One star shy of 5 stars. We had the “Eggs anyway” breakfast. We had no issue with the price as we expected a Dorset Inn quality breakfast. Our feedback is that the eggs were excellent ….local eggs and great whole grain bread. Unfortunately, the cheap Sysco style sausage was a drawback from an otherwise great breakfast.A suggestion to serve a higher grade sausage such as a local Vermont sausage?

We used Dorset Bakery for our wedding cake and wedding desserts. Everything we chose was absolutely delicious and the experience couldn’t have been better. Our semi-naked cake was made with vanilla cake and frosting, with one layer of peanut butter filling and one layer of coffee filling. Once cut, the cake disappeared so incredibly fast. It was so delicious. Ali’s vanilla cake is so soft and moist, it is the perfect pair for the flavored fillings.Beyond the cake, we chose mini cheesecakes (absolutely must have!!), strawberry shortcake shooters, cannoli shooters, and then 4 different types of cupcake: chocolate with peanut butter, vanilla with coffee, vanilla with cookies and cream, and maple bacon. The vanilla cupcakes are seriously the best, they just melt in your mouth.Beyond the delicious goods, working with Ali was a delight. We went in to visit her twice and were able to taste several combinations. The bakery itself is such a great spot for breakfast and a coffee, or lunch with a beer or wine. Ali was very helpful and very professional. Delivery and setup on the day of our wedding at Mountain Top Inn was mindless.We will absolutely be stopping in to see Ali at Dorset Bakery many times in our future.*** Photo credit: Kelsey Regan Photography

We worked with the Dorset Bakery on our wedding dessert selection. Dorset Bakery was a huge help to us in selecting the right number and variety of dessert for our wedding. The desserts were delicious and a huge hit for our guests. We loved all the fall flavors we selected from pumpkin cheesecake to apple pie! They were so beautiful as well and looked great on our dessert table.

DELICIOUS! I highly recommend this place for lunch! My mom and I stopped here while driving through Dorset hoping to find some lunch, and boy did we find something amazing. It was so perfect and yummy. I got the Vermont BLT and it was amazing! My mom also loved their coleslaw! Thank you Dorsey Bakery for a perfect lunch!

Nice bakery if you have the time to stop by and take a look PERIOD I Wish it would be Bigger inside and had More of a Variety. However the sandwiches are good. Some chocolate croissants would be great to add to the menu. This place made Our son's wedding cake and it came Out phenomenal. They have inside seating as well as outside seating. It's worth a quick stopping.

Disappointed. This was my Sunday brunch spot until today. I ordered the French Toast with Sausage. It was served undercooked, soggy and cold. I sent it back-I was offered to have it put back on the grill. I declined as my appetite was gone after that mess. My refund was granted with a snarky attitude minus tax that I had paid. I have heard from past employees that attitude runs hot there..maybe there is some truth to that. Customer service could be improved upon. Had they given me a full refund and included my coffee and the tax in my refund I would be writing a different review. I say this (not for a free coffee) as I have worked in the restaurant business and know a little kindness and respect goes a long ways.

Nice decor. Kinda cute place. Very good menu incorporating veggie things. Good coffeeWe order our own food at counter (which is fine) and collected our coffees. However, waitress prompted me to choose tip options while paying. I wasn’t sure what I was tipping for as I did all the work. Just for someone to bring my plate? I still paid tip as it is a bit odd, I guess I could have taken option of no tip. But this seems like putting people on spot for no reason or actual work. No one offered any water or anything-it’s mostly self service

What a pleasant experience having lunch at this bakery. This is the type of place where you order your food at the counter then you sit at a table, inside or outside. The sandwiches are delicious and the latte and baked goods are really good.

I stood at the counter for what felt like 10 minutes before the 2 women behind the counter stopped chit chatting long enough to rudely ask me what I wanted. After ordering my tea and croissant, one worker pushed a cup of hot water across the counter in my direction, sloshing half of the water out of the cup, and told me to get my own tea bag on the table in the back. I made my tea, and waited for the croissant. I stood there for another 5 minutes until one lady again rudely asked me what I wanted. I said I was waiting for the croissant, and she finally put it on a plate and gave it to me. This place looks nice on the outside, but the quality of the people serving have such poor manners that I do not feel comfortable returning again.

We went there twice for breakfast during our stay in Manchester. There were 6 of us, two of who are kids. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant & accommodating. The sandwiches, egg dishes & of course the baked goods were outstanding. Next time in the area we will visit here again. I highly recommend.

The bakery is exquisite. The crossaints and scones are devine.Breakfast could be a little better. Who serves a customer 1 and 1/2 pcs of sausage. Menu said homefries served with entree...cashier argued saying that the French toast nor the scrambled eggs were entrees. But one party ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich and got home fries.Well worth a visit and a very nice place nestled in the little town of Dorset.

This bakery is in a great location it is very quaint and cute on the inside. I have visited three times and sadly have left mostly disappointed. I went today and purchased a avocado toast breakfast to go. I open the box immediately when returning to my car and the site was almost laughable. The potatoes were cold and rubbery, and the eggs were not cooked at all, and the avocado was brown. I was extremely disappointed.

Had a great lunch there (BLT), and an eclair for dessert. A good eclair is my standard for a bakery I will go back to. And this one did not disappoint. Fresh, custard filling (not like those ones you sometimes get which taste artificial).Outdoor seating is also available if the weather is good.

My daughter and I go every Friday after school for our sweet fix. We go to breakfast for special occasions. Love the staff the place is well decorated and the food and bakes are delicious. The Chai is perfect, the right amount of spices

Beautiful outdoor seating and a gorgeous day. The food was very good. I had the avocado toast without egg and mozzarella to make it plant based. It came with sliced tomato and home fries. The reason for the 3 stars is that the oat milk latte was terrible. Watery, almost no oat milk at all. Perhaps a new barista with no experience? I have had good lattes here in the past.
