We've been camping nearby for about 5 weeks now -- finally getting ready to leave -- and I want to give a shout out to Smith's Grocery for consistently excellent service and delicious food! We don't eat a lot of meat, and they make the best veggie grinders, so we had them often. The one time we had a Margherita pizza, it was magnificent. The vanilla creamees in the trailer around the back are sinfully good. I can't say enough good things about the staff and food at Smith's! These are the businesses that keep Vermont alive. Thanks, y'all, for being there and being excellent.

We had Smith’s make our salads and other side dishes for a family reunion in June, and Jen helped us with some awesome selections. The food was all delicious and the portions were very generous. We will definitely use them again!

Absolutely Love Jen(one of the owners)…love how she keeps the store connected within the community!.Many of the Employees are wonderful… & most will do whatever they can to make the customer happy in fact Jen herself will go above & beyond to connect with customers & making them Happy with overall service & quality 😍😀😁However other Employees have A Book of excuses as to why they can’t do this or help with that?. I’ve go down to get Breakfast sandwiches/Burritos & if there isn’t any so many other employees will make it (they have amazing breakfast burritos,they even put potato wedges in them 😍😍😍) but others have had so many “Reasons” why they can’t make a Breakfast Burrito… Fryolator isn’t on & ready, Everything’s measured out the night before, Owner said they can’t make them when the ones in the hot warmer are gone etc the list seriously goes on!. Normally the Warmer has Plenty of Breakfast Burritos & Sandwiches…yes I’m not always able to go in at the same time daily so it all depends on how early I’m able to get there & thats totally understandable but with a deli that prepares these food items u would think u would be able to have these items prepared for u upon request?!. Guess Not….***I didn’t even want Meat in the Breakfast Burrito if there’s none left in warmer & I ask to have one prepared for me I don’t get Meat just EGG VEGGIES & CHEESE but still couldn’t get it Made***So I guess for now on I’m gonna have to just get over the fact that I love the Breakfast Burritos from Smiths Grocery & go else where For a Breakfast Burrito or just not get one at all… cause if there isn’t any left in the warmer even though there’s a deli where you can order the food they make there your unable to order the breakfast food?????This truly don’t make any Sense to me at all!!!.Extremely Disappointed with the EXCUSES… truly hope something can change so that way there’s not other customers being given excuses why a food item can’t be prepared for them but only when it’s certain employees…

We love Smith's. Landon and Jen have done terrific things. Great beer selection, delicious offerings at the deli, fairly priced non-ethanol gas for my Audi, and always helpful staff.They are truly a gift to this community.

Dropped of a snowmobile trailer load of bottles for my special needs brother was told to call in a couple days waited 2 days called to just check status and woman that answered the phone was rude said nothing is done I mentioned that I didn't even tell her my name yet she replied don't care they not done and was incredibly snotty and rude about it .BAD first and last experience with smith's store I don't like being reamed by an employee for just asking a question as directed by bottle kid

Smith's Grocery is no run of the mill store. Family owned and operated it has been at the heart of our community for close to 50 yrs. They carry all varieties of locally grown products such as meat's , produce and have an amazing assortment of wine's. Furthermore there beer cooler is always hosting a new type of Ale or new flavor of selter beer lol. I cant forget the food it is spectacular!!! The prices are fair and no matter what the staff always treats you with a smile and a hello or goodbye.

Great local family business. You're classic family run general store. Great food and right along the snowmobile trail. They have gas and kerosene and great pizza.

Smith country store is not the old building that I remember back in the 70s. But the staff is friendly and you can get what you need.
