Gwen is terrific. She listened to our dogs needs and perfectly delivered in their haircut. Larry (light one) was a bit more matted than I realized and she stayed later to finish him up. Both dogs were super happy and comfortable in her shop. I love that she doesn’t crate them. They are little hurricanes but she handled them wonderfully.

Hands down best dog groomer in Vermont! Truly in awe at how amazing Gwen is at creating a warm, calm, and happy environment at Queen City Paw Spa. My pup Sadie was always anxious with previous groomers but is completely different with Gwen- she is literally wagging her tail the whole time! What I love most is Gwen’s holistic approach in fostering your pups tolerance threshold and never ever pushing past their comfort level. She is quite literally a dog whisperer and we are so lucky to have found her- not to mention Sadie has never looked (or smelt) better :)

We couldn't be more happy with Gwen as the person who is caring for our Ulie-Bell!! Ulie is a big girl 90Lbs, and can be a little nervous when having her spa day due to other groomer practices. Ulie warmed up to Gwen so quickly and just loves spending time with her. Gwen listened to our requests and also Ulies struggles. She has never pushed her or stressed her to obtain some things she did not feel comfortable with. Since Ulie has started seeing Gwen, we have gone from her hiding between her legs when it was time to be groomed to now whenever we mention Gwen's name, she gets all excited. Thank you Gwen for loving our little girl!!

Gwen is a pro and our go-to for all things related to our dog. We adopted a dog that had difficulty adjusting, and Gwen was incredibly helpful in calming her for her grooming, as well as also providing daycare for her for some of her appointments in which we could not pick her up for a few hours after. No waiting in cages or anything with Gwen, she might love your dog more than you do and will treat them like the royalty they are. Thanks for always taking such great care of our girl!

Highly recommend Queen City Paw Spa for all your pups grooming needs! Our sweet girl is very fearful of strangers but she loves going to see Gwen after just a few visits. We have had nails and bathes done but I would trust Gwen to give the best care with any service!

Gwen was so wonderfully caring and loving to my pup when we came to get his nails trimmed! My dog is not an easy client as he hates getting his nails trimmed, but Gwen did it expertly. Will definitely be returning for all my dog’s grooming needs!

Gwen groomed both my senior dogs, and I was very happy with the result.Piper is blind and diabetic and very uncooperative when she feels threatened.Charlie is a 15 year old miniature poodle with skin nodes.Gwen took lots of time getting to know the dogs. Their comfort and safety was her first priority and I deeply appreciated it! Both pups came back looking great. We are grateful to Gwen for her skill and her business ethic. Next time we will post pictures. Highly recommend.

Gwen is by far the best dog groomer we have ever had! We were having some problems finding a groomer that our dog was comfortable with. We went to quiet a few places and she would cower and hide behind me. But when we went here there was immediately a different vibe with my dog. And now I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pups. And another thing that I really like that Gwen does is that if the dog isn’t comfortable with something and is really not wanting to do it she will work with the dog till it’s comfortable with her and then they will work on it. And that was a big deal to me because my dog is literally like another child to me and she’s also my support animal so having someone that my dog absolutely loves is great! And my pups always looks amazing every time leaving so I would very much recommend coming here if your looking for a great groomer and also just a great person 😁

Gwen was so very pleasant, personable and welcoming on our first visit. She took extra care with our senior Shih Tzu and dealt with a few extra “surprises” (he was anxious:() like a champ! My son said he looked like a new dog:) I highly recommend Gwen and her services. You will be thoroughly delighted.

Queen City Paw Spa is the absolute best!! Gwen has been our go-to groomer since we met her last year. Our dog is very high maintenance and used to get anxious going to the groomer. He did a complete 180 when Gwen started grooming him. He gets so excited now to see her and comes back completely relaxed. She is always so patient with him and takes the time to make sure he’s comfortable during the grooming process. He comes home smelling amazing and looking so handsome. She always executes our vision for his groom perfectly. We’ve tried multiple other groomers in the area and can say without a doubt that Queen City Paw Spa is the best. Gwen is magic and we are so grateful for her!
