One of my favorite microbreweries in Vermont. The way I describe this place is like going to Cheers in Boston “where everyone knows your name”! The beers are awesome, the place is comfortable and has a nice ambiance, people are friendly and most importantly they love dogs. Yeah very dog friendly establishment which is cool to see.Denial and Vet are their signature and popular IPAs which are delicious. They have some porters like the WatchDog which is a great beer too. Nice place to stop by to chat, meet other people, play some games and enjoy good beer.

Great atmosphere for buying production products vs tasting and hanging out for a flight. Owner was great, good socially distant conversation during this timeframe. Always a nice bonus to support veteran owned business as well. Misinformation Pale Ale is very good!

For beer drinkers and home brewers, this store is a treasure. The proprietors are wonderful friendly and knowledgeable about the beers you're tasting or ingredients for brewing. Their love beer is infectious. I can think of few better ways to spend an afternoon than going to the store. Tasting a few of their beers, then selecting a one for a full pint to take around the store as you shop for your next home brew recipe. Those that don't brew will nonetheless find the brewery to be one of the most comfortable, welcoming bars around.

This brewery nails it. I had 4 tasters across a variety and all rocked. Got to chat with the head brewer and he couldn’t have been more friendly for a few minutes. Will definitely be back.

Great Brewery 👍 great atmosphere. Live music and even Smokin' Joe's BBQ Food truck that parks outside from time to time! Try there Pilsner! And say hi to Winchester if you run into him there!

Solid beer but while our Uber rider was 4 minutes away (I said this to the staff) we were kicked out to the sidewalk in the cold. This would be fine but two other parties were playing bar games and still drinking. Seems we’re we’re not “their type of people”. Extremely disappointed.

Continuing Awesomeness - I've only been in the store once and staff was very friendly and helpful. I however have repeatedly used the online service. My most recent order was picked, packed and shipped within mere hours of placing the order and delivered the next day. I had an occasion a few months back where they were out of a grain I had ordered, and I was quickly contacted and a replacement was recommended and included. Rock on!

A great place. All the employees were extremely friendly and personable. They talked and joked through the crowd. Everyone who was there seemed to know each other which gave this place a very opening and friendly atmosphere. The beer is excellent as well!

Amazing brewery with amazing staff. Shawn and Mike know how to make their customers feel at home. Lots of variety on tap, and games to play including darts, and cornhole. This will be anyone's next Cheers bar trust me!

They have a beautiful fully stocked store with everything you'll need for brewing. We can't wait to taste some of their beer when the brewery opens and highly recommend 1st Republic to all home brewers!!

We picked out a recipe to brew while we’re isolating and sent it along to 1st Republic. Sean advised us on the timeline to get everything ordered, helped us make some necessary substitutions, and assembled and packed it all up. He notified us it was ready for curbside pickup and we stopped on by. It was fast, convenient, and Sean was super friendly and helpful. Love these guys!!!

Went to visit the area, this brewery was close to where we were staying so we decided to give it a try. What a hidden gem, Im so happy we went here! Amazing beer and the hospitality from the owner alone made it all worth it! Absolutely would visit again!

I only bought some yeast, but there was customer service involved, as well, and it was very good. The yeast is excellent, and my blackberry wine is chugging happily away. I can't wait until 1st Republic starts brewing.

We went to see the Shane Murley band and have a beer. We ended up having a great time, and a few beers. The band was good and the beer was great! This was a fun place that we will go back to.

I've visited nearly 200 breweries and tasted close to 2,000 beers over the past six years. 1st Republic is at the top of my list of the best brewers in America because every one of their beers is well above average in every category. These guys know what they're doing.

Shawn there is very knowledgeable, great customer service. Worth the trip for sure. They were able to help me with my set up for a kegerator for seltzer. They had all the supply's you would need. I had one keg that had a minor issue, but they replaced this with no questions and even replaced my co2, which I was not expecting. I live 1 hour away, but it's with the drive.

Got the book "The Compleat Distiller" and I can't hardly put it down long enough to write this review. It arrived speedily and the seller's communication was great. Have bought from them before and will likely being buying from them again in the future. Great service and would highly recommend.

Come for the Porter stay for the doggy kisses! Fantastic beers and a dog friendly tap room. Something for everyone but their 104 Porter is a can’t miss!
