Incredible food, wonderful selection of goods, and friendly vibe that is welcoming to all. I brought my young son with me and they could not have been more kind, personable, flexible and accommodating. Highly recommend supporting this great business under fantastic new management.Also - note to all - owners cannot remove reviews provided during a time of previous management. This venue would be 4.9+. stars if you limited reviews to those provided of the store since management changed.

WONDERFUL coffee! Burrito and breakfast sandwich were good quality and enjoyable. Plenty of goods to browse over after you place your order. Nice sock selection as well! You can never have too many Darn Tough socks!

I took a ride from South Burlington to checkout what had happened to the brick store in the middle of Charlotte. I was pleasantly surprised. Jolene has done great job of modernising the inside of the store.You can find a real variety of merchandise.I picked up a wonderful hardcover book on Iranian cooking and the life story of the author, and they carried my favorite milk.I had an interesting vegetarian sandwich, really tasty and tried my first cup of Matcha.I will certainly go back to try other things

A handy stop on my way to sail. Great cookies! Decent sandwiches, although limited in selection. I’d recommend to the new owner a few key things: add chicken salad recipes to your menu, add or increase your potato salad stock on weekends, and you should refrigerate a nice selection of your white wines.

I work down the street at Charlotte Children's Center - we recently had an inservice and The Old Brick Store catered our lunch! The food was delicious and communication was swift and clear! From start to finish, the process was easy!

My mother and I were on a trip and ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches at around 10:30 AM. We picked them up at 11am. We both went to go get a coffee and they had a small variety of coffees. In which did not include decaf, as my mother was looking for. She requested gluten free bread, but said it was very toasted. With my sandwich it didn’t look like much care or time was put into it either because the entire bottom side of my sandwich was stale. Even with the egg juices and butter it turned into play dough. Let alone we paid 7.50-8 dollars for these sandwiches. 2 scrambled eggs and maaaaybe 2 pieces of bacon. Never in my life have I had to payed for two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees for $20. Which is what it came to. Let alone I will reiterate both our sandwiches were very subpar. If you want to keep an old quaint antique deli together. Get on top of actually making a decent sandwich if you’re going to charge the prices you have to.

We met the owner Whitney she has a put together a really nice place. It has tons of stuff and they make to go food(real actual food). Wine beer candy and the building is amazing inside. We found Austrian wine there!!!

New management is awful. Went in yesterday for a sandwich after not being back in town for a few years. Menu was pretty much “pick the least worst sandwich.” My GF asked if she can make a custom sandwich. Owner said “you can make one at home” after being extremely condescending already when we asked if they had tuna salad for our grandmother.Overpriced options. Undervalued customers.

Food is good, but dramatically overpriced and the menu and availability of things is wildly inconsistent. I work nearby and this is the only place to get lunch, and it becomes very frustrating when they regularly refuse to serve pizza because of the temperature of the day, or fail to make premade sandwiches due to what often appears to just be negligence.

Sweet spot for coffee, delicious baked goods and breakfast treats, and grocery essentials - grab-and-go or linger on their sunny front porch. Staff is friendly and helpful. We always stop off here when visiting the area and are never disappointed!

this marvelous corner store is a delightful place to visit. Top quality groceries (couldn't find a pantry item they didn't stock) and a deli that features all on-site crafted foods; delicious bakery items, smoothies, custom organic coffees, salads, sandwiches only-made-to-order. ~ All delicious !~The young new owner is making every effort to buy locally and organic. She has a 'wall of wine' that covers the full gamut and a wide range of beers to suit folks who seem to range in style from tradesmen & farmers to vacationing dignitaries.I watched as folks came in the door and all paused to appreciate the open, friendly, thoughtfully arranged atmosphere. A real Vermont Gem!

Quick and easy access to this local store that has good coffee, various sundries and a small kitchen for take our breakfast & sandwiches. Almost required when going to/from the ferry. Highly recommended!

This store has been around forever. It has changed hands a couple of times. The new owners are doing a good job keeping it fresh . The breakfast sandwiches in the morning are excellent. I recommend calling ahead and ordering the breakfast sandwiches as it can get busy at that time .

Their pastries are AMAZING... On weekends they make the finest cinnamon bun in the WORLD... and their scones melt in your mouth!!! Best go early because they often run out!!!!!! Simply spectacular!

One of the best bacon egg and cheese sandwiches in Vermont! Had it with very crispy bacon, avocado and chipotle mayo on a whole-grain toast. Their pastries are out of this world - scones and cinnamon rolls are outrageous!!!!

Such a great little spot. I remember being impressed my first time there by its charm and full cafe. We stop there every time we vacation to get sandwiches and coffee for the ferry ride. Such a gem.

Just off the ferry from Essex NY with hungry, cranky husband and panting dog. Red Brick provided EXCELLENT salads and sandwiches and that cozy country feel you desire in rural Vt. Also very warm staff. Seating inside and out...perfect stop.

The Old Brick store has some really tasty breakfast and lunch fare, fresh made. Their location at the top of the hill on Ferry Rd in Charlotte, VT, makes for the perfect stop.Everytime I am in Vermont, I make it a point to stop thru and order the turkey/bacon sandwhich. Yum!

Love this place’s sandwiches, etc - but just CALL them to see if they’re open. Their website is innacurate; Google probably not right either. Don’t waste your time driving to find their hours posted on a sign outside.
