This has been my go-to store for years, but their pricing has not stayed competitive. Now that Aldi’s has opened down the block, I only come here for hard to find items.And today I called to check their price on brisket. It’s $2 a lb more than price chopper. So I’ll be doing my holiday shop elsewhere.Even spoke to a manager to see if they could give me a coupon for the brisket. “We don’t price match. Nope. Nope. Sorry.”

Just your standard Hannaford’s. Good selection of foods; crisp fruits and veggies, nice artesian cheese and meats selection, fresh seafood, and overall good cuts of meats. New edition: a liquor store, which definitely ups the anti here, making it a true one stop shop. My only recommendation is there is no relevant community board. Most grocery stores I’ve shopped at stay up to date on their local happenings and support local businesses by maintaining a community board. The lack of one makes the store seem distant from its surrounding community.

There is a man in service desk. He is not very nice person. He yelled across the store because I was trying to see if anyone was there!and he swore 4x .I went home to call store manager 3x he would not put me through and it was over 3 hours. I put the phone down and left it kept checking . Now when I go in he stands by the register and asks for receipt to see if I pay! And I'm not the only one!we asked for a complaint sheet he left and never came back. He said" Tell my boss you think I care,I don't give a f..k what they say. I have reported him 3x and he's still there.i did nothing to start this.

I normally don’t shop here but when I travel up north to Vermont and New Hampshire we go to Hannaford and the food co-op that’s downtown Vermont. They have good variety of different foods you cannot get when you go south. The cheese and meats I buy a lot of because they have a lot better quality then Stop&Shop which is down here in CT.

If I could give a lower star I would.Let me tell you a little about myself first. I have mental health issues such asacute anxiety ,PTSD and agoraphobia.I also have a service animal due to having seizures. A parrot that is trained for that specific responsibility, the only word he can say is seizure. The bird pictured in the photo above is Capri he's the bird. After many trips to this specific Hannaford I get bombarded by this shorter heavyset man with glasses who works here. Who actually laughed in my face when I told him this. Then proceeded to tell me there's no way , comparing my bird to a rat and some other animal. The whole time blocking my cart and raising his voice all of things that can really freak a parrot out. Then when I proceeded to tell him by law I don't have to disclose my information about my disabilities,nor provide proof which I had on my phone about my animal. He continued to place his foot in front of the wheel of my cart as I walked to check out almost causing it to tip with my parrot on it. This particular bird has saved my life by alerting people who might think I'm overdosing or something else. This particular man was on a power trip , my bird still hasn't came out of his travel case on his own like he always does when we get home. In the past at this store workers and patrons alike commented on my animal and how well trained he is. I was told I couldn't even purchase my food a fellow store patron paid for it and surprised me in my car as I tried to calm down and also tried to calm my animal down. This guy is abusive with the little power he has. Instead of harassing someone with disabilities why not stop the pan handlers from stopping everyone out side of the store?

Great variety in sections of the store. Try not to go after 7 pm to check out because there is only one cashier and the self checkouts.

This is always a busy Hannaford's no matter what time you go.Immediately confronted with the produce section. Big selection and good variety. Good size floral selection. Baking has lots to offer. The deli meats have plenty of self serve grab and go. The butcher area is appetizing. Sushi is available as is a salad bar .Lots of variety of almost everything , frozen foods etc.There's a pharmacy here tooThere's a very nice wine section.I generally go to the self serve check out station .

I drive a big rig. I parked in the parking lot, did some shopping. I deliver to a receiver early tomorrow. Shortly after I got back in the truck, 3 employees came out and told me I had to leave. “You gotta leave now, we don’t care what you have going on. Trucks aren’t supposed to be in here. Leave now, we’re being nice instead of calling the cops, this is customer parking.” I didn’t even have time to show the receipt from my purchase in the store. This is one trucker that won’t spend another cent in there. “Customers can park as long as they want, no matter what vehicle they’re in. Unless you’re a trucker, then we hate you.” Should be written somewhere in their store description.

Awesome 👌 place 😎 to shop but saddened to they are experiencing like other Gorcery chain stores a lack of food items for now I hope, but for the most part Great 👍 people and safe place to shop!..Nothing else new besides high prices like everywhere else.

I love this store! The prices are far more reasonable than the other stores in Southern Vermont that I go to. They have a nice beer selection, and a great meat section! Now that they also have a liquor store, there's no need to go anywhere else!

Not too bad.. faster lines than price chopper.. Watch out for the hamburger because they put already expired burger that smells like urine inside and new burger on the outside and it ruins the outside meats and end up wasting $15 for a family pack. I usually buy it and section it in 2 different ziplock bags to put in the freezer right after I buy it. Ive been asking them to check it before I leave and they kindly do so. Amazing customer service!!

Every time I do HTG at Brattleboro there is something wrong. Two expired products last time. This time there was no receipt provided. My pickup time was between 7-8 pm. We picked up at 7:16 pm. When we got home and found no receipt we called and were told no one was available because HTG goes home at 8 pm. I said "it's not 8 yet". She laughed and said "It's 7:59 and they've left and I have no idea how their system works. You'll have to call back tomorrow. Very poor customer service.

I have been using the pick up option at Hannaford. Once in a while there is a wait, but usually order comes out fairly quickly. Staff is always courteous and friendly.

I'm a little bias when it comes to this store, my mom used to work here so I kind of know the place and some of the people. I love to come here though because it's much cheaper than the store near my house, plus it's bigger and has more variety in it's products and produce. The staff is just as sweet as can be and always helpful when you can't find something. It's just a nice fresh and clean environment to spend an hour or so shopping for groceries, and with the way things are these days I think that's important. No stress environment, at least for me, lol!

Customer experience: 4/5 Would recommend. They have most everything you need except for a larger variety of hygiene products, and the only real complaint is that they seem to rearrange frequently.Applicant experience: 1/5 Would not recommend applying to work here. I have now applied twice. Once they completely ignored my application. The second time, they brought me in for an interview, which went very well, and they said they wanted to hire me. It's been six weeks and I haven't heard a peep. I found another job in the meantime. All of this is very strange since they seem to not be able to ever have enough people working.There are always long lines, cart returns are overflowing, and the shift leaders are running around frantically, trying to organize and keep things from falling apart. Very, very unorganized and strange.

For those without the store's loyalty card, you can still get some good deals. We were spending some time up in Vermont and decided to go in to get a few things on the way home. They had a pint of blueberries that were cheaper than my local grocery store. Had some delicious looking baked goods but sadly nothing gluten free. Coming from Massachusetts, the one odd thing was how to get to their aisle 11. And most sad was that they had no Chobani gingerbread oat coffee creamer. But next time I'm up that way I'll definitely check out their buys.

For the first time in my life I have returned a full cart of groceries and demanded a refund- because of the unprofessional and lazy attitude of the night services manager who would rather have a customer return 200 dollars of groceries than do his job and provide basic customer service to comply with state law.Instead of taking 5 minutes to count a few cans, he would rather waste my time as a customer and waste several employees time refunding and restocking a cart of groceries and eat the costs of several packages of meat and ice cream that sat in summer heat... though judging by his attitude he's probably just gonna put them back on the shelf for some poor unsuspecting customer to get sick from.Its a shame because until this point I liked this store but if such a lazy uncaring employee is able to crawl up the leadership ladder here, it really calls into question what other corners are they cutting?Happily there are other shopping options.t

The staff is nice and the lines aren't usually too long. It's one of the cheaper places in town for groceries. I also love their app and they offer me free products to try every month which definitely helps keep my business. I haven't tried their to go service yet but plan to soon

Lines all the way down the aisles, managers standing around with hands in pockets having conversations about someone who died in a fatal car accident last weekend. Nobody wants to work here, it makes me not want to shop here again. A lot of expired products on shelves that aren't being dealt with properly, make sure to double check. You will be expected to bag your own groceries, which is precisely why the lines get backed up so far. What a mess, I feel sorry for the people who have to work here under such poor management/leadership. Something should be done.

LOVE this food store! Good selection at great prices, amazing, well-stocked salad bar with incredible baked goods from the bakery. They even offer free cookies to kids 12 and under! Fast check out, friendly and helpful staff, clean restrooms.

Quick lines self checkout is always a blessing and bigger variety than Aldi's . About the same as Market 32 but I prefer Market 32 more. Just so if your new around here and wanna choose a grocery store to shop at

Clean, well-stocked, slightly upscale grocery store. Hot and cold prepared food selection is vast and varied (great for grabbing a quick meal when you don't feel like cooking). I found the olive bar and selection of cheeses to be most impressive (the two things I was looking for when I first entered this store a year ago). I'm sure you'll find whatever you're looking for in here.

Staff is friendly. Happy to be able to get gyro kits this trip - often not available. Food quality is good. Meat prices are reasonable.
