If you're getting Fish or a Reptile/ Amphibian Please go here over a PETCO. Their prices are competitive their knowledge is far better they will let you know exactly what you need for a proper set up or how to fix your current set up.They treat their animals and even the feeder stock far better than a major chain could ever dream of.

Morgan and her staff have gone above and beyond. I am probably in her store once a week for bugs and various items for my Bearded Dragon. Morgan is very helpful, insightful and very willing to brainstorm ideas if your having an issue with a critter. Can't say enough amazing stuff about this place that's just right up the road!! Amazing employees and amazing pricing! I’ve never seen such a clean, organized and expansive reptile store! I was beyond impressed! The girl working (not Morgan unfortunately) was super kind and answered countless questions! She even let me hold a baby beaded dragon! Will definitely be coming back when I pick up my tank from home! Ps. When the animals they get from breeders don’t meet their standards they breed their own! (SO SO SO impressed with the quality of care and attention to detail!)

Stellar selection of happy, healthy, fish, and a knowledgeable staff. I went in thinking maybe they’d have just a few of the more common fish I was looking for, but in fact had a thorough/wide selection, and are able to get the species they didn’t have in stock for me special order. A good selection of plants, shrimp, and snails as well. One stop shop for all your aquarium needs.

Until today, I had never heard of this shop. I contacted them in search of black worms for my young axolotl. At this time, they do not have them, nobody does due to Canadian exportation problems. But they were so helpful! The person I spoke with was very knowledgeable about axolotl care and how to help me with my concerns/issues. Good axolotl advice is hard to find. I look forward to visiting this shop for all of my axolotl needs in the future. Thank you HGS!

The lady who runs it was very nice and knew a ton about the animals she had. She talked to us for half an hour to discuss whether getting a chamillion was right for our home or not. She even had very smart solutions to fix the problems we would face such as humidity and heating. She also let us meet a few of the animals and discuss the difference in care between them. We will definitely return. 10/10

Love this store. We get all the supplies we need for our chameleon and fish. They have spiders for sale, as well as bearded dragons, snakes, turtles, crickets, and everything else you would need to start up or maintain a habitat for many critters. When everyone else is out, this place has it.
