Flannels here are really high quality. Kept me warm with a light layer underneath on a brisk 30F day. Staff was really understanding when we had a headband that fit a bit too snug. They exchanged it for us without any questions. This place was recommended to us by some relatives and it certainly lives up to the hype.

These are the softest flannels I have ever touched. I’m only giving it 4 stars because they didn’t have 3xl in stock. You would figure they would have lumber jack sizes.

First and foremost, this company makes a good product. Their flannels are super soft and the fitted Mediums are the perfect size for me. I have been to the Burlington location twice. The reason for 3 stars is the staff attitude on my second visit. Our first visit was fine and the staff was very helpful. Our second visit (early January 2023)...it is almost like the staff did not want my wife and I in the store. I think a good word to describe the attitude of the girl behind the counter is aloof...not overtly rude but bordering on it. The way my questions were answered was short and curt...like the staff (specifically the girl behind the counter) couldn't be bothered provide more than 1 sentence, short almost confusing answers.Anyway, great shirts...but some of the staff could use some customer service training. Also, it can be difficult to tell the difference between men and women's shirts and their placement in the store.

Product is pricey but you have to pay for quality and for a large American made component. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful and inventory was great even if this location is a bit smallish due to being on church street.

Excellent little store! It can get tight in there if you're in town on a Sunday. Most people weren't masked, but that seems to be the general vibe everywhere now.The flannels are expensive-- no denial of that. But, they're well worth the money. They're warm, soft, comfortable, and every one is just a tad different. I purchased two fitted flannels and one is a little tighter around the cuffs than the other, but both are comfortable.I also bought a few items from here as gifts for people and they were all hits. Who doesn't love a flannel or a flannel blanket? This will be my one stop shop for anything flannel I purchase in the future.

I absolutely fell in love with this shop. Although, it has tight quarters there was so much to see and had a great selection. The blankets are soft and cozy. The shop has a homey feel to it.. great service.

A company with a heart and soul.. In late November my mother who is a Vermonter and a fan and promoter of your products was diagnosed with cancer and began chemo treatments at UVM medical. Through her treatments she has bought with her a blanket from The Vermont Flannel Co and has commented throughout that “this is the only comfortable thing in my world right now” . Last week while she was having a procedure done and was out of her room the blanket was lost, the hospital could not locate it and were not sure if it was just lost in the laundry but were apologetic it could not be located. I have traveled from Arizona to be with my mother and being away from home and my own children through the Hollidays had created a financial and mental hardship hard to explain but I did simply not have the money to replace my mothers loved blanket.I emailed to relay this story and to see if there was maybe a discount or something they could offer to help have this replaced. I was so grateful and amazed when a response came from Emily that there was no discount …. No discount because the company wanted to provide my mother a new blanket at no cost and arranged one to be picked up in Burlington.. this truly made me break down and in fact I am in tears writing this now..So grateful to such amazing people and this truly is an amazing blanket ..

Not only does Vermont Flannel have amazing, top quality products, but the Burlington store has helpful and wonderful staff. They're always ready and willing to answer any questions. We love visiting this location, and always make sure to stop by when we are on Church Street. It's impossible to walk out of there without a new shirt, blanket, scrunchy, or something for the dogs!

Owned their shirts for 10+ years, some get hard use. Hiking for weeks, hunting for weeks. The pockets need to be repaired often, and the buttons fall off often with hard use. Replace their thread with Kevlar thread when you need to mend the shirts, and they'll last a long time. I have a red and black flannel that hiked almost all the AT with me, and its still passable on public.they make quality cloths, and great blankets.-1 for the political BS they adhere to in the store. Good cloths otherwise.

New obsession (healthy!) Paid a visit to the Burlington store today - a great selection of flannel items. The flannel is thick and cozy, it feels so luxurious on your skin- the colors are very vivid and even the buttons are customized for Vermont Flannel. My daughter and I both got the flannel stripe leggings and a flannel top to match. I will always support products Made in the USA- thank you Vermont Flannel Co.

We came in here for a browse while in Burlington, this is conveniently located on Church Street near all of the others shops and restaurants.The store is quite small, but they pack a decent amount of items in there.I can see how a lot of these items would be amazing to have in the harsh Vermont winters. I live in South Florida, so I don't need heavy clothing, but the fleece and flannel lined stadium blanket would be amazing to have for around the house! I think it was priced at $59.Another great item they sell is flannel pajama pants, so soft and cozy! There are a nice assortment of various flannel products, they also carry items like shirts and robes.Prices are a little on the high side, but the quality does look nice. They do have a bigger retail establishment outside of the city.This would be a great place to get a Christmas gift for someone.

I'm extremely disappointed that they discontinued the women's fitted. It fit me perfectly and unfortunately I had gotten one of the women's fitted in the perfect size as a Christmas gift that I wanted to exchange for different color and then told me they no longer make it :( however that the staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful, I own a few of blankets now and the nightgown. Very good quality very warm highly recommended. Hopefully they will bring back the women's fitted!

Bought a pair of pants here earlier this year for colder weather, it already developed holes after a few months of infrequent wear. Considering a pair of $15 pajama pants from Walmart would last at least a year, buying from Vermont Flannel is not worth it. The employee seemed very grumpy and unenthusiastic.

I like supporting local and have given VT Flannel PJ's as xmas gifts for years, but not again. This store is tiny and cramped, and it's impossible to social distance. The staff make no attempt to do so or to encourage it among customers. The fact that their website has almost everything "sold out" despite shelves on Church St overflowing with product tells me they are deliberately pushing people into the store. If you think Covid is just a big plot to rob your liberty, then this may be the experience you're looking for. If you believe in science and that we should prevent people dying, even if they are old and weaker than you, then I would avoid this store like...well, like the plague.

First, get yourself some pajama bottoms. Better than sweatpants! Second, my experience of the Burlington store is that they were early adopters of the anti-Covid regimen and practices. It's a small store and nothing can change that, but it seems very safe. Just stay 6 feet away!

Wow!! Awesome goods and selections. I visited this store on my summer trip and fell in love with my flannel throw over.The staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely have something great going for the 5 stores they have in the state.

Went to the store looking forward to checking out what they had. They were 20 minutes late opening up and when we got to the door the guy working there gave my wife and I a dirty look before we had even walked in. He clearly didn't want any customers, which is fine - we didn't feel like buying anything there after experiencing him either
