I've worked here and I shopped here. This is the place to go to for when you want furniture or maybe a couple nice decorations. There are some good deals on generally anything in the store. I personally love the international food section myself and the section where they devote for holiday foods and other things.It's not a good place though, to get electronics. We're talking, basic AV cables, alarm clocks, bluetooth-based speakers/headphones and TONS of phone accessories. Very few things to get from these sections, although I will commend Big Lots for having a pair of corded headsets by Sentry that's quality is comparable to a Beats headset.That's only some of the things I can say that's positive about Big Lots or this location in general.DON'T WORK AT BIG LOTS IF YOU VALUE EMPLOYEE RIGHTS! This retail company is prideful in being anti-union, so if you're an employee that cares about being treated fairly in the work place, this company is NOT for you.Also, what is it with this location's bathrooms? They smell, customers like to carve on the stalls and the toilet paper/paper towel dispensers/soap dispensers are poorly maintained. Can do much better.

I had such a great time this evening shopping at the Big Lots on the Barre Montpelier Rd. I noticed immediately the manager and employees have been extremely sprucing up the store. It looks much more open but also looks and feels like the store is much more full of items/products. The store has always been a goto for me for kitchen items, coffee items, rare foods and especially the blankets and all items/products in the house wears section. Great kind customer service.

This is a great store with great employees. The culture of Big Lots is to offer the best prices and variety. I'm particularly grateful for the every day 10% discount offered for veterans and active duty military.The Berlin, VT store is well-managed and it's a pleasure to shop there.

Prices have gone way up! I like to go there, because they will have things that I dont see in a grocery store. But they really didnt have much at all. And everything was expensive!

I think price are good and when Walmart is out it seems this place isn't .need a box fan and Walmart has been out in our town but called here and both kind and helpful and i when rigth down and got a new box fan for under 20$ plus or two or three extra dollars is warrantied for 3 years also...

One of the weirdest stores I've ever been in because every time I go and they've changed the end Or something else but that also leads me to find brand new or almost discontinued products for really good prices that others wouldn't know about if they didn't move it around so much

Came in on 4/3/2020 to potentially purchase a bed for my new apartment. The staff was very helpful in assisting me with finding one that fit my needs, and even convinced me to purchase a bed frame and nightstand to go along with it! I had never been inside a Big Lots before, but after my experience last night I am now a lifetime customer. You can contribute that to the client experience that my roommate and I was provided by Allen, the store manager. Allen--if you're reading this--thank you for your service and I'll be coming back a great many more times!

Never know what you can find at Big Lots! The Halloween items are AMAZING!!! From organic treats, name brand body lotions to towels and mattress toppers! Any items change all the time so it's a surprise every time! Love this place! The store in Berlin, VT is the best!!!

I always look forward to Black Friday. Big Lots in Berlin seed a little skimpy this year but they did have so decent deals.The k-cup special that they run yearly is always a big draw.. especially for myself with the amount of coffee that I drink

Hey, it's Big Lots after all. Lots of fairly cheap stuff, sometimes what you need isn't there --' so it goes. However the staff is super friendly, goes out of their way to help and seemingly are never in a bad mood.

What can I say about Big Lots? They seem to be a store that has a lot of over stock at reduced prices, from other stores. That being said it's an all right store just don't buy any couches because they look and feel great for about a month and then they fall apart in less than 6 months :-(

Honestly, I just do not care for this chain store. However the food selection is very unusual for our remote location and we really love that. The furniture is garbage and that’s an understatement just spend a few more dollars and buy your furniture from a reputable furniture store.

I asked two Sales Associate if they carryed a item. I was told, they didn't know and then walk away. So I hah to search for it for myself. The only good experience, I had was at the Check Out. The Laby was pleasant and courteous.

I love Big lots for the selection of unusual foods and items you wouldn't necessarily find a say Walmart or Shaw's. Their prices are also really good!

They Usually Have Something You Need For A Better Price. Great place for lawn furniture and kids pool play.They just re-arranged the store which is a bit confusing but more open.

It's a wonderful place to go 🛍 byself or with your 👪 and friends they have all kinds of different things that you can buy like function lamp bedroomset food and all kinds of other things u can buy for your 🏡 or back yard or the front porch and the price there are cheap. And the people there are nice and friendly. A great place to go shopping with your 👪.

Honestly I get great customer service every time I go here. The selection could be better and the store could be cleaner. Ordering furniture here is annoying but otherwise I like it.

Really nothing there and always dirty. Don't recommend using the restrooms. The reason I gave 2stars instead of one is that on occasion you can find decently priced items.
