Great classic Vermont snack bar with very affordable pricing, nice outdoor seating, and friendly staff. I’d you’re looking for a good burger, dog (they have Michigan dogs too), or tenders, this is the place. Also the fries are amazing too and should be noted. Great spot if you’re in the area!

Came here on a overcast hot and humid afternoon and while the weather the bad the queen bee was quite the opposite. Double cheeseburger was delicious and bigger than expected. Sweet potato fries are some of the best and the service was quick and friendly. Definitely a local joint that just makes great food for a good price. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: It's an outdoor venue with some outdoor kids toys and playsets. Not in the best shape but not bad either

Visited after reading the glowing review in Seven Days and all the great reviews here. Both of us thought the burgers and fries were “ok.” Basically if you want something like a basic home cooked dinner, the value of food is very high- big portions at very reasonable/ low prices. Definitely great to support a family place. But I’d rather have a smaller better tasting burger, so we’ll go elsewhere next time.

Outdoor food wagon. Best burgers around. Favorite go to for locals. It unfortunately burnt down this last fall. Hoping to see a rebuild soon.Kid-friendliness: They had a little play park for the kids.

Family got home cut fries and onion rings and Michigan dogs and loved them. Portions were huge, prices were reasonable, service came with a smile. had a really fresh salad that was very large and filled with more veggies then lettuce. Very remote on the hard scrabble part of Hard Scrabble Road. The Vermont views coming and going from any direction are stunning!

So good! I got a hotdog, fries, and a maple milkshake. The milkshake was very mapley, not too much but not too little either. The fries were good! The hotdog was a little crispy but it was still really good. Overall a nice place to eat. Everyone is very friendly and the owner came out a few times and walked around asking everyone how their food was.

Unfortunately I don't have a photo to post but I just visited here with my husband yesterday. We both got a double patty bacon burger, and OMG they do not skimp on the burger weights!!! When I say I had probably two cooked 8oz patties... I am SERIOUS. it was delicious. The bacon on the burger was excellent. My fried pickles were fried to death and not at all edible BUT taken with a grain of salt... i genuinely don't have anything bad to say about this establishment. The prices are great, the food is great. Maybe it was an off day for the fryer, it was busy when we got there! We will be back for sure.

My buddy brought me on motorcycles! Very popular place, only waited maybe 10 minutes with a decent line. Had a really good corndog and burger. Definitely worth a stop. I hope y'all had a great season.

Good burger and fries, good value, nice people, nice outside dining area with shaded or sunny tables.We don't live in the area, and if friends didn't take us there, we would have never found it. You could say it's in the middle of nowhere, and I mean that in a good way!

Friends brought us to the Queen Bee for lunch yesterday. This was our first visit and it won't be the last. The food was great, the delightful lady at the order window makes it feel like you are sitting down in her home. Slightly out of the way but well worth the drive.

Love this local place. Always busy. Service is great. We have eaten there but mainly go for their ice cream cones. Great prices on everything. It is clean and outdoor dining. Portapotty and plenty of parking. Reading the addison independent article about Queen Bee, she is an amazing woman.

Stopped on Hardscrabble Road, and found the Queen Bee. Nice place, good food, and nice staff. Would go again for ice 🍦!!

Very friendly, great customer service, happy to go that extra mile .Parking: Loads of parking, picnic tables. Shaded areas, sunny areas .pleasant quiet area . The only issue I can see is dust because she is on a dirt road.. but unless it's very dry.....should be fineKid-friendliness: Playground available
