I have gone here several times and for some reason every time I go to staff is just rude. Most of the cashiers have an attitude if they’re not high. There’s only one person in the customer service area that’s actually nice with everyone else acting like you’ve bothered them if they acknowledge you at all. The floor workers work around you like you’re not even there which has resulted in me being bumped into twice by staff, not looking behind them.I grew up in an area where a price chopper originated, and this place is ridiculous. The only reason I gave it to stars is because yes, it has Neil Golub‘s groceries.By the way, is anybody in the Bennington Vermont price chopper’s staff is reading this could you please go clean your bathrooms?

The young kid working for your store belongs in elementary school messing with me & another customer so you pay this dirt bag kid to mess with customers & do nothing about it I would fire him on the spot if I was a manager his parents did a terrible job raising this kid your store sucks will not shop there anymore I’ll just shop at Hanifords from now on.Thanks for nothing.

Great produce selection ! Hot and ready meals, bakery and deli available. Sushi bar and other ready to go options. Wide aisles and multiple selections of every type.

Absolutely pathetic. The "butcher" at the butcher shop is not allowed to cut meat! The deli is closed by the time most people get out of work and their prices simply are not competitive. Don't even bother wasting your time with the useless, always-full bottle return machines either.

We love price chopper, from the outside it looks very unassuming and we actually ignored it for two years before actually going inside, they have a huge selection of items in addition to a big bakery, fresh seafood, and a great meat selection although I wish they had some pork belly. If you're in the area definitely check them out, I'd give 5 stars but their reward program requires the card and you can't give them the attached phone number which I find kind of lame in this day and age.

Selection was good. Store is clean and well organized. The front end has not yet adapted to the new COVID restrictions, but to be fair, no one else has either. One glitch came at the self checkout where the attendee was rather impatient. An earlier conversation with another employee revealed that the young women there are often subjected to verbal abuse by customers. I was cordial and respectful. Hopefully the next customer had a better experience.

The store was clean and well kept. Produce had a smaller selection then other price choppers that I have been to. The employees seem friendly and genuinely care for the customers. I would of given an extra star if thier displays were better stocked/placed. Overall I'm happy with my experience at this store.

We have shopped there for many years and have been pleased until lately. I know they have to follow corporate rules but the prices have gone higher especially paper products. Which at this point is hard to get and hard to find in stock anywhere and you pay the higher prices to have a necessity.The complaint I have is we enjoy the turnover until today. Bit into one and came out with a long dark hair. That just ruined my breakfast. Seeing that I have short white hair it wasn’t mine. Obviously someone didn’t have their hair covered.Careful with the turnovers.

I travel back and forth from NYC to Vermont to be with my son. I stopped in the Price Chopper in Bennington, Vermont on 5 OCT 2021 close to 10 pm. There was a very young woman and a young man working. Even though it was late They were very helpful, attentive, and pleasant. Most people young and old at this hour working would have been standoffish, tired, and reserved. You could tell they took their job seriously. Excellent job! Way to represent and awesome professionalism. Thank you.

Self checkout at Price Chopper is a joke. Only small number of items can be put on checkout counter. Take a look at Walmart's system. Much more efficient and easy to use.

Our go-to grocery store in Bennington. Large store, great deli, produce, meat, and wine selection. Grab a cup of Starbucks and sit and relax for a few minutes in a quiet cafe tucked off to the side of the bakery. PC generic branded items are all good quality at a great price - never disappointed.

Love, love, love this location. Staff is ALWAYS very helpful and there's a Starbucks inside! Always loved pricing, PC brand is great compared to name brands that and gas points at PC in general, but since moving this area I've fell in love more!

Very helpful staff. Lines can be a bit long at times but they are like that in all the supermarkets. Clean and items are usually stocked. Can be a bit pricey but if you use your Advantage card you can save some money.

The layout for COVID is awkward and annoying, but I like that they have a (mechanical) bottle redemption center in the front. It's also nice that there is a Starbucks in the store, even if I don't intend to use it. The store itself is very clean and well maintained.

Knowledgeable, courteous staff. Well stocked and organized. Regular sales on almost every generic brand with occasional even better deals (BOGO, BOG2.) Points earned with the free member card (Advantage) are good towards fuel discounts or future food purchases. My regular grocery store.

Prices are typical for the area. Freshness of the veggies leaves a lot to be desired. Fresh foods (fish, meats, and bakery) are customer friendly but the guy that was at the deli seemed to be bothered to wait on me and I was the only customer there at the time.

One of the worst price choppers I've ever been too. Day one of things on sale and they have none in stock. After telling them I live 40 minutes away I was told oh well the trucks will be here tomorrow. Rude people and poor inventory. Wouldn't even give them a one but zero wasn't an option.

My mother is 89 years young now. For the past few years i have the welcomed job of helping her do the weekly grocery shopping. She had always told me of how nice and helpful the employees have been to her. Well now i have seen it for myself. If you can't find something they will not just tell you where it is but they will walk you right to it. My mother is treated with kindness and respect as i see this because i let her do most everything and only step up if i see that it is necessary. The store is clean, neat and Price Chopper seems to have almost anything you might need.

I usually enjoy shopping here, but recently had ordered platters for my baby shower, and was quite disappointed with the service. I ordered online in advance (days before the event), and received a confirmation email that the order was placed. When I arrived the day of to pick my order up, they told me it wasn't ready, that they didn't have the order on the list. I showed the gentleman the confirmation, and they put the order together, but the delay negatively impacted my day and event. No discount was offered. On top of that, some of the fruit tasted as though it was not fresh (old and perhaps beginning to go bad), and the bagel crisps were not crispy. I would strongly urge anyone looking to order platters NOT to rely on the website, as it seems the people in the store do not regularly check for new orders.

Good Clean Supermarket. They usually have excellent cuts of Beef and some good deals on price per pound. Lines are never super long. Staff is efficient and very courteous.

Amazing store the young man Jacob working the self check out this afternoon was amazing and helped us. Told us how to save a ton of money on the app or in the store by signing up for the price chopper card online im going to save tons.

Without a doubt the worst market to shop. Staying at a local motel decided to save a few bucks and shop at the market. The antipasto salad was a pile of stale iceberg lettuce with some cheap cheese and salami on top. 1/2 rack st. Louis ribs (cooked) dry, no moisture and salty.Cruised by the meat section and the offerings looked like what would be left over from a dairy cow die off.Nothing good to offer here.

Price Chopper supermarkets are all supermarkets yet are different from town to town. Check their ads, their hours and don't expect them all to stock the exact same things. Not all have a butcher counter, a bakery counter, or a fish counter. I think all have deli counters.I like and use their fuel rewards program. They give a shopper cash credit for bringing in and using our own bags.

You know since Market 32 and Price Chopper code joined together you can find some really good deals there a lot of shopping at Hannaford good deals at Price Chopper people say Price Chopper so expensive well they're not that expensive I've seen some stuff down there that I buy bread over the Price Chopper and it was more expensive over at Hannaford it's a little things you check out no matter what so go to market 32 and Price Chopper today start saving some money.

This place really needs to be converted to a Market 32. The produce selection is abhorrent. All the lettuce mixes on the shelf today either expired yesterday or today. Multiple packages of strawberries were moldy. It's clear that the older Price Chopper branded stores are no longer a priority for corporate.

Shopped Friday, April 10, late afternoon. Two real concerns - 1) two children running up and down aisles obviously unsupervised. Store employees ignoring the problem. 2) twenty people clustered in meat section. Again, employees oblivious to problem.

Severely understaffed or mismanaged , hard to tell. Only three lanes open despite heavy traffic yet each had employees bagging groceries instead of opening other check outs. I had 4 items and all 14 or fewer lanes were closed
