenings" (so quiet doesn't necessarily exist there). My mother, who has come to this special place for 50+ years, brought my sisters and I here, off and on, for 20+ years. We knew Willeys when the owner of the store could be heard whistling throughout the aisles and greeting the customers with a friendly face. Willeys was the place we would be itching to take the trail to so we could get our daily dose of sugar with whatever cash we had saved or could beg from our parents. It gradually became the place we would go to get our cool sweatpants and sweatshirts, no one else in our hometowns could possibly have. Then Willeys met us as adults, the cheese and wine or beer "conneseuirs." Which by the way those adult selves still would buy the candy and cool clothing. Some of us come with children of our own now and can allow them to have the same piece of home that we had growing up here. Willeys has seen generations of families come and go. It has grown right along with us. It has become a more sophisticated general store from what I remember, especially the upstairs, however they have done an amazing job meeting the needs and requirements of today. Without Willeys, these trips would never be the same.

I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to see one of their employees not wearing a mask. EVERY OTHER PERSON in there was doing so. Don’t be rude to your customers and fellow employees! Please consider their health, if not your own.
