We did a curbside pickup, and an associate was out to see us quickly. He was kind and professional. However, when we went to pick up our supplies, there was no one to help load our truck and the associate said they should have been someone there. We managed to load our on materials but, it was a little awkward.

In my recent encounter with Lowe’s in Essex, Vermont, what started positively with Martha, a kitchen specialist assisting me on a $21,000 order, quickly soured due to a simple oversight - failing to add my MVP number for store credit.Efforts to resolve this through numerous emails and calls to staff, including an assistant manager named Joe, proved futile over a month.Even after escalating to corporate, promises remained unfulfilled, wasting over 12 hours of my time for a benefit that never materialized.As a professional contractor, this experience has reaffirmed my reluctance to use big-box stores for their notable disorganization and unreliability.Despite initial hopes that Lowe's could efficiently manage a home renovation order, I've been left with only regret and a significant loss in both time and money.This ordeal has decisively convinced me to avoid Lowe's in the future.

Indifferent staff. Bad systems and no apologies.On a Sunday we ordered an over five hindred dollar grill and they told us they had ten in stock and could deliver on Wednesday. Free delivery and assembly. Super. Automated confirmation texts to my phone. Wednesday came and no grill. Texting wouldnt update status. My wife called and was told it was damaged and replcement would be Friday.Suspicious I went in person in the evening where they told me it was never assembled but they could give me the grill unassembled in the box if I wanted it right away.I asked them if there was a discount. No. Is the floor model available? No. Can I have the next size up? No.Doesn't matter that I've shopped there since they opened I'm just another guy with a problem they don't want to deal with.I got my money refunded because I figure they've lied once they'll lie again. Lots of other places selling grills.

My boyfriend and I went to this establishment to purchase some insulation board. When we got there we found what we were looking for but needed more than what was on the shelf, so we decided to go up front and ask if there was anymore inventory that was not on the shelves. My boyfriend stated they only have 12 boards and we needed 16. The man behind the counter looked puzzled on how he could help us out so my boyfriend then had to ask him if he was able to look it up in the system to see how many sheets were in store. Not only could he not find the product but he could not comprehend what was being asked of him. Then a second man came up and tried to help. He knew more about searching in the system but still could not give us an answer as to the total amount that was on the premises. He said the “best he could do for us” was call someone from that department to that isle to help us. We said okay, the man called over the store speaker to please help us in the specific isle. Not only did we wait there for 10 min but NO ONE showed up. The real kicker was right before we went to leave an employee walked by our isle looked at us and proceeded to walk to the next isle over and just stand there. We ended up walking out, The thing is my boyfriend knows they stock overstock behind the building so we drove around and took a look for ourselves. What do you know they had a fully wrapped skid of what we were looking for. Needless to say, Lowe’s needs to hire people that are educated and that understand what they’re doing or they need to train them better because it was absolutely unacceptable that we had this experience there. With the prices of today this company needs to do better with their hiring process and decisions!

Not impressed with the company you use for warranty work on appliances. I’ve been trying to get my washer fixed for 6 weeks now and it looks like it’s going to be another 2 1/2 weeks before they get me back on the schedule. They have rescheduled me now twice and came out once and didn’t have part so they had to order it. They were supposed to be out today to install the new parts but had to cancel again. Very frustrating since I haven’t been able to use my washer for 6 weeks. Maybe you should set some better standards with this company.

From now I will be going to Home Depot for all of my purchases. Unfortunately, Lowe's and their customer service team have greatly disappointed me. As someone who works in customer service, I know how important it is to give every customer the best experience possible. However, Lowe's has failed to do that on each occasion I've been here. To be told that my purchase is lost and nobody knows what's going on is not something you want to hear after making a big purchase. While I understand mistakes happen and this is a busy time of year for everyone, to only be apologized to after I brought up how unprofessional and lacking it was in the customer service department certainly says a lot. Nobody tried to resolve the issue of my missing order or bothered to look into it. For nobody to help but rather just issue the refund shows just how little this place values its customers.My family purchased a washing machine and dryer on November 28th and scheduled the delivery for today. Yesterday we recieved a calling saying they "couldn't find my order" because "someone else's name was on it." Later that day (December 7th) they called again to say that delivery would be today, December 8th between 12pm-4pm. An hour before the delivery window we recieve an email stating our delivery was "rescheduled for unknown reasons." No one from the store bothered to call nor reach out. It took three times to call the store before someone finally answered and transferred our call to an associate that could help. She informed us that "she didn't work yesterday so she has no idea what's going on." She proceeded to inform us that half our order was missing and that she "would look into it or issue a refund." There were no updates after that.Went to Home Depot and the employees there were far more personable and willing to help. They took the time to explain the different washers and dryers they had and helped to find the one that would best suit my family's needs. Not only that but the employee who assisted us made sure we knew all of the charges and let us know that we would be CALLED with any updates or changes to our order. Something that Lowe's does not appear to do.Went back to Lowe's to get a refund and it took three employees and one manager to issue a refund, one of which claimed our card "was never charged because the items were still in pick up." However, bank statements would prove otherwise. This same employee proceeded to ask if we "really wanted the delivery fee refunded." The items were NEVER delivered so I am not entirely sure why they would ask me that. A manager was paged who never showed up to assist me and my family which demonstrates to me the lack of care they have for their customers. Home Depot went above and beyond to not only price match us but never once made me feel out of place or like I was bothering them. The same can not be said for the Lowe's employees who made me feel as though I was the one inconveniencing them. I recommend that anyone looking to purchase appliances and have them delivered goes to Home Depot. Save yourself the headache of dealing with Lowe's.

Ordered washer/dryer from the Essex Jct Lowes in Nov.and paid to have it delivered. Delivery day was set for today for my convenience, and all of a sudden they cannot find my order. Placed 3 phone calls in the morning twice i got hung up on before I finally spoke to someone who said they have no idea what happened to the order. Last night I got a phone call with a delivery time, and an email saying it was on the truck and ready for delivery, today they cant find it. Went to Home Depot explained and got exceptional customer service. After purchasing another set from HD I went to lowes to get a refund and they gave me the run around, and could not figure out how to refund my delivery / haul away fees. The associate had the audacity to ask if I really wanted my fees refunded. Then proceeded to tell me that my card was never charged because they don't charge until after the product is delivered. They paged a manager for assistance who never bothered to come over, the girl saw another manager and had him come over. This whole process took an additional 45 min. At no time did any associate nor the manager apologize for the inconvenience it caused, wasting my day, the extra running around and having to take a day off from work for nothing. The fact that no one bothered to rectify the issues shows how little they care about customer service. I suggest going to Home Depot if you actually want quality customer service. They also matched the price I paid at lowes for a more expensive set.

So unhappy with Lowes delivery of my washing machine. I bought it on line, because it could be delivered on one day. I arranged for people to be here, I received notice that it was coming. Then the morning of received new notice that it would be arriving 3 days later! Tried to get thru to ESSEX Lowes as this was the store it was coming from. NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE!! I won't use them again.

I love this Lowe's. They make sure when you buy a plant, that you know how to safely take it home without it dying. Also, found the best aloe plant to go in my Groot pot. 😍 Their selection of plants varies, but if you love bamboo like I do, they have a great selection in January/February. Moreover, they cut some fiberglass for my coffee table today and it looks fantastic!

Tried to buy a refrigerator only to have delivery pushed 3 times. They lost the refrigerator, and then told me they had delivered. Turns out they delivered and installed at the wrong house. Unfortunate! Something needs to improve.

Shifty appliance supervisor in Ryan Turnbaugh.I bought a wall oven and a stovetop.The stovetop didn't fit the cut out.After assurances from him that it would.Zero understanding and a lot of complacency from this quiet quitter.He promised a call back with an alternative.No call back.I found an induction cooktop that could work possibly.I did ask for a customer satisfaction discount and he got denied by the interim store manager. Buyer beware of this outfitI asked about the extended warranty for mywall oven,which I kept. He scanned an entirely different product for the warranty and farmed off the contacting of customer service on me. He's a pleasant guy who just really doesn't care or want to be a student of his chosen job. Is my takeaway. I've spent a lot of money over the years at Lowes. Time to part company.

I'm a big fan of Lowe's, one big thing that's happening across all these retailers however is they're all going to self-service, and the last time I went multiple things had invalid bar codes, and I needed to constantly have the attendant come over, put in their information over and over again so I could check out. It ended up taking way longer to check out than if they actually had a few more registers open.

I was so excited, ordered a new pitboss grill and took advantage of free assembly. Got a date of 8/13 that it would be ready. Seemed like a long wait, but I get it. Assembly takes time. Got a text on 8/14 that my order was read. I assume it was the full order, as previous texts said only “some” of my order was ready. I went to store and they had my item, but said assemblers haven’t been there for two weeks and they didn’t know when the6 would be there next. It’s now 8/23 and it’s still awaiting assembly and they still have no idea when assemblers will be in next. What a horrible experience.UPDATE: I see your response to call you. Every time I do that, they just tell me they don't have any idea when it's going to get done. It's been 2.5 weeks now since you had it, and STILL NO IDEA WHEN IT'S GOING TO GET ASSEMBLED. What a joke.UPDATE #2: I called again. The person said it showed still awaiting assembly, but put me on hold to check further. Something about finding someone who could log into a portal. Over 20 minutes of hold music, I hung up and called back. Same person was still looking for someone. I couldn’t keep waiting on hold and asked them to make sure someone called me back. That was 3 days ago. It will now be over 30 days my barbecue grill will have been sitting there waiting assembly, and you still are unable to tell me when it will be assembled. How is this acceptable to you?

Absolutely miserable experience getting orders delivered from here. Latest order, which was over 1500$ worth of supplies, mostly lumber, was delivered 4 weeks late after 4 no-show delivers (they never canceled, just never showed up). More than 400$ worth of the order was either damaged, incorrect, or simply missing upon delivery.I've spent more time on the phone and in this Lowe's trying to get this issue resolved than it is taking me to actually build the chicken coop the supplies were for...pretty pathetic.Lastly, their customer service here is poor. I get it, no one wants a hear about a customer getting taken advantaged of by a massive company, everyone is underpaid and undervalued. Guess what, me too. I'd just like to get it resolved and move on with my life, but I still have not received a refund on the order's items that never were delivered as well as those that were damaged upon delivery, and getting a hold of management can be struggle, especially after the customer service representative has prolifically ripped you a new one as an "obnoxious, annoying, impatient customer" who "needs to act more grateful". I thought I had been patient with the 4 no-show deliveries and the month-delayed response they had to the issue. I also thought that if you paid for something, you ought to recieve the item you paid for else being reimbursed. I guess that's not how this Lowe's does business.I strongly encourage everyone not to support this Lowe's store if at all possible. I know I won't be in the future.

Lowes employees and policies are terrible. There are 7 employees standing around while I am waiting for help and nobody can figure out how to unlock a cable.Then when I return the item due to parts missing the sales lady in returns forgot to return $70 of purchase. I was livid. Then a week later I return and after dealing with employees I’m ready to set items down and just walk away.I won’t deal with this again. Home Depot isn’t that far away!

Didn't have wasp remover stocked, went to customer service and they "couldn't find someone" to bring down the product but they did make multiple calls over intercom. Waited 25min, but watched many gardening and customer service employees standing around doing nothing when all of them were able to find a ladder and restock the product.

My family purchased a dishwasher this past May with installation included & a five year warranty. The dishwasher has not appropriately drained since purchase. We have spent countless HOURS on the phone trying to get it replaced, only for each person to tell us to contact another party. We have been told five or six times to expect delivery and have yet to get our product replaced. Lowe’s is operating a scam and has zero interest in their customers or the products they are peddling. We are patiently waiting a call back from Ryan Turnbaugh (appliance supervisor) or anyone from the Essex, VT location to give us the product we paid in full for.

This has to be the worst Lowe's that I have ever shopped at in my life; and I have typically liked Lowe's in the past. Getting a delivery from this store is next to impossible. Even after giving weeks of lead time they still couldn't deliver. When I called, they basically told me "too bad". The customer service is awful and I have had people tell me they're too busy to help me before and that I would have to come back another day. Want to file a complaint with management? Forget it - I don't even think there is a manager at the store. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this store!EDIT: They responded to my review. Too bad they don't respond to my phone calls to the delivery department.

And I purchased gusto from Lowe’s in Essex two weeks ago my delivery supposed to be tomorrow and they told me they’re gonna call me 24 hours prior delivery now it’s 1230 and nobody’s calling me. I tried to call store and for the last two hours they just keep transferring me from phone to phone and nobody cannot give me any answer.
