The staff at The Genny Craftsbury are always kind, helpful and friendly. They greet you as you enter, offer assistance with shopping, help carry heavy items out, even order special requested items (if they can get them). They just go all out with customer service (which we just don't see enough of anymore).I would also recommend trying some of their amazing food. The baked ziti and mac-n-cheese are our favorites.Thank you Genny, you're greatly appreciated.

This store has the second best baked goods and homemade sandwiches in Vermont!!!! The only place better is the same owners 10 minutes north in Albany "gennys". Unbelievable

Great assortment of first class food and sundries. The “build your own”sandwiches are delicious -especially the avocado, tomato and tofu on whole grain bread. The staff is attentive and friendly- Sunny is a sheer delight and lovely. Picnic benches are available outside to eat lunch. Perfect place to stop for a good meal. A must!

As quintessential “general stores” don’t get much better than this one! It is the place to get the local news from around the area, fill a growler with local beer, find Heady Topper(!), get delicious breakfast burritos cooked fresh on the grill, get fresh produce, local meats, cheese...I could go on. This place is great.

Literally everything is good there! And affordable. Everything is homemade!I personally love the beef sandwich with the mushrooms. Oh also the peanut butter bar is amazing.You can also find a lot of local products at a good price.And you have another one in Albany, VT

Saweeeeeeeeet! This place is great. We came through on a ride and found Delicious sandwiches (try the bahn mi) and support friendly people. Lovely little picnic area too enjoy the amazing food.

Hidden Jewel! Looks like one of many general stores from the outside, but has FIRST RATE food. Had excellent pizza and an Italian with capicola, Mortadella, salami and ham that was worthy of NYC.Great selection. You won't be disappointed.

What an absolute GEM this store is!! Everything you may need, all under one roof. Friendly, helpful staff, too. We got lunch there today, sandwiches were SO GOOD, and you will not find better prices for lunch. Definitely a big highlight in our stay in Craftsbury.

Nice general store with a range of foods, snacks, produce and bottles. Appeals to visitors and those with more disposable income. The quality matches the prices and the staff are very nice indeed. Fun to visit for all ages.

What an amazing diamond in the rough. Amazing homemade food and decent prices on most of their groceries as the only convenience store in Albany. The service and people are always so friendly and great. Not to mention Genny has played a huge part in the war on hunger as this little store had helped me and my friends in our time of unemployment partaking in the everyone eats program. I highly suggest the Vito, salumi, smashburger, and poutine. Don't forget to try their yummy desserts!

A great little place to pick up necessities. Fairly comprehensive selection of small grocery and local/gourmet products including beer, wine, cheese, meats, and veggies. The deli is also very good, with weekly international specialty meals available. A little pricey for some items, but a solid selection and friendly, helpful staff. Good coffee too. A good place to run into your neighbors and have a chat.

During my summer in Craftsbury the general store was one of my favorite spots. Great vegan options like their bahn mi! Plus they feature local artists, I got a beautiful set of earrings there. I'd recommend this store to anyone!

Such nice and honest people. Good food and atmosphere. The gentlemen who opened the store a few weeks ago on a Sunday during a storm was very nice and helpful when my car broke down. He was the only one in town willing to help me. Telling all my friends ❤️

Terrific grocery store and takeout foods. My grilled cheese sandwich was fantastic, plump with great Vermont cheese. Staff was working hard with the continual arrival of local customers. Easy to find on Hwy. 14 and just south of Craftsbury Common - another wonderful place to stop and take a break from driving through a beautiful region of Vermont.

Delicious take out sandwiches! Highly recommend the BLT and the Bahn Mi. Ordering through the takeout window was quick and easy. Had lunch at the picnic tables set up outside. Fun to wait on the front porch while people swing through!

Emily, the owner has done a marvelous job over the years creating this little gem of a typical upscale Vermont general store. From bulk foods to gourmet in store prepared ready to eat meals and around the world changing specials over special drinks and burger nights on the patio, it's a location not to be missed if you're cruising around in the North East Kingdom of Vermont. You get a regular breakfast sandwich just as easy as a great selection of beers and wines alongside local meats, cheeses and not to forget the dozens of pizzas that are churned out from the pizza deck or the huge tasty grinders, wraps or sandwiches....just do yourself a favor and go.

The Craftsbury General Store catered our wedding and our experience was nothing short of exceptional! Emily took all of the time I needed and answered all of my questions. She was patient and kind. The food was phenomenal, hot and ready on time. The catering staff were professional and helpful. I would recommend these ladies to anyone planning an event!

From skincare to bread, beer, cheese, meats, veggies, baked goods, jewelry, this store is proud to support it's local crowd. The food offerings are varied, fresh and tasty.
