Stopped in around 8pm...lights all on, but the doors were locked. Hours posted say open until 10pm. This place is such a joke. Never know when they'll be open or closed. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this business.

They can't seem to be able to stay open during posted hours. Went tonight, and despite all postings stating they're open until 10PM, the door is locked at 9:30PM, and two employees behind the counter talking. One sees me at the door and proceeds to turn around. Great service

Fran is a worker at Fairfax Dollar General. She is a joy to see and is always helpful, happy, efficient, knowledgeable and works very hard. I just wanted to say a few kind words about a very kind person.

Least friendly staff you’ll ever encounter at a Dollar General. One female cashier in particular won’t utter a word to you while you check out. I thank her when she hands me my receipt and she just grunts. Plus the store looks like a train wreck every time I’m in there. Never a positive experience in this store.

This Dollar General is so convenient in Fairfax. Well managed. Community friendly. Super attentive staff. Friendly, courteous, always willing to take time from stocking to answer questions or help me find an item. Readily available to help someone who is disabled. Very accessible. No stairs. Automatic sliding doors. Many items that would be more expensive elsewhere. Large chain store with hometown touch which is much appreciated.

The Ilse's are always cluttered with boxes of new products and it's very hard for me to maneuver around them with my shopping cart and being 100% Disabled makes it even more difficult for me! I normally spend around $75.00 too a $100.00 on stuff from this store, but lately I am only spending under $20.00 Dollars because of this problem! You would think that they would leave the new shipment of Products in the back and then after they closed for the night, someone else would go into the store and put the new Items on the shelves for the next day when they open up the store again! Your losing a lot of business just from me alone and I have heard other customers complain about this exact same issue also. I bet your sales have decreased dramatically since this has been happening by these employees? If it happens to me again when I go there too shop for my stuff, it will definitely be the last time that I ever set foot in your store again and that's a Promise that I will always keep too!THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND WHAT YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE DOING TO YOUR BUSINESS AND LOSING MONEY AND GOOD CUSTOMERS ALSO!

The only problem I had was there was no disinfectant wipes out the guy went out back and got me some. With covid they should be on the shelves out not in the back. room.
