I have been going to Kinney Drugs in Burlington for several years now and have always been very pleased and impressed with the service I have received. Elizabeth, one of the pharmacists there, especially stands out, as she is consistently very kind and caring, knowledgeable, and professional. She also always makes makes me feel heard and understood, and devotes whatever time she needs to make that happen. As a fellow healthcare professional myself, I can wholeheartedly say that Elizabeth truly embodies the example of dedicated service to others we all wish to strive for!

I use this pharmacy and they are really great; responsive and always happy to help. Emily the tech and Elizabeth the pharmacist have taken time out of things they were working on to take care of my prescriptions; even though many times I have just popped in without sending them notice ahead to refill my prescriptions and they are always on point. If you're in this area check it out

I recently got my flu and covid vaccines here, and the experience was wonderful. Elizabeth did an amazing job of not only giving me the vaccines but also making me feel super comfortable throughout the whole (incredibly quick) process. Will definitely come back again. :)

The pharmacist and tech, Elizabeth and Emily are fantastic. So patient, calm, understanding and helpful. Both ladies are amazing assets to Kinney’s. They have difficult jobs that require so much and these ladies possess everything needed and much more to perform the job above and beyond. Thank you for all you are doing.

The Pharmacy Staff at Kinney Drugs on Shelburne Road in Burlington are Wonderful! They are always gracious and helpful, even when they are incredibly busy. This is a very busy pharmacy, and I do not envy them, it must be very stressful sometimes.Their Pharmacist, Elizabeth, is especially kind and helpful. She always has a smile on her face, and makes you feel like a valued customer. She is an absolute natural as a healthcare provider, and a huge blessing to the Pharmacy, and it’s clientele. 👍👍

My family has always had good experiences with the pharmacy at this Kinney. We’ve tried others in Burlington and this pharmacy is by far our favorite. Our go-to Pharmacist is Elizabeth who has gone out of her way to help my wife with allergy medication issues and provided many other suggestions that have helped our family be more informed regarding medications.I understand other reviewer‘s frustrations with short staffing, but this is an issue not only at every pharmacy in our state, but all local businesses.

I recently received my flu shot here and the experience couldn’t have been more amazing! Super smooth and easy! The pharmacist that administered my shot was Elizabeth and she was so delightful! I’m not a huge fan of shots and she made me feel at ease! Extremely happy with my experience here and will be coming back!

I love this pharmacy and would recommend it to anybody who gets prescriptions. The pharmacist is always on top of things knows who you are while you're standing in line. They're always polite and understanding.LOVE THIS PLACE

I switched all my prescriptions here because they made it sound really good. I've been having a hard time getting one of them so they told me I could substitute it with 10mg that they had enough. They lied to me and my doctor. This is medication I really need for a disability I have and I feel like they just told me this to get my business. I'm pretty upset that Kinney did this. Kinney also told me they were gonna call me when my doctor sent the update script. And you know here I was upset with my doctor thinking they were ignoring me and it was this place the whole time.

Have loved this Kinney for 10+ years. They always have the makeup and birthday cards that I need when most stores in the Burlington area are out of stock or don’t even carry the basics. Today, I heard someone offer to pay the copay for an elderly person’s prescription. Don’t want to get anyone in trouble by saying who exactly paid for it - but it was an individual (versus Kinney itself). I’ve been holding back tears since I overheard the exchange. [We don’t need to go into how it’s a crime that elderly people in the wealthiest country in the history of mankind can’t afford their meds… I’d like to think we can all agree on that]. Anyway, I almost don’t want to post this because I’m nervous everyone else will go there and buy everything. But I have a feeling this Kinney will rise to such an occasion.

The staff are always there to help meet your needs. The shelves are always clean, organized with great sales to boot! I wish there was a grab and go section for a quick sandwich when you’re in a hurry or on the road.

I am posting publicly regarding my treatment by the pharmacy personnel at this Kinney Drugs. I am not yet 60, but I am immunocompromised. My doctor asked me to get the RSV vaccine, so I called this pharmacy to ask what I needed to do. I was told to get a letter from the doctor and then make an appointment online. I followed those instructions and took time off of work this afternoon to keep my 4:30 appointment for the vaccine. When I got there, they had me on the list for a vaccine but refused to give it to me, even with the letter from the doctor, because I am not 60. The first employee I spoke to-Betsey-said that there were two different RSV vaccines-one for those under 60 and one for those 60 and over and that the problem was that they didn't have the under 60 vaccine. I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager and was told he wasn't there. I asked Betsey to try to find out where I would go to get the vaccine if they didn't have it. She walked away and refused to help, smirked when another pharmacist said that he couldn't help, and when I commented on the smirking she accused me of harassing her and said, "You are on camera." Indeed I was, and so was she-a point she failed to take into consideration. Then the second employee, a young man, said the problem was not that there were two vaccines, but that they didn't know how to get the computer system to process the request for an under 60 vaccine. I even called the rheumatologist's office at UVM and had the rheumatology nurse speak directly to the young man to ask them what we needed to do to get me the vaccine. They refused to cooperate with her either. It became painfully obvious the longer the whole thing went on that these pharmacy employees simply didn't know what they were doing and were making it up as they went along.I have been living with an autoimmune condition since I was in my early 30's and have been vaccinated for every disease-even those for middle-aged and elderly patients since my diagnosis-always with a note from my doctor. I received all of my COVID vaccines, for example, before my age group was permitted to do so because I am immunocompromised. Betsey argued with me about my own vaccination and medical history as she insisted that I had not had any vaccinations ahead of schedule and did not know what I was talking about.Untrained, ignorant, and self-important pharmacy employees like Betsey do not get to override doctors, rheumatologists, and most importantly, patients who have a right to make their own medical decisions with their doctors without her interference. I do not expect to be threatened with harassment proceedings, told that I do not know my own medical history, and denied vaccinations that my doctor has ordered especially when I have gone to the trouble to call ahead to find out what the procedure is and been given incorrect information.I left a note for the pharmacy manager before I left and asked him to call me. I'll be curious to see if I hear from him.As the rheumatology nurse said to me, the unprofessionalism of the pharmacy employees and their unwillingness to help a patient was unbelievable and appalling and this pharmacy is well worth avoiding.

I have been trying to speak to someone in the pharmacy all day because I have a question about a medication. I have called multiple times and each time it rings and rings until I eventually end up back at the main menu (averaging about 10+ minutes of this cycle each time I call). I understand that everyone is busy, but you'd think I'd be able to reach someone in the when calling at various times throughout the day. Not impressed and considering switching pharmacies.

Bought 6 six packs of 16 oz Diet Pepsi last night 11/27/2022. Opened up a soda today after a 12 hr work day only to find it out dated. Diet soda is not any good 30 days past it’s recommended Use By Date . Got an E-Receopt last night when the register asked if I wanted my receipt printed or emailed. I chose email anyways I return the sodas today and ask them if I could get fresh sodas. After about 10 minutes of standing around with them thinking that some reason I’m there try to scam them for fresh sodas. Now they could’ve checked my phone number. They could’ve checked my Kenny’s card, because I could not find the receipt that was supposed to be emailed to me anyways, it’s offending when people come off do you like you’re trying to scam them. Why would I go to Kinney Drugs with outdated sodas when there’s 100 other stores I can go to. I went back to the store I bought them at I ended up having to just walk out of there and I let them keep the sodas I bought last night, I’m out 25 bucks. I went to Price chopper got fresh sodas, but I won’t go back to that store again.

AVOID!!! They have one employee, they can’t answer the phone, they won’t call you back if you leave a message with the retail front desk, they take days longer than any other pharmacy in town, they give you the wrong medication. This location needs to be shut down.

I go here for everything from Milk which is cheaper than the grocery store and the same brand, pharmacy, gifts, cards, soda and snacks. They have a huge cosmetics isle. The Kinney card has all the coupons in the card so no clipping coupons. They have almost everything you need.

I have been going to Kinney drug since they opened on Shelburne road. The staff is very friendly and courteous. I have emailed the manager on many occasion to tell him or her what a wonderful staff they have. I have been treated with great respect and they've been there to help me with everything. I also know several friends that continue going to Kinneys on Shelburne Road because of the great manager and staff. Keep it up .road due to the friendliness of the staff Just wanted everyone tnkney i it's a friendly drug store you're looking for Kenny's on Shelburne road is your place to go. Thank you for having such an awesome staff.

Just went into the Shelburne road Burlington location for a COVID shot. While waiting my 10-15 minutes after the shot I walked around the store. I took a picture of a toy to send to wife as a suggestion as a gift. The manager comes out from the back room and harasses me about taking pictures and roaming around. Very insulting. I let him know that I would never shop at a Kinney's ever again because of his actions and I won't. Appalling!

I went to this Kinney Drugs pharmacy, because it is near the local VA clinic and they direct us to pick up prescriptions there if they are something that cannot be filled in time by their mail order system.This local pharmacy and the pharmacist behind the counter I dealt with were very kind, and professional as I usually deal with another pharmacy and it was my first time, not sure of I would come again. (I think that I might possibly have filled another Rx here a few years ago?).I have stopped by to shop quickly for some beverages and cards. I did notice they had a few sale things that attracted my attention and sometimes I am drawn to a impulse purchase so I will say you can find some stuff besides the drugs at the pharmacy here. I don't read sales flyers, but if you do, maybe they have stuff advertising you to come in for buying that special deal, me- I just happened to be here and made an extra purchase. Prices were good, items were worth it, and I think I did ok.

I will never go back - went in yesterday and there were people walking around without a mask - a lady asked the manager why he served those people, as they would just come back without a mask again - he responded that he was not a cop and the rate of positives is very low.He totally missed the point, as a drug store is where vulnerable people go to get their prescriptions. I told him it was a mandate by the Governor, his response was - we will see for how long.I don't need a "no masker" MANAGING a drug store...
