I called to find out about the availability of some pink dogwood wood trees. Lady who answered was very unmotivated to help me as she didn't know what they had. Got told there is dogwood trees outside but didn't know what kinds. Then that was it. Very very annoying Attitude

Love coming here - the quality of the items in stock is always top notch. Their seed selection is enormous and the staff is quick to assist and answer your questions. An absolute asset to the area.

Great place friendly people. The reason for the four stars is the prices. Found it to be very pricey. Bought a bag of pig ears for our doggies and 20 of them were $39.00. Would shop here more but I'm afraid I would not be able to afford it. On the bright side, our pups love the pig ears. Also was the only place we could find natural pig ears.

I have been without power for three days and ran out of propane. The first few places I tried were out, they had plenty and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was elated to see the digital sign stating "propane" and the "propane cylinders filled here" sign by the front door.🔥❄🏠🌬

The people are great. Friendly and helpful but not pushy. They are very knowledgeable about the products they provide. Reasonably priced. Plenty of items to choose from. Bonus they have 2 playful kittens. Your doing awesome, thank you for being great.

Bit expensive but very nice people! Nice little store and one of the few places to buy real pig ears for my dogs! Worth a check out especially for plant lovers, they have a lot of everything!

Went in to look for my chicks for my friend & they were in terrible condition. I grew up on a farm & I know what healthy chicks look like & my FIL is a veterinarian so I sent him a picture & he said not to purchase any because they wouldn’t last long, than after doing some digging I found out that this location alone has had serious issues as of last month dealing with their birds. It’s terrible they don’t care for these chicks better especially since they’re living things & not just feed on a shelf. Shame on you!

Employees are very helpful. The manager was horrible. I bought two sunflower plants. They died within days. Went there for something else and saw all the sunflower plants were dead. Was told second year this happened. Asked for my money back. Was told to bring in plants. First boss accused me of not watering plants. When I told him I had seen all the dead ones on his premises, he asked for a receipt while looking . Didn't save it. The entire purchase was in his computer proving I had bought them there. Got a store credit, so I have to go back one LAST time.

They seem to have whatever you need for growing and feeding. You want to grow some specific plant, they have the right soil. You want to feed a specific animal, they have the feed. Beside that I believe they also have everything you need to plant or feed you can imagine. I think if you want to build a barn, they have what you need for that too. I never asked about that so maybe not. The store is large and the staff is friendly beside being very knowledgeable. I should go there more often.

I like this store as it has many things I need but the customer service is the pits. Do not go to this store if you don't not have 10 to 15 minutes to stand in line when they are short-staffed (the explanation offered to me today with no apology...but it's business as usual). Plus, they funnel all customers to the same spot... whether you are buying 1 item or 10 or ordering something from the yard or returning something.If someone is ordering something from the yard and doesn't know exactly what they want... or when the cashier has to look up the information on the product... you may as well pull up a chair.

I like this store because it is the biggest gardening/outdoorsy store around. Friendly employees, lots of selection. But if you were to shop around at the smaller local farm stands you would find better pricing. But if you are using a big buggy it is hard to navigate everywhere and get around corners, even outside. There is usually stuff sitting in the aisles. And it seems ridiculous to sell a $20 plastic watering can.

Poor customer service. Purchased a hose nozzle that failed within 3 or 4 uses, about a month after purchasing. It was clearly poorly manufactured. I was asked if I had a receipt. I of course didn't have a receipt for a $9 hose nozzle. I was told if I don't have a receipt they couldn't do anything. No offers to help make it right or swap the product out. Nothing.

They have a lot of great inventory, but the prices aren't always the best.That said, if you live nearby and absolutely NEED 100lbs of peanuts for your totally legal elephant breeding operation, it's your best bet.

Don't go to this store. I have had multiple problems ordering feed from them. The most recent is we called to have some chicken feed set aside and were told ok no problem. We battled traffic due to an I91 closure and get to the store they are sold out of the feed. I called the manager later in the day and got absolutely no help.

The wife wanted a few new house plants, had plenty to choose from in the well maintained and organized greenhouse. The plants were carefully packed for travel at the register by a super polite young lady.

This is a standard Agway. Some nice plants, always have hay in stock, but do not always have the organic feeds I am looking for... Folks are friendly, shed and warehouse helpful, too.

During these difficult times, this store is doing almost nothing to promote social distancing. While they have half-built barriers between the cashiers and customers, in only some lines, the cashiers were huddled together, inches apart, only one employee out of four wearing masks. One employee, training another, began leaning on the counter, within a foot of us, while we were checking out. It felt awkward to have to back away, but she didn't seem to notice or care.Alarmingly, while I was waiting in line, I listened to another employee, on the phone, bragging about how she stubbornly refuses to wear a mask or take any precautions.This was all very inappropriate. I wont be returning anytime soon.

Wow. Never again. We stopped in for a minute. Upon entering the shop, the first thing we encountered was a guy coughing and hacking all over the things he was looking at. His mask was below his mouth and nose. As we moved to the till, an employee ran at full speed, panting and breathing heavily, no mask, across the shop. The cashier asked him if everything was okay, and he ignored her. NIGHTMARE SCENARIO!

We were so pleased to move to the area and have this store nearby, but then, this summer, Agway Brattleboro sold us straw that was (apparently) still full of hayseeds. Now, our very large garden is seeding with hay. Sigh. If it was possible to upload a picture here, I would, but I don't think it's possible...
