Friendly,clean, nice environment. Coffee was gross and the donuts were over priced and was even worst then the coffee. Will have to try the deli when we get brave.

I stop in here once a week when passing through the area and usually get a prepared sandwich. I’ve had the turkey/cheddar, pastrami on marble rye and recently the thanksgiving leftovers sandwich and they were all equally amazing! Thanks Jess for the fantastic sandwiches and wonderful store.

Absolutely love this little store! I can always find what I need when I stop in. Their deli food is amazing as are the prices. I tried a deli sandwich tonight and was over the moon with happiness. Plenty of toppings from start to finish. I will definitely be going back more often.

Now that the village store in Woodbury is closed I needed to find a new place to get my coffee and occasional breakfast sandwich. So farm I am very impressed with this place. The floors could use some work, but the staff is very friendly and they have a good selection of just about everything you need to get by. I'd be a little happier if the craft beer selection was a little more robust, but they do have a variety of craft brews to choose from compared to most other small-town general stores in the area. They also have punch cards for both coffee and breakfast sandwiches and you get double punches on Mondays!

This store is such a valuable part of the East Calais community. Whether you live around here or are just passing through, this store is so handy to have! I've come to count on the fact that whatever I need, the General Store probably has it. Their hours are convienent too, opening really early, which is a blessing in such a rural place.
