I'm just so happy this little grocery store exists. It's a convenience store, with all the items you'd expect, but also a whole well stocked aisle and freezer section of Indian spices, condiments, and base ingredients that you'd have to drive at least 45 minutes in any direction to find in a larger town if this market weren't here! It fills in the holes of what simply isn't found elsewhere in town, at totally normal prices. And the shopkeepers are very kind and welcoming, happy to answer cooking questions too.Thank you for making it easy to restock the pantry with all the tasty comforting flavors that make life in the Cold Part much more bearable!I'm still trying to figure out how to add images to my reviews, but my quarantine project has been trying to nail down my BIR technique and I'm just so thankful for this little shop.

I'm just learning to cook Indian recipes and needed a few ingredients that you can't find in a cozy Vermont general store, like fenugreek leaves. They were all here! The owner was very helpful and when I showed him my list he took me around to show me what was available for each item. All reasonably priced. I love that I can just stop in here and grab basic ingredients and not have to wait for an Amazon delivery!

I do like this store. They offer a variety of Indian foods as well as many staple foods I expect to see at a convenient store. Located on Elliot Street and open most everyday if not everyday. The isles are a bit tight making it a little difficult for us who need to use a rollator to get around with. It is not at all impossible to shop here and I am sure if I needed it they would help me to get any selection I could not get on my own.This is a very nice store with curtious and helpful attendees.

I shop here, they are very nice, they sell a large selection of spices, flour, lots of different rice in large bags. An assortment of glass pipes for smoking pleasure. It's a very unique store worth checking out!

I love our neighborhood grocer, it's one of the very few remaining family grocers in Brattleboro! Brundi and Ashuk always have a friendly word. You can find specialty items at a good price- My staple from Indo is Assam tea in a 12oz bag for a fraction of what you'd pay anywhere else in Bratt.You can find Chandrika soap, rosewater, incense and many high quality spices in bulk for excellent prices. You can also buy fresh homemade Indian dinners to go!

Do you want an exotic spices that you can't find anywhere else?! Go to Indo-American. You want to most delicious take-out Indian cuisine? Go to Indo American. I am never disappointed when I shop there, and the staff is always very friendly and polite.

I only wanted one can of Diet Pepsi and the Indo delivered. Also one time I wanted ground coffee that comes in a round can and not a foil baggie and they had that too.Hot dog! These guys just get it.Also it's not the Indo's fault that Maxwell House tastes like ashtray, so they lose no points for that.

My friendly neighborhood bodega. Need beer, smokes, ice cream or Indian food? Look no further. Don't get me wrong, you'll pay a premium, but the service, selection and location is unmatched. Good bunch of guys. See you tomorrow.

Excellent dinner takeout! Lamb Saag & Chicken Tikka Masala are favorites. Very nice family who owned India Palace. So glad I can still enjoy some of my India Palace favorites!

Expensive but convenient. One of the only right in the middle of downtown... But I guess that's why it's called a "convenience store" lolAnd unfortunately its another place they watch you the whole time you're in there like you'll rob them or something... kinda annoying
