Best campground in Vermont! The owners are the kindest, most-welcoming people on the planet. Nothing but fun here for the whole family with lots of beautiful memories to make.

We only stayed there one night. But it deserves 5 stars because of the service received. The owners were not around but one family member who was there took us around the park to find a spot for the night. The campground is nice. The spot we got had a lot of space between us and the neighbor. And we met the owners the next day. When the time came to pay for the night, I only had Canadian dollars with me (we had just crossed over the evening before). They still gladly took our CAD as payment. We had a great first night in the US.Vermont as a lot of very nice people!

Really disapointed with how we were treated while our short stay, it became unenjoyable to go pretty quickly in with in the first month, non of my family wanted to visit the camp ground because lorry was so rude to them. There was one instance my sister put money in the visit box and she ran after her yelling at her making sure she paid (even though she did) there was several instances very similar to this. Very nosy, and anything you did wrong instead in a polite way she would yell at you. The pool area is dangerous with the cement that had settled so my baby fell a few times and hit her head one day really hard we had to leave. We got yelled at for very petty things. The last draw was I asked them to pump out our tank after 3 months of being there it was only pumped out once and I called Tuesday at 10 in the morning asking for our tank to be pumped because my sister was using our camper she said she will have Doug do that. It didn’t get done so I said something and she said that I had to pay $30 for her to do it and I didn’t see why I would have to pay I’d she forgot and she continued to tell me I should of been put on the list and my husband should of done that I responded with I’m not going to blame my husband when he didn’t know. And she yelled over the phone your going to sit here and blame me? Got her defensive and awful. She was aloud to forget things but we were not in any business if your in the wrong you did that you cover those costs instead of fighting with someone and blaming them on your mistake. Forgetfulness is ok for both parties things happen but you don’t treat people the way we were it’s really not ok. My husband pumped our tank in the pouring rain in the dark. I can’t ever reccomend this place in good faith as long as lorry is the way she is. Doug has been great and we really enjoyed him and I’m sorry if this has affected you.We feel as $2250 has been wasted away.

Nice place. Mostly seasonal campers. The owners are extremely engaged in the operation. The park is clean and well maintained. Didn’t have time to enjoy much but looks like an excellent place to be for the summer

Quiet, clean and well kept. Owners are very friendly and engaged with everyone. Mostly seasonal campers. We had a double lot: 2 lot, 2 hook up stations for rv and trailer. Worked great

Well to start, I will say that the camp grounds are actually very clean and well maintained, as well as the bathrooms and the pool. The 2 star rating comes from the terrible interactions and attitude issues of whoever is running this place. We drove 3 hours to stay here and we were immediately didn't want to stay.1. Speed limit is 5 miles an hour. This is not a problem and I was more than happy to accommodate, however even clocking in at a shocking 3MPH I was given the "slow down" hand movements by who I assume to be the owner, and their regulars. (again, happy to do it... But this is ridiculous)2. Charged for two sites planned for sites to be adjoining and reserved then as such, then we were told they would be split between two ends of the grounds. And upon condensing to 1 site, still did not receive my return on the other side.I don't know if it was an off day, or if the woman we spoke to is always as rude and snobby as she was to us the entire weekend, but had I known the state park had open sites just a few miles up the road we would've gone there prior to even setting up camp after the first interaction. Is it pretty? Sure.Clean? Yes, absolutely.Would I recommend this place to any of my friends? No.

The absolute worst campground I have ever been to. You will not get piece and quiet because the sites and so closely bunched up. If you want to connect with nature and hear all of its pleasant sounds as the sun sets, forget about it cause all you will be hearing are loud conversations and music from the other sites. If you are not interested in connecting with nature and live the same life as you would in the city, this is your place. There is nothing to do outside the campground and it’s vicinity either .

Stayed the summer. Loved it. Best place. Lori And Doug are wonderful. The pool is beautiful. A lot of activities, and a lot of fun . It is geared for the family and for people that work. My husband works on a bridge and it’s quiet. I just wish we could come back next year but you have to go where the job wants you. You will love Mill Pond Campground. Thank you Lori and Doug for a wonderful summer!

If your looking for a great family and pet friendly campground in Franklin County..look no further, this is it!The owners are wonderful, outgoing, and very accommodating (I got there close to midnight in a downpour with 2 small dogs, and the owners were still awake, just waiting for me..so appreciated). They have new community activities/functions every weekend (Hawaiian Pig Roast in August for example). There is a fenced in, off leash dog park (my dogs' favorite), a pool, game room, pavilion, store, fishing, paddle boats, horse shoes and more. For me and my family it was an amazing find in a beautiful area with wonderful people that made us wonder why we ever chose hotels! We will definitely be spending more vacations there.

First time at campground. Terrible lot...on a hill. Great fireworks display. However did not like that kids were letting off firecrackers all day long especially since it is supposed to be dog friendly. If we were put on a lot for which it is possible to level camper then my review would be 4*.

Love this place so much! So grateful for the friends that turned into my Mill Pond family over my many summers camping. The summer season is made so much brighter by such a wonderful camp community! Looking forward to many more years of camping at Mill Pond with my little fur-babies!

Absolutely beautiful campground. My mom, gf, and I stayed in Laurie's RV and it was perfect. We had everything we needed and more. It was a quiet campground. Had all the amenities. Anything we needed we could ask Laurie and she was very accommodating. Highly recommend

We are very disappointed with how our planned trip was handled. We had booked for 3 nights well over a month ago knowing that Covid could be an issue with out of state travelers. So I called and asked at the time of booking if we are good to stay, and was informed as of that time we where. So I paid in full for our 3 nights. We are now a week away from our trip, so I call to confirm and find out what we need to do. Since I have not heard from them in any manner. So after I call to confirm, the husband says his wife will call me back, OK. So I get a call from the wife, who states that she has issued me a refund (not a full refund) because THEY are canceling my reservation. WHAT!!! Why??? So her secret web site does not have the state of Georgia on her list, but the State of Vermont has no issues as long as I prove negative on a PCR test. So very bad business and I will be contacting the BBB or anyone else I can find to lodge a complaint.
