Friendly place to shop, but I recently had a concerning experience. I went for a few household items and while in the back of the store Shopping in the last aisle I could hear two associates in the storage area joking around bantering. At the time there was a 3rd associate up front on register. When it came time for me to pay, I walked to the register up front and saw 3-4 orders (about 5-6 people) in front of me. Still only 1 cashier. I was able to stay 6 feet away from people as I added myself to the back of the line. But as the 1 cashier processed orders and I moved closer to the front of the line, more and more people became ready to pay. Soon, there were around 10-15 people waiting in line, crowding, during a pandemic, and the other two associates I earlier heard laughing in the back, were no where to be seen. I told several people in line I wasn’t comfortable with the crowding (and some people were not wearing masks). Luckily the people to the front and back of me tried to make space and because I said something others tried to make room as well in the front of the cramped store. Very unsafe line and crowding situation. I probably won’t go back until the pandemic has eased up a bit or until I see no other cars in the parking lot. I don’t trust that staff will manage lines.
