Lots of potential here. We need a really good bakery in town, and they're so close. Needs more mature staff, at least to mentor these young people. The owner is overwhelmed I think. He sometimes comes off as "take what I'm giving or leave". There is very high stress, and a little disorganization in there. The order ahead dinners are nice.

Went in on a Saturday around noon, there were no other customers and it still took 20 min to get 2 canolis. The young man making the canolis didn't wash his hands or put any gloves on while making the canolis right next to Deli meat and cheese and many other foods. He also spent more time chatting with his co worker than getting our food done. It should have taken 2 minutes.

For $230 I could have gone to Hannaford. I am beyond upset about the appearance of this cake and have no time to fix it or purchase a new one. The cupcakes look just as mediocre.The cake and cupcakes were extremely dry. The frosting could be taken completely off as a giant chunk. The children wouldn’t even eat them. We ended up throwing away all of the cake and cupcakes other than the small bites from the attendees who were willing to actually try it.

Some Wednesday evenings our family purchases the takeaway precooked meals. Each time we've had the meals, the dinners have been great, reasonably priced, and a fun way to change up the dinner routine. Tonight's chicken was excellent. Thank you!

I stopped at this local shop while waiting for a friend to have dental surgery. When I asked for a dirty chai which was on their drink menu I was asked what was" in one of those" by young man in a" forever Trump" sweatshirt. Although the sandwich a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant was tasty, it was almost impossible to eat and I needed four napkins. The dirty chai was pretty tasteless, And between The sandwich and tea it was $11 and some change. I have to say though, their music selection was great. Place looked a tiny bit disheveled from the night before And being a chef myself, I know how things can get away from you when you're tired so I totally get that. I'll come back, the Trump sweatshirt was a tad disappointing, but everybody deserves free speech even if it's on a sweatshirt.

Enjoyed meeting, the New owner Tim, in the New Location next Barre City Hall,to shop for our Wedding Cake 🥂🍾🎂The Tim met with us to get to know us, what we were looking for?What we liked?Disliked?Must haves?Then he sat us down, gave us each a glass of water & choices to try different types of cake, filling and frosting combinations of what his bakery offers.This was not just paperwork and some notes like at grocery stores do. For us it was a great experience that was fun and worth it for any couple who wants a cake they can call their own.Tim's knowledge of; what can and cannot be done ✅ with your cake or pastry choices, the environment your choice will be in, amount needed to accommodate your event and decoration if needed i.e. wedding topper, colors, depends on the event.We met April who would be making our cake.Our experience was so wonderful we invited him to the wedding if he would like to attend.Thanks to the Tim and his staff who were involved with our cake, it was exactly like the combination we created but Better because it was the final product. Tim and his crew at Delicate Decadence are always welcoming. Their bagels are hands down the best in town, they always have fresh chocolate chip cookies on display, and their take home meals are incredible. Did you know they also have a full breakfast menu? I’m at delicate decadence AT MINIMUM twice a day and I highly suggest you stop in.

Hands down the smallest bagels… and “not” hands down the best bagels in town. They also forgot to put sausage in my bagel and just gave me bacon and cheese.. idk about you but seems odd. Thankfully I caught it in time after a bite and they had the sausages on the side and I was able to put in. But high price for very small bagels. They are half the size for more of the price. I had to order 2 just to be okay and go on with my work day. I would say, thankfully they use real bacon but that doesn’t do much when spending over 20$ for two sausage and bacon with cheese bagels. And there everything bagel seasoning, I feel they put on after it’s cooked. It all falls off, I mean all the seasoning falls off or piles into the middle. So ordering an everything bagels is almost pretty much pointless. I’m not heated and I don’t hate this place, however I hope they read this and understand how they can improve their product. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist or any new product, just takes common sense and maybe some adjusting on pricing. How is a sausage bacon and egg is less expensive when I order mine without egg… ya I won’t go hear again unless there’s changes. Also might want to give the customer the same price if he wants extra bacon and no egg. It’s not like a single strip actually cost 2.50-3.00$. I can buy a whole packet for almost that price. Maybe add on the menu - heart attack bagel. Which is sausage bacon extra bacon and cheese. Simply put and simply made. If u want cause there is no egg, have it the same price or a $1.00 more. Never made sense or makes sense where someone gets a 4-5$ bagel and I or we have to spend 12$ on a bagel and I have less product. Such as no egg. But I get 1 strip of more bacon. Come on. Really… stop trying to be a dictator and control ppl to not order meat. If we want it, let us have it and treat us the same as you treat others. That is what everyone should be doing right? treat everyone the same, offer the same…

Chef Tim served up an amazing breakfast for our group this week. From breakfast croissants (sausage/bacon, egg, cheese) to cinnamon rolls, french toast and fresh fruit to breakfast burritos…the flavors were amazing and the service fantastic.

Whether it is a cake to bring to a dinner party, cupcakes for our whole staff, a cake for our anniversary or the incredible anaconda snake cake for our son’s birthday, we have always been pleased with the cakes we have gotten at Delicate Decadence. Tim at Delicate Decadence can truly provide the right cake for every occasion. I would recommend getting a cake from Delicate Decadence any time you are looking for the perfect cake for a special occasion, or one from their cake case on the way home just because.

What a nice place at the center of town! I had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant, my husband had a cinnamon roll. They were both outstanding! Coffee was great also. There are plenty of spaces to sit down as well. The desserts were plentiful and decadent…maybe our next trip through…

Delicate Decadence hosted and catered a Celebration of Life ceremony for us. They gave us such a gift. Tim took care of the preparation, cooking, setup, and cleanup which let us focus entirely on celebrating Mom with family and friends. Mom showed her family her love by feeding us. She would have wholeheartedly approved. Thank you Delicate Decadence.

This was the second time we’d ordered in four years. I ordered a cake for my husband’s birthday I should have looked at the size we got a very small cake. I then had to purchase a second cake while I was there because the cake I ordered for 6 people was way too small. I purchased a speciality cannoli cake that was on display. When we ate the cannoli cake there were spots of the cake that were sour like mix hadn’t been mixed or almost bad Milk. I both times when purchasing from here have had bad experiences. I also noticed no one wore gloves while prepping the food.

We both had carrot cake. And we ate it very slowly to savor each bite!We took home pecan bars and apple cider donuts. Everything was excellent. Service excellent. Very well kept and clean.

Hi so me and my now husband got married on Saturday. We had spent a lot of time looking for a nice wedding cake that was amazing and what we were looking for and at a good price. When we went in we chose what we wanted it went fine. Well the wedding came and the cake was wrong. The flavors and all. So my mother in law called and tried to explain the situation and got rudely hung up on. Then after he hung up someone from a wedding the same day called and said they had the bottom and top layer to our cake! And we had theirs.. so it’s bad enough they ruined our cake but another wedding as well. The owner refunded us but did not have the heart to offer any sort of apology. A wedding is once in a lifetime. Unlike a birthday where you have time to make it up and do it correct, so now me and my husband did not get a top for our first year anniversary. I would 100% not recommend this place for a wedding specifically if you want it done right.

I ordered a cake, double checked that they would be open on the day I requested. When I showed up 2 hours before the birthday party to pick up the cake at the time they told me to pick it up, the place was closed. When I called and emailed, the response was, "Sorry, we were closed, I'll talk to the person who took the order." That's it! Don't count on getting your order when you request it 2 weeks ahead. I got no call, no notification that they were going to be closed. NOTHING!

I was first drawn to Delicate Decadence because they were able to accommodate my children's food allergies. It meant the world to them to be able to go in and pick out a special treat or pop in for a bagel. They are very sensitive to gluten and have never had an issue. We started taking advantage of their take home meals which are convenient and delicious. Just recently I had them cater a meeting at our office which was easy to plan, on time and everyone who attended raved about the food. Highly recommend!

This has been my go-to bakery ever since it changed ownership. Their cookies are scrumptious, the staff is super friendly, and they make everything look amazing! My mother recently got my birthday cake and cupcakes here and I was blown away! Just what I had been hoping for and absolutely delicious. Try the raspberry infused frosting. You won't regret it!

Sure, their treats, food and everything they make are absolutely delicious, but it is their customer service that really separates them from their competitors.
