Dirty, unorganized, unfriendly, closes up at odd hours. Walked in today and a guy stocking shelves with his pants below his assthank god he wore underware. I turned and walked out.

Always clean and the manager they had was exceptional, she was engaged with the customers and kept the other associate motivated and smiling. Easy to shop, 2 registers were open so there was not long lines, in and out with a smile👍👍

I love shopping at the Dollar General in East Barre. It is by far the cleanest Dollar General Store that I've been in. Everything is always well stocked and the store is so clean that you don't have to look around for items in isles they are not supposed to be in, it's very convenient to a shopper such as myself to be able to know that the items I'm looking for will be in isles they are supposed to be in. I have always had such an amazing experience shopping at this location. The store has an app that is for Digital Coupons and it's very simple to sign up for the app. I've saved so much money shopping here using Digital Coupons for Friends having babies, my wedding, my annual parties, Christmas decorations and great quality Christmas presents, easter items, Step-Daughter's birthday parties, baby showers, Hawaiian parties, my amazing collection of Gardening tools and Bird food, dog treats, toiletries, etc...All-in All I could never ever consider shopping at any other Dollar General as this is my favorite location. All the employees are well trained and great assistance to me while I'm shopping. I've never had any problems at this location, it's been so great having a Dollar General located 5 miles from me as I live in the country so it's very convenient. Thanks Dollar General I love shopping here.

This store should not be open. You can't get down the aisles too much inventory on carts. My biggest concern is a customer Ron Raymond was in there without a mask. The employee never said a word to him. This is not the first time this has happened. I will not go to this store again. Very angry.Donna Coakley

Really short staffed, bare spaces on shelves with boxes next to them waiting to be in packed. Lot's of misplaced items everywhere.Granted I was in there around 6:30pm. The things I needed we out of stock so I left empty handed. I hope that manager gets more help, it's right in town close to the post office.

This store is probably the oldest and the worst of the 4 in the Barre/Berlin area. It's appalling when you walk in the store and see the following..1) Filth of the floors2) Product strewn ALL over in every isle.3) total lack of ANY merchandising tact, skill.4) No managment seen or involved. If so store would not look like this5) District Manager is non existant. Visit the store you will see what I mean.Employees are always friendly. Shame on the district manager for not stepping up and supporting the staff members.!

Dollar General has some great buys compared to the big box stores, I purchase various items monthly, with their sales I save money.They also have items that are more expensive than other stores, this isn't a good thing for their business.

I can't tell you lve never shopped at a dollar. General before. I do all my shopping. At. Kaols. They have better deals. And better. Stuff to buy that l like. I buy all my clothes. At koala. There are lot better. Looking. And a lot better. Made. And they dont. Shrink. When. You wash them. Or fade. I've seen some of the clothes. My friends have. Bought. At dollar general. And they look pretty bad. And very cheap. Like they. Wouldn't last aweek.

Filthy store! Not at all organized! The cashier smelled of alcohol the afternoon of 02/12/20 4:45, there are very friendly cashiers, but the store is disgusting!! Dollar General should be ashamed!! It does appear that nobody seems to care!

Love the shopping experience in this store , found everthing I needed and more.This store is clean and organized, but I believe it's credited to the employees and not the male manager, I believe his name is Bob or rob, he seems a little rude to his employees when he is in the store

Used to come here all the time, but employees can't be bothered to enforce covid guidelines or even follow them! I'll go to one of the 500 other Dollar Generals in town.

The workers at this store always have an attitude, only a couple are good customer service reps. If you don't mind standing in one long line that runs the length of the store, this might be the store for you.

Lost my driving license there, they locked in the safe. I wish they would hve went it to me. The store seemed a mess and the management lazy.

North main Street Barre Vermont is a total disgrace trash and carts with supplies all over you can barely navigate the store with a shopping cart
