Viewed the Eclipse here on April 8th. Was a beautiful spot. There is a playground. And an area with picnic tables and grills to prepare a cookout by Lake Champlain.

Beautiful, quiet, worth the fee to park and rest awhile. Picnic tables, public restroom, walk down to the rocky beach and gaze over at the Adirondacks

One of my favorite places to go to in the fall and winter. It’s a extremely peaceful place to have lunch on the rocks

We have been here several times and enjoyed it each time. Fairly rocky, with smooth stones covering most of the area, one can walk around with sandals or shoes. NOT a sandy beach, by any means. One's experience here largely depends on the water level, but regardless, views of the Adirondacks are spectacular. Not sure of fee structure for residents or non-residents, but a worthwhile trip, nonetheless.

A wonderful place to spend an evening! We watched the sunset with just a handful of folks! So quiet and peaceful!

Beautiful location to sit for lunch after a visit to Shelburne market. Picnic tables and benches both in the park as well as red on the lake playground further up in the woods. Plenty of parking small fee if you're a non-resident.

The park staff have done a good job at setting things up so that people can be distanced while enjoying the park. Everything is really clean and the facilities are open. The park has a beautiful view of the lake and the Adirondacks. It is a great place to enjoy a sunset.

The views are beautiful, but the locals break their own rules by bringing their dogs at all hours (and into the water) and blocking huge sections of the beach for the entire day. I love dogs, but if you're going to ban them on this beach and park area, then everyone should be held accountable, Karen.I'll take a real beach on the ocean any day over this, but the sunsets are worth a stop.

While the beach part is a little lacking. Great play area and a field. Has three nice tennis courts. Along with picnic tables and charcoal grills.

Please note that he information regarding dogs has been updated. Dogs are NOT allowed. Sorry but we have too many children running around to add dogs to the mix. Thank you

I don't know that I would really consider this a "beach" it's a bit too rocky and not much of an area to rest in (also rocky). But if that is what you're looking for it might be worth checking out I'm sure it would be great for going out on a boat also.

Calm and breezy. It's just a beautiful place to view New York State across Lake Champlain.

A really nice place to hang out! Lots of picnic tables and wooden stairs by the water. The parking lot is pretty big, and there’s also a nice playground and grassy field.

Beautiful spot with expansive views of Lake Champlain and the 'Daks. Shallow water makes for a great place for kids to splash in but not the best place for adults looking to enjoy deep water.

Gorgeous views! Great place for photos year round, water activities in the summer, or a fun picnic!! Across the street from a huge playground for the kids! Great place to go!

Beach was nice... people were unfortuately not! Guests and employees had a very pretentious attitude and were downright rude to non-Charlotte residents. People kept asking us if we were from Charlotte and proceeded to speak unkindly and demeaningly towards us when we said we were not. There are plenty of other great beaches in the area so we feel no need to come back to Charlotte Beach.

They have a really great playground for kids. But there's no beach, it's really rocky and hard to walk into the water. Not the best beach for kids..

Real rocky but absolutely lovely with plenty of picnic tables for a bite to eat and killer views of the Adirondacks. Nominal parking fee.

Not bad, kind of wish the "beach" area was a little more kid friendly, the playground area could of been mowed better and bathrooms were something straight out of a Jason movie.

Lovely place to sit, chat and enjoy the scenery. The traffic was rather too fast. This is our go to quiet place.

Clean and well kempt, always be careful. But if you like sitting on the beach, it certainly works
