came here during the eclipse and the deli counter was slammed. the two ladies behind the counter were awesome and working hard to get everyone’s order done. sandwich was fire too

Gluten Free Cheese Pizza UNCOOKED crust. Worst Pizza Ever Eaten. Asked to cook a second time still uncooked through. Workers said it is frozen pizza crust and they can't cook because on a pan to protect it. It will taste funky and not as crispy because of pan. But I dont understand, why under cooked is acceptable for someone to eat. IT'S NOT!! I asked one of the workers if she would eat it after I explained its raw crust and unedible. She tells me she doesn't like gluten free. THE POINT IS NOT COOKED. Alot of excuses from the workers. Didn't offer refund or exchange. Waste of money! I had to ask for a cup of GF soup so I could eat with my family. That was barely warm on top of it. DON'T sell GLUTEN FREE pizza if you dont know how to cook it.

Very good pizza! We did not plan well and arrived close to closing, but the staff member quickly was able to get a pizza in the oven for us. While we waited, we were given some great MTB trail recommendations of the area.

Easily the best Turkey Club I've ever eaten... Quality ingredients, great bread, perfect flavor. I'm still thinking about that sandwich months after and wish the friendly staff/amazing sandwiches were closer to where I live. Will have to make another visit and well worth-it!

Everybody has rough days, esp service workers. But when your rough day consists of making fun of a customer's name, to their face, and being nasty to two teens looking for gluten free bread, maybe it's a sign to take a breather and come back in five minutes or something. I will not return here if the woman who was making the food is there next time. When I got to the counter, she asked me to wait so they could catch up on orders. I said, no problem, and waited patiently until another woman, the owner?, came over. Gave my order and then went outside to wait. Came back in after a few minutes and was ready to wait. Said employee told me that burritos take a long time cause you have to cook each ingredient separately and I said that's OK. She responded, "it'll have to be!", to which I just looked at her confused. When it was finally done the guy grabbed my ticket to call my name and then they both proceeded to loudly talk about how weird my name was and how they didn't know what it said or how to say it and maybe it was wrong. I went up and told them how to pronounce my name. The employee then said, "well I would've spelled it Kee.." and I interrupted and said, "that's not how it's spelled" and I spelled it for her. She handed me the burrito and said "well I can't read it". I was too angry and stunned to say anything so I just walked out. The burrito itself was bland and unseasoned so that was a disappointment as well.

Wondering where to grab a bite before hitting the trails? This is the spot. Wife and I had a fantastic breakfast sandwich and super pancakes. Real maple syrup of course. Good price and honest food. Not well advertised but give it a go.

Their turkey sandwich includes dressing and cranberries, fantastic. I am a bread person, so having such a tasty, hearty bread for the sandwich set it over the top. The guys there were very friendly, even drawing a map to get us to the closest liquor store to find some "local" spirits.

The sandwiches are really good. The place sells few pretty cool local items like honey, maple syrup, lotions, etc. They also serve beer. Not a lot of tables though.

If you want to follow Covid19 rules and not eat within 2-3 feet of other customers... none of whom were following masks rule or distance rules (they appear not to be required by this store)... go elsewhere in wonderful E. Burke. Yikes is all I can say. Nice spot but not during pandemic! Even for VT this was seriously not cool. Other spots in E. Burke and Burke are following rules... go there for now.

Fresh bread sold here as well as fresh sandwiches and pizza. Charming place inside. Has merchandise sold in the 2nd level loft which is a very interesting bold inside. Very old building.

Funky little store, with food and the classic country store items. Try and find the bear with the chain necklace next to the bathroom. I didn’t actually buy anything here so I can’t judge it, but the bathroom is public and works fine!

Nice clean hotel. Quiet in a beautiful location and just off interstate but know your exit bfore you get there as not advertised on highway. Vt state be law.
