Never had any issues with the pharmacy so if it was just them I’d give a higher rating. However all of the charges in the past few months/years have made the store go downhill. First off, it closes at 7 or 8pm, which I’ve never seen for a CVS. I wanted to run and grab something after work and couldn’t because by the time I was ready to head out it was closed. Then you have security. Last year I’d be followed around which made me very uncomfortable- I get they’re dealing with theft, but I haven’t done anything wrong and don’t want to be watched while I’m shopping. The security staff I’ve spoken to more recently are quite nice people but it’s the thought that counts. Then, if you want items, they’re probably going to be locked up. I’ve seen this for some items before, but never to this extent. Even if you just want a pint of ice cream you have to hit the call button. I also had to call someone for a pair of nail clippers that was under $5.Finally, today I bought an item and after leaving realized the best by date was November 1, 2023. I know the best by dates are somewhat flexible and it was a freezer item, but still- it’s March 1, 2024. And it wasn’t like I could look at it from the freezer because I had to get an employee who then escorted it to checkout.Overall, it’s just really frustrating. I get companies are trying to cut their losses from theft but at this point it’s turning me away too. I used to enjoy making quick stops here when I needed just an item or two but now I’ll just go to a supermarket.

This is the worst CVS pharmacy I've ever been to. They've run out of my medications twice now. Even though I've filled it regularly for 2+ years, I take it daily, and I can't eat without it. This last time, it was "pending in a warehouse" for 3 weeks, and they didn't know who to call or who was responsible for getting it filled. After going without food for a week, I called Walgreens, who had it filled the next day. Meanwhile, they're trying to fill a prescription. I've said I don't take at least 10 times. CVS said they have a new policy to not keep in stock expensive or rare medications, which unfortunately translates to patients not getting what they need to survive. Negligence if you ask me. I won't be back to this CVS pharmacy. (The store is fine)

Store is overcrowded, dirty, and always smells at best un fresh or really bad. Intoxicated customers come in smelling like booze, and cigarettes. Carpeted floors in such a high traffic spot are filthy. Shelves are not well stocked. Pharmacy staff will: 1.) Waste your time, 2.) Ask you for confidential details like the name of your RX in front of customers 3.) Talk to you rudely from across the pharmacy, 4.) Tell you your RX's need to be ordered and never be able to provide an ETA. Do yourself a favor and go with literally any other pharmacy.

What an unfortunate visit to CVS. When asking for help a worker told us off and said “do not talk me”. We then had to ask the pharmacy persons and they did not know how to help. The same person walked by again and muttered under his/her breath. It’s unfortunate how unhelpful and rude that worker was. Extremely disappointed. I would not ask the person with long pink hair for assistance if visiting this location.

6.55 pm Saturday 12/2 nd 64 year old hearing disabled Hispanic female escorted out of the store. My 38 years old daughter self checked a Package of theraflu and she was asked for her ID.At time of presenting the ID the manager in charge requested my ID since I was standing next to her.I didn’t have it with me but I was only checking out a bar of chocolate .According to the manager the store policy requires everyone to present an ID.I tried to explain that I am 64 and I’m buying a chocolate !He proceeded to REMOVE THE CHOCOLATE FROM MY HANDS AND CALLED SECURITY.I tried to go and get another bar but I was denied my right to buy itParadoxically my daughter WAS DISPENSED THE THERAFLU so basically the store manager either broke “the store policy “ or Simply PUNISHED A HEARING SENIOR DENYING HER TO BUYA CHOCOLATE AND EMBARRASSING IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS .

Pharmacy scheduled to open at 9am. I arrive at 9:05am and they ask me to wait another 10 minutes until they get the drawer set up.

Never been to a pharmacy that doesn’t have medication ready when prescriptions have been in for at least a day. Then told wait would be 15-20 more like an hour at least he honest about the time I wouldn’t care if it was just be upfront about it instead of wasting my time.

The employees are very mean and agressive. The girl at the cashier treated me like I was retarded and made a scene in front of everyone screaming on me. That’s an unacceptable behavior!

Had to wait 15 minutes to access deodorant behind locked doors. Ridiculous service. Not the workers fault but the corporation for not staffing appropriately. At what point does lowering the bottom line compromise customer service???

I popped into this store on a whim deciding to get my passport photos taken, and Bob was a fantastic help! I could tell he was busy stocking the store, but he was happy to put it aside and he answered all of my questions, took my picture swiftly and expertly, and he processed my photos and payment incredibly fast! He also took the time to ask me if I wanted to save $10 by getting a CVS card. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Also, the pictures were great! Excellent service

It's hard to decide which of the ransacked sketchy chain pharmacies in downtown Burlington is worse. This one is self checkout only so I suppose it's vaguely easier to steal things, but also has less stuff to steal. I never walk out of this place feeling better than when I walked in. I call it a tie with the Walgreens.

i truly hate writing bad reviews as someone who has worked in customer service for 5 years. however, this was such a frustrating experience for so many reasons. i was purchasing snacks at the self checkout and it started calling for assistance. normally this just means an employee needs to scan their card to finish the checkout. there was one man on checkout, so i waited patiently for him to come over after he finished with his customer. but then he took the next person, and the next, i’ll while the machine loudly called for an employee. i asked him if he could help and he said he called SECURITY so they should help. he continues about his day, the line getting v long. and so obviously when security comes up they leave and tell him to scan the machine. and then he just… continues to stand there. maybe he truly didn’t know what to do, but surely he could’ve offered to check us out or gotten assistance to shorten his line? we waited for 10 minutes and finally a woman comes up to him. he says nothing about the situation and let’s her walk away. i felt like i was literally in a dream i was so confused and the line was so ridiculously long so i ended up leaving my stuff and leaving. i’m not blaming just the man at the checkout, but clearly there needs to be better training/assistance? don’t schedule one person who doesn’t know the ins and outs yet.

I stopped in to buy a cell phone charger. The clerk saw me looking confused and came right over to help. I was very impressed.

Needed to pick a diabetes test and determine care follow up plan. Pharmacist Elizabeth was present, patient and thorough in helping me pick a test kit and showing me how to use it. Hers was the ideal kind of interaction I've always wanted but don't get from my PCP and specialists. Excellent and reassuring experience.

CVS is one of my favorite spots to pick up essentials. While we were on vacation we stopped by this location. The staff was accommodating and the items they stock are a wide range of brand name products. It’s basically your typical CVS. The one thing that they should reconsider is making the aisles wider for people who use a wheelchair.

Prices are quite high even for standard basic items, store shelves were barely stocked, staff was nowhere in sight, the self-checkout was extremely finicky and would choke up at the slightest things, things were very disorganized and cluttered, and the overall vibe was one of "I need to get out of here as fast as possible." Not a good look.

The good: it's still a CVS. The items are the same as every other CVS, so it's tidy and stock is almost identical, albeit a much smaller store than you'd expect from CVS.The bad: they're grossly understaffed, the employees are completely checked out and obscenely incompetent, and the manager is also incompetent (and overwhelmed/understaffed). It's like everyone's running on opioids and not giving a damn. Took 45 minutes to get help, and often you don't even get a verbal response from employees. Definitely the least friendly and least class I've ever experienced from a CVS.

The phone system for CVS is frustrating and obnoxious. It leads you where it wants to go in the conversation by asking yes or no questions when all I wanted to do was talk to some one in the pharmacy, not hear about any prescriptions I have ready or could get ready. I yelled into the phone 3 times for the pharmacy before it actually connected me with them. Worst phone ever!!!!whdesigned it has to use a system like this

The staff here is excellent. Mike stands out. I shop here a lot and Mike always provides a sense of familiarity that makes this particular CVS feel like a fixture of the community. Give him, and everybody else, a raise. They all deserve it.

It's a CVS why would you even read reviews on it? This one though, if you're really actually reading reviews before hitting the goshdang CVS, tends to be a little understocked and understaffed at times. And you gotta excuse the slightly on-edge employees, because based on the location they have to deal with a fair amount of crackies.

Emma from CVS Burlington VT pharmacy department. ; yelling at me on the phone. Customer service need some training as far as being polite or courteous to customer. Customer service need training this is CVS huge company and dealing with customers 24/7 . Need to be more diversified as far as treating different races/nationalities!!!

I was in to grab a quick package of mints I didn't even realize there were signs for the cash registers an entrance and exit. I was rudely told to read the sighs from the one Male cashier which I quickly did and apologized. Once I reached the cashier it was the same person who told me to move in line no big deal. I went to set down the mints and they slipped out of my hand and the gentlemen continues to make a scene claiming I threw the mints at him. I just looked at him knowing I didn't mean it. It was very rude of him and very unprofessional. I will not be coming back.

Store is disgusting. Smells, garbage everywhere, empty shelves. Couldn't even get checked out and just left the stuff at the counter. I don't know how a company like CVS tolerates this on their brand.

"HARIBO GOLDBEARS" I was at the CVS last night and I spoke with a gentleman and a scholar about gummy bears and he told me to give the sour gummy bears a try and I must say it's a 10 out of 10 highly recommend! They were not as sour as expected which I like, it's just a hint of sour

Bob at this location is the spirit of Burlington. He deserves his own statue in Church street. Thank you Bob for the amazing customer service and always being willing to help customers out. He is single handedly carrying this location. Don’t change Bob!

I really love this CVS. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The pharmacy folks even helped me with some questions unrelated to a prescription. Definitely glad to have these folks around.

I think CVS has become really overpriced compared with other pharmacies; this location is no different. I also REALLY really think its classless to have a full service pharmacy with no public restroom. They need a restroom here, especially for pharmacy customers who are ill or elderly!
