We recently moved to the area and around the same time our cat started getting very sick. So, as a first time patient, our cat was diagnosed with diabetes. They were very kind and helpful about the options, gave us a realistic idea of what to expect, and were very supportive in helping us treat her in a way that we could afford. Took my 5yr old cocker spaniel in to be spayed. Can not beat the quality of services from Oxbow, the staff, the cost of services, the building itself, or the doctor's and aftercare instructions. I will definitely be bringing all my animals here if/when they need. Thank you, picture of my beautiful girl with her "cone of shame" lol for the next two weeks.

The staff are absolutely amazing here. I lost my best friend a few weeks ago after he got hit by a car and I was looking for somewhere close to home that could have him cremated for me. They were so polite and sincere when I called to ask questions. When I got there, they walked me through the (very simple) paperwork because I was an absolute wreck. They were so sweet, hugged me and even cried with me over the loss of my baby. They were so careful with my boy, which made leaving him behind somewhat bearable. I will forever be grateful to the two amazing ladies that helped me through one of the hardest moments of my life. I wish I had gotten their names to send a thank you gift. In case they actually read these reviews, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness that day went far beyond professional courtesy, and I will always remember it.

We recently had to say goodbye to our 14 year old dog Riley. Ginny was so very nurturing and talked us through the whole process. This situation is not easy but the staff was amazing and so loving to Riley right to the end. I can't thank them enough for caring for her and us over the years.

Wonderful, kind, caring, friendly staff, extremely knowledgeable veterinarians and techs. Thorough examination, willing to take the time to investigate, listen to concerns and to prescribe the best treatments. Beautiful office too. And they were willing to help my dog when others couldn’t squeeze her in when she had a concerning issue. I highly recommend this wonderful veterinary clinic!

Welcoming clinic -spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Vet was personable and attentive. We brought our pot belly pig and were told he was the most well behaved one they've had! Which is crazy to us because he can be quite mean. He got spoiled too. He got a clementine and part of a banana!

Bring my dog there shes just a puppy. They seem to do good with her. They were very helpful when my puppy got ahold of my daily medication. Told me exactly what to do with no judgment and told me if u was still concerned to bring her in They even wrote it in their notes she may be coming in that day and no appointment needed. My mother has always used them for her dogs so I'd say they're pretty good

Dr. Spooner and his wonderful staff treated me and my husband with great respect and kindness the day we had to let our for baby go to cat heaven. From the ease of getting an appointment the very next day, to the very end. We will never forget this. Highly recommend his practice to anyone.

This place is AWESOME! I LOVE the staff!! I drove from RI to Vermont to bring my mini pig to get spayed, I wanted the best for my baby and they are exactly what I got and more! I was referred to Oxbow by a member to a group I'm a part of, I had many who gave me referrals to take my pig to but I am so glad I went with Oxbow. Dr. Chris Spooner came out himself to get Lacey, he's so cool, I even got to take a picture of them two together. I am planning to get one more mini pig to give Lacey a companion and I am praying that I can have Dr. Spooner perform the same procedure. I wish Oxbow Veterinary was located in RI the quality of staff is who I like to deal with. Oxbow and Dr. Chris Spooner are EXTREMELY worth it. Thank you so much Oxbow Veterinary for your kindness and, I will never get tired of letting anyone know about how awesome each person I dealt with was from start to finish. Thank you!!!

The real explanation for this Veterinarian is "Wonderful".This isn't my ordinary vet, we went here because our Vet was on vacation for a week (we weren't aware until we called ).Our Sr. dog needed her pain meds refilled , for we were going away for a few days. To my surprise, this Veterinarian did all she could as to helping this refill happen. Again, we are not their patient.They had gone over & beyond to satisfy us so our Sr. dog would be comfortable until our Veterinarian was open from vacation.Thank you Oxbow VetYou really do care

I cannot say enough about how great Oxbow Veterinary is. The entire staff cares so much for every animal and it shows. I've never had a vet where my animals felt more comfortable, so well treated and genuinely fully cared for. My girl has been having some health issues and has been to the vet as frequently as weekly for a few months. She is happy to walk through the door each time. We are beyond pleased and wouldn't ever choose to go anywhere else.

I'm very happy with the level of care I have received here. I have three cats and a dog, and they've all been coming here for several years. They have been extremely kind and accommodating, especially with one of my cats who has many issues.They take Care Credit and are reasonably priced, as well.

Great Vets always treat pets like one of their own. Chris & Aimee were great when our dog was sick and help us through some rough decisions and always had the pets best interest in mind. Aimee even sits on the floor with our dog during exams to make him feel more at home. Staff is great and treats pets like their own also. I give the an A+++

Veterinarian here is fantastic, but the staff are not. Every interaction I have had with them has left me thinking "what the heck?". I am not the one who chose this vet, a family member did and I have only gone a few times when I needed to help my family pick something up/bring an animal in. Every time you walk in the office the staff complete ignore you, when they finally look up to see what you want they do not greet you at all. You feel like you are bothering them. They generally make you feel uncomfortable. I recently had to bring my family's dog in for an emergency that ended in her being put down. While it was happening the staff were in the same room chattering and generally being disrespectful. They obviously did not care at all. Very sad.

Beau was terribly sore and lethargic through the weekend, Oxbow admitted, diagnosed, and remedied his issue. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the communication with the Dr. was clear and informative.Oxbow isn't even Beau's Vet! Thank you from a new fan.

chris and amy spooner are very caring and thourough. staff from front desk always answer the phone, no machine, medical staff are friendly, kind and knowledgeable.
