Passed through the town by chance and stopped to have a browse. Really good selection in a cool building, good atmosphere and loved that there was classical music playing it really fits the vibe 😄 really reasonable prices and loads of stuff to choose from all very organised! Owner was really lovely and we had a nice chat, he even gave me an item for free which was a very sweet gesture and an item I will take all the way back to the uk 🇬🇧 if passing through or nearby definitely stop in!

What a fabulous antique mall! Three large stories full of furniture and all kinds of other antiques. The upstairs is an old opera hall which was very cool to see. I am so happy to see this large set of china I got at a great price looking right at home in my china cabinet—picked out from within an entire room full of sets of china with help from the very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman running the place. He really was great. It was a wonderful experience talking through the different patterns and makers, and once I made my decision we worked together to package it up carefully and he helped me bring it all out to my car. I am very glad I decided to make this detour on my way home today.

We loved the antique mall which had a lot of reasonably priced art, furniture (all three levels with more on lower/upper levels) and a wide variety of antique items on the ground level. The owner Bob was great and even offered to order a replacement glass chimney for my miniature antique McCormick Little Puck lamp if I was unable to obtain it in my home state. He provided me his contact info. and a glass company’s info. and the replacement item number. He was extremely helpful!!!

Excited to write a quick review for this cool old antiques store super close to Barre, VT. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about what he has in stock and the prices are very reasonable! I went in looking for a table to do jigsaw puzzles on and he had the perfect table for me (see photo of this unique folding table). Plus I found some excellent lamps, beautiful old wood folding chairs and some art deco silver butter knives. You can wander at will and all questions will be answered. Fun place to browse and shop. Highly recommend!

Bob is a lovely, knowledgeable, accommodating, and welcoming old school Vermont gentleman. We have gone to his place several times for beautiful and reasonably priced antiques. He takes time to explain the history of each piece. We are so thankful to have found his unique establishment! We highly recommend East Barre antique mall.

East Barre antique Mall is one of my favorite places. I don't ever go shopping per se except for groceries. Any other time I need something. I usually know exactly what it is and where I'm going to get it before I go. I don't like browsing or otherwise. Just looking around. But none of this applies here! Whenever I go I take my kids with me and we always find treasures to bring home. The folks who run the store are very kind and helpful and with three enormous floors you will definitely find something for anyone. If you're tired of buying junk from big box retailers to give as gifts in particular, come here! The only downside is that they're closed from November to May 🙂

Horrible experience. Walked into the store and got insulted. Continued to get insulted as we walked through the store by the old white haired man who runs the place. Picked out a number of things I wanted to purchase and then asked if there's any flexibility on the price of a sign. As tourist season is almost over I thought there may be some flexibility. Again he decides to be rude and tells me he doesn't want to sell me anything. Having travelled many states, never met such a jerk trying to sell other peoples things.

Fantastic Antique Mall. Good prices with a range of offerings from lower to mid/higher price points depending on your preference and budget. Lots of furniture and art but plenty of smalls too. I read a few negative views on the owner but we found him to be friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. He suggested restaurants and places to visit.

Went there for the first time and was met at the door with an immediate and extended lecture from the (presumed) owner about turning around in the neighbor's parking lot, which was an honest mistake. Physically dominating the entry space to make his point, he went on for some time about it varying pitch, tone, and posture to make sure my wife and I felt as disrespectful and stupid as he could. If not for the guests we brought with us we would have left on the spot. Between that and the overpowering odor of whatever scent that was in the whole building made for a poor overall experience. Beyond all of that, the stock was fine. Ordinary, nothing particularly noteworthy. Certainly not enough to justify the treatment we received. The Antique store across the street is smaller, but has better stock and a far more professional staff. We'll never go back to this place. Ever.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Perhaps the best antique mall we’ve ever been to! Bob was on top of the whole stock—very knowledgeable! Great variety and one of a kind items. Three floors of quality merchandise. Furniture was amazing and prices were great!

The owner is very friendly and super helpful. His store has a large selection of all kinds of antiques, good quality. It's a blast just to go. Even better when you find what you need!! We have gotten large and small pieces there, all high quality in good condition. I can't say enough good things about our experiences there. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for something (and even if you're not!).

The first thing you will notice is the thick, eye-watering smell of potpourri when you walk in. The next thing you will notice is the rude owner. We walked out after he insulted us and started yelling about politics. We will not be back.

Huge - three stories filled with a vast and well selected inventory. You can find great prices on beautiful antique furniture, art and houseware. Fully stocked lamp shop. Experienced, knowledgeable, and personable owner. Worth the trip from anywhere in VT.

Another great hidden spot I'm glad I stopped at. I scored a few really old and hard to find cast iron broilers. And he gave a good good deal. Two floors and a basement. Clean and organized. The owner is a pleasant jokester and very accommodating. I will definitely stop here again.

He told us straight to our faces that he does NOT answer out of state calls or even out of town calls. He says he picks up then immediately hangs up.If you are coming from out of town, do not try to call.Also they are closed during cold months due to the building not having any heat.
