We bring our dog and cat to country animal hospital. We have always been impressed by the staff—friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable, and our vet is always willing to talk us through all the options. Our dog was successfully treated for heart worm. Highly recommend!

I have been going to the Country Animal Hospital since 1994. They have cared for several feline and canine family members of mine. My new rescues will be taken here as well because of how they have addressed emergencies, well checks and because of how extremely compassionate they have been with end of life issues. There is also an extreme piece of mind to be able to board your animal at the same facility where they see their doctors.Thank you for ALL that you do. If I could give negative stars for their grooming services I certainly would. A groomer with as many years experience as they claim their groomer has should know that you NEVER shave a Golden Retriever or a Golden Mix. To be fair my golden did have some mats from swimming and from not being able to get her in to get groomed for many months because of Covid. She had mats in her feathers and no where else. Why she was shaved is beyond me. When she was dropped off the groomer said oh she will need to be short to get her even and I said okay but don't shave her. Low and behold I picked her up and she was shaved. WHY would a professional groomer ever shave a dog with an under coat. I didn't even recognize my 11 year old dog. The groomer left us a message saying that she was ready to be picked up and that they had to go quite short, this isn't short it's shaved!!!!!. And because of Covid, I didn't see the groomer and paid over the phone because you can't enter the office. My golden now has no fur going into the coldest months. I plan to tell everyone what a horrible groomer this is and caution them to NEVER EVER bring a dog to be groomed. Scary that a groomer doesn't understand breed specific grooming. SHAMEFUL!!!!

Dr. Keady helped me prepare my dog (and myself) for her export to Taiwan. She went above and beyond what you would expect from even the best of vets. I genuinely cannot have asked for better care. You're not going to find veterinary care better than here.

I've taken my vet-fearing cat here twice: once for a general check-up and once because she was sick. Both times the vet techs and vet treated my cat quickly and with a great deal of care. A particularly telling moment was when they had to draw a blood sample, and I asked if I could be there because my presence calms my cat down. They actually agreed, saying they'd try the draw once on their own, then if that didn't work, they'd draw my cat's blood in the check-up room with me. Instead of trying to push through my cat's discomfort, the vet tech listened to my concerns and tailored my cat's treatment to her specific needs. Sure enough, the blood draw went much smoother the second time. I love this kind of diligence, and because of it, I trust their care even more. My cat may never like the vet, but I think this office is the closest she will get to having a good experience. I was certainly pleased with the outcome.

Botched my appointment time, unauthorized they sent my dogs records to another Vet. Cancelled my appointment for 2 , mud season 3 miles dirt Rd 7 miles tar one way . Return at 4:20 with entire clan 3 dogs and a 9 year old granddaughter. Saw doctor eventually. No concession on Bill for all my trouble. Front desk hen house mess.

Such a caring, excellent staff and doctors. When I take my dogs here, I feel like they care as much about my dogs as I do. I respect and admire that in them! They take their time at appointments and are very thorough and patient. When I leave, I feel comfortable and confident in their treatment and advice.

There are three veterinarians here. I've only met one so far. She is the owner and very knowledgeable. She was willing to spend a considerable amount of time during my first visit, discussing the care, training and feeding of my new kitten.The facility is clean and orderly, with friendly, helpful staff. They even have day- boarding for cats so you can bring your pet, drop them off in the morning and pick them up after work.

We absolutely love Country Animal Hospital. Each staff member is so welcoming, friendly and always incredibly helpful. We drive 45 minutes to come here for our pup and would drive hours just to have him seen here. Dr. Keady is our veterinarian and she’s the absolute best! She’s so kind, gentle and very intelligent. I know our pup is getting the best care possible at this animal hospital. Even with COVID going on, we received a call reminding us of our appointment and were seen in a very timely manner. We also felt safe. If you are considering having your pet seen here I absolutely recommended it. You will be so grateful for their care!

My little Coton de Tulear had been attacked by an other dog and Dr. Kneady sewed her back up and saved her life. This is not the first time they allowed me to bring in a dog for an emergency. Two years ago I moved here from a small village near Syracuse, NY and I left a great group of women vets. Before moving I found Country Animal on google. I decided that they looked like the best, all women vets near my new place. After arriving in Vermont the first thing I did was getting my pets to them. It was the best thing I could have done for my pets. These four women vets and staff are the best. They are professional, kind, gentle, caring, friendly ... unsurpassed in their profession!

Thank medical professionals and the staff up front are the best at what they do. My dog loves going to the vets! They don't try to make you spend money on unnecessary procedures, and treat animals like family members. I recommend them to anyone that truly cares about how your pet is cared for.

I can't speak highly enough of the compassionate care we have recieved from Country Animal Hospital. My newest kitten just recently got spayed and they called and left a message to check up on her the following day. She ended up having a bad reaction, a high fever, wouldn't eat, became very lethargic. I called Country Animal Hospital right away and they told me to bring her in. This was on a Saturday, they made room for her between the other patients and were very attentive, empathetic, and timely. My kitten is doing much better and I can't thank the entire staff enough - even the ancillary is extremely kind and attentive. We will be bringing all our aninals from here on out!

They’re dog grooming schedule is nonexistent. You’re expected to drop of your dog in the morning and have them be there all day weather they are done or not because you never get a call. When I did get him back, he smelled of perfume for days enough to give you a constant headache. My second visit I needed my dogs ears cleaned because he has periodic yeast trouble, I waited 45 minutes for anyone to come into the room before I just left because they felt my dog needed to be examined before cleaning his ears. My third attempt with them I needed a blood draw to check his thyroid since my vet is an hour away they suggested I do it there since it only takes a few minutes. My vet called and cleared it with them. I spoke to the secretary, apparently no one made notes, they inquired why I didn’t just go to my vet after I have explained it twice. Was on hold so the receptionist could talk to a tech, then was told they would have talk to my vet. I’ll just spend the gas money to go to my vet. My advice, find a better vet that actually listens to it’s clients.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Lynne Martin and the service she has given my dog George over many years. George is a particularly difficult seizure dog, and Dr. Martin's expertise and genuine care for him has been more than I could ask for, and everything you hope a vet would be. I had a great experience with Dr. Keady and all the staff at Country Animal Hospital. I took my cat in for her first appointment since adopting her, and Dr. Keady and the technician were great at explaining vaccine recommendations for my cat (an indoor cat) and answered all of my questions thoroughly.

They have taken care of our labradoodle Zoe since she was 8 weeks old. She is now 12 and in fantastic shape! We started travelling in an RV full-time 4 years ago. We had a few instances of health issues, and I questioned the California vets advice. Dr. Jones called me, listened to my fears, and gave me advice on how to proceed. She is awesome! I felt so much better, found a good vet and finally determined Zoe is allergic to poultry. We were able to get back this year for her annual physical, and Zoe and I always feel better getting a check up here!
