Great service and caring staff. Arrived early and we were seen right away. Dr. Whitney examined a very unhappy older cat thoroughly with assistance by her vet tech.She offered choices of treatment for joint issues including cost comparison and efficacy of those choices. I appreciated the information to make a decision that would be best for my pet.

We got our pup during a difficult time in the local Vet community when Kingdom Animal Hospital was established leaving only two independently owed small animal practices locally. The remaining practices including Danville Animal Hospital had to turn many people away. Luckily, our pup was already a patient there! Despite how incredibly busy they were we always got the care Charlie needed and never felt as though we were an inconvenience.At Charlie's annual exam last year we enrolled into a care plan that turned out to be disastrous but Danville Animal were proactive and reached out to clients to come up with another arrangement. This years annual exam was super easy for both us and our pup.Everyone is always super helpful & kind and I feel like their prices are fair. No hidden or surprising fees.

We love Danville Animal Hospital. We started going here when fostering a dog, until she passed away. We have continued with our current adopted dogs and have only had positive experiences. Each member of the staff truly cares for the animals and they are all so good with them. Dr. Lisa Whitney is knowledgeable, patient, realistic and not pushy. Service is always friendly and speedy: our two-dog appointment lasted a total of 20 minutes (including shots).Everything we could hope for in a veterinarian for our pets.

Dr. Lisa Whitney and her staff display exceptional professionalism - and their genuine concern for the animals and empathy for those who love the animals are extraordinary. My 15-year-old cat suddenly became extremely ill. Their prompt diagnosis allowed Bandit and I time to share - with my other cat - before having to say good-bye. I have grown up with and had pets my entire life (and I'm near 60). This is the best veterinarian and vet staff I have ever encountered.

There are very caring, understanding, accommodating and supportive staff at this facility. The Vet(s) and the rest of the staff there treated my kitty and his ongoing issues very well through to the end, as well as supporting me and my decisions regarding his care. This all started with me calling them on a whim, when my little boy was beginning to have some big problems. They hadn't seen us before, but they took us in immediately and did what they could. We had numerous visits and checkups, all with some different meds and treatments attempted, some with good short-term results and no misconceptions of not knowing what was going on with him. (He was a rare case. Everybody could test for and rule out what it wasn't, but nothing lined up for what it was. They TRIED.)And though, after being eventually referred by them to higher level specialists and care once they had exhausted their experience and diagnostic abilities (and after paying 5 times as much for the specialists' single visit, with no more answers and less result) I brought my siamese baby back to them. They did everything right.And I was both touched and saddened when I got a condolence card in the mail afterward with my kitties footprint on it. I hadn't expected that, but everybody that had seen him there had written something, and those little details matter to those who are at a loss.If I ever decide to have another special kitty in my life again, I would reach out to them for help, for sure.In fact, I did reach out to them for another kitty situation later (not mine, but still personal) and they were more than helpful, yet again.
