Worst service ever! - one star is even too much - from the store assistant manager Issac (if he did not lie about his name, I had to ask him 3 times as he did not want to give it to me)when I walked in, I said hi and he did not even look at me. Every time I asked a question (price check, info etc) he looked annoyed as if I distracted him from more important things... When I told him that a smile would be nice, he took offense and when I showed up at the cash to pay, he obviously ignored me and passed all other customers before us, even if they just showed up at the cash... he did that on purpose.Good that Peter was there and was super nice, if it was not for him I would have let my 350$ purchase there.

I had the same experience as someone else already commentedAbsolutely awful. As soon as we walked in the store the guy said “are you gonna buy anything, because if not I’m gonna have to ask you to leave...” worst service I’ve ever seen. The MANAGER wasn’t even wearing a mask. This store deserves to be closed down Immediately!

This was our third stop on our way to locate life jackets, flares, rollers and other small things for our boat. We were weary at first because we though that west marine would be super expense. However, I was very surprised at how affordable everything was. We were greeted by the staff and a wonderful lady named Sylvia came over and helped us find everything we need. We definitely will be back!

Not just the worst boat store, this is the worst retail store...ever. This store rarely has what I need, and it's not just Covid related. I've been frustratingly going there for years. And I go there for there for standard stuff...spark plugs for a Mercury outboard, nav light bulbs, etc. The store Manager (older guy) has the worst customer skills I've ever experienced. In response to questions I've asked, I've been challenged and chastised by him. There is an ACE hardware store in Colchester (Bibens) that is a much better boat supply store. They always have what I need. and the staff is polite and knowledgeable. I go there exclusively now. I'll never again step foot in the S. Burlington West Marine store.

Staff was helpful. Store was a little picked over with a lot of empty shelves, particularly the water toys. Perhaps that is to be expected at the beginning of a season in which boat buying has peaked.

The store is a little small, but they tend to have what I need. As always the prices at West Marine are usually more expensive than other places. However, I don't always have the luxury of waiting for a delivery. The store is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The staff were very nice, but their inventory is super limited. Went there to buy... A tube and/or water skis, a tow rope, a gas syphon or funnel, and life jackets.I walked out empty handed. They had one tube which was made by them and rated poorly online. No skis. No tow rope even. No syphons or funnels. And they did have some life jackets but not the kind I was looking for.Had a nice chuckle with the girl who worked there saying "We'll chalk it up to Covid." No wonder ecommerce is killing retail *shrug*

Drove 1.5 hrs to come to the store only to find it closed on Sundays and Mondays due to staffing issues. How about updating your website?West Marine you are dead to me!!!!!!!

Disappointed with the lack of knowledge from the staff pertaining to engine parts when I called on the phone (from Montpelier) and was told "yeah, we have those here just not sure if we have your model". Nary a single part (of any model) that I needed . They were kind, mostly, the guy at the front desk I could have done without. But the young lady there greets you with a beautiful smile on the way in and out. Made it a little better.

We were visiting from out of town and looking for fishing equipment/bait. 4 employees sitting at the counter and not one asked us if we needed help. We asked for assistance and still couldn’t get help. I would think a marine store that has fishing equipment listed and comes up as a “bait shop” would be at least a little helpful.

Went to this store hoping to find a nautical themed gift. It didn't seem like there was that large of a selection. The store felt unorganized and the one guy who worked there didn't seem to friendly.

Walked in to look for fenders for our new pontoon boat plus a few other accessories. There were 2 associates in the store neither one asked if we needed help. After asking about the bumpers the associate pointed and walked off. As a store manager myself I would of put them both on notice.
