Very nice people, full service for pets. They have everything you could possibly want for animals. Thoughtful and well organized and know everybody by their first name. They do a great job at trimming are dogs long nails. Can think of a better place to go for your pet.

I am so grateful for Chelsea Animal Hospital. Our dog had skin and eye issues for years and no vet could figure out a way to help her. Chelsea Animal Hospital, though, figured out a holistic solution, and our dog hasn't had an issue with it since we began working with them. I am so grateful for the time they take to really get to know us and our dogs. They are truly spectacular people and professionals.

I started going to Chelsea Animal Hospital soon after it opened by Julie Krasne -I have stayed with CAH from then until now - Dr Ann is Great! Her patience (with me!) is notable and her attention to details and offering options about how to treat some issue, and many more things...Even when i moved out of state for a bit, I drove over to CAH with my dog - when you find a good Dr, an above average Dr, you don't want to try to find a different Dr

Excellent care, lovely staff, fair prices, beautiful space. I'm so grateful for this full service holistic veterinary practice in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire! Just about 30 minutes from Lebanon, it's well worth the drive!

I used to bring my dog to this vet. When I was there, the people were always friendly enough and I never had an unpleasant interaction with the staff. However, there are three experiences that I need to share and the reason why I no longer, and will never, bring my dog back there.1) My dog has had stomach issues for most of her life, she is currently 10, the issues started when she was around 3 or 4. Occasionally, she would go through bouts of diarhea and vomiting bile. When brought to the attention of the vet, we did blood tests and stool tests and found nothing, it was brushed off with a shoulder shrug and the cycle continued. Last year, I brought my dog to a different vet after a more intense bout of the stomach issues, and they said it sounded like IBD and acid reflux. With a diet change and 1 pill, the problem has been drastically reduced.2) My in laws who lived out of town have a dog who went down a step and damaged a disc. When this happened, it rendered her back legs unusable and was on medication from another vet to help with the pain and to help her rest. When they made it up here to visit, we suggested they take her to Chelsea to see what they could do about it. When they got there with their dog, and after a long conversation, they were told to either live with her not being able to walk or euthanize her. They brought her back home, did research and got in touch with a hydrotherapy place for dogs and got a set of wheels for her as well. Even though not perfect, after a couple months of hydrotherapy, she is able to walk, run and play almost completely normally.3) This happened today (9/23/19). My father had a dog who was fine when everyone left the house this morning. When someone got home around 4:45, the dog was very sick and not doing well at all. They called Chelsea to get her in in a rush to take care of her and their response was that they closed in 15 minutes and they wouldn't make it, knowing the situation the dog was in. After calling another vet and getting her in, they got her in the car and started bringing her to the appointment. she didn't make it.Time and time again they have failed my family. Something as little as a little extra research into an issue could have gone a long way to help two of the three situations, and after living all three of these scenarios, I will never be able to trust that my pets are getting the best care available.

I was recommended to go here by Onion River Animal Hospital because I prefer holistic approaches to my dogs' health, and I feed them a raw-food diet. I did not like this practice and I would not go back. The vet was not responsive to my concerns. They did not listen when I told them specifically that my dog was not interested in food when she was scared. They still made me try to feed her treats while they were doing something else around her backside, instead of helping her calm down with some calming touches I had practiced with her. In fact, the vet was kind of short in telling me to hold treats in front of my dog's face (which the dog does NOT like when she is scared). The vet did NOT seem aware of anything like the Certified Fear-Free practices that I love about ORAH.Also, I asked about natural pet medicine books that I saw on HER bookshelves, which I had also been using as guides for care, and she seemed absolutely unknowledgeable about them. Like she didn't even know they existed and had never heard of them, even though they were right there! She also tried to discourage me from making my dogs food or cleaning their feeding bowls properly (which I obviously do every day, because it's raw meat!), because SHE didn't do so, because she "has a life." (A) Why is it any concern of hers how I spend my time? If I want to scrub them for an hour each, it's none of her business! (B) So, I don't have a life because I take the time and effort to care for my dogs in this way? Why did she feel it was okay to make this passive-aggressive comment?Neither the vet nor the support staff are friendly or welcoming. Too bad, because it didn't seem like they were a booming practice.

This is the ONE vet we trust to take care of our animals.Incredibly knowledgeable staff, and they sincerely care for the well-being of your pets. They keep you informed, are honest with what options you have available, and are very straight-forward.

Vets and staff are fantastic. Knowledgeable and a wonderful demeanor. Even my rescue dog who has a hard time with new people does really well there.

I have been using this clinic for all my pet care for over 20 years. The Vetrinarians are well informed, compassionate and thorough. I always recieve a full discussion about my pet's health care needs and a full list of treatment options.I have had dogs for all my life. I use to find that their bedding needed to be washed weekly because of " doggy odor." I learned that this is most likely related to diet. With some careful discussion with Dr Carroll, she recommended a chinese herb to supplement my nutrition program and voila, no more doggie odor!!

Had no interest in helping us even though our dog was injured. I would not recommend this place nor would I ever take my animal there. All concerned about weather we were already a patient or not.
