One of the Vermont community stores. Unique concept but works. Generally a friendly vibe. Great breakfast options- Cinnamon pancakes, plus baked goods. Beautiful lake outside.

Picturesque spot across from the lake. The lemon and blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and lemon zest glaze are decadent and delicious! Beautiful area and scenic drive!

Apparently it's hard to take a sub order over the phone. Ordered a simple sandwich and specified no oil or anything but what I told them and surprise surprise it's covered in it and had other things I didn't even order. Never getting a sandwich here again. Not to mention they have staff literally sitting on the counters without masks on... Drive past this place.Increased review from 1 star due to their reply. I was surprised and glad to see a company that cares about their reviews.

Great sandwiches. The new donut breakfast bacon, egg , and cheese is delicious and tastes like a McDonald's mcgriddle except healthier 🙂. Good portions. And we no longer have to drive to sugar house for breakfast. Pancakes are great as well. Served with real maple syrup.

Come here all the time love it the owners are great they're great but today on July 26th at around 6:30 the rudest girl could ever work there obviously doesn't know how to read and kinda bit my face off as I was trying to buy 2 cans of a beverage I walked into their cooler and all their signs that I'll make sure you carefully shut the door behind you when you leave which I always do and she came over and bit my head off and She really doesn't deserve to have a job at such a friendly place when she's such a mean little witch

I grew up here, truly one of my favorite places to grab a little food or to cross the street and swim in Silver lake. Great place to kayak and SUP as well😊💚🙏

Love this place! Milkshakes are delicious! The hot pastrami is fantastic (I forget what they call it) the Italian sub it's also great! They also have the best gummy bears I have ever had, hands down!

OK they had coffee cups in there well I got one. Its the best cup around it fell off my table hit my Mexican tile floor . It didn't break chip there's not one mark on it ! SoI still have my coffee every morningWith my cows; mooses bears and covered bridges. GREAT STORE!!

Every year I go to a motorcycle rally right up the road from this store, and they keep us alive. :) It's a great little Vermont country store. The food is really good. Breakfast is a must.

Great little shop right on Silver Lake. 5 stars because cell service is really spotty in these parts and the Barnard General Store is a haven with WiFi when you just have to check your email. The store has an excellent craft beer selection and a great wine selection. And if ice cream is your thing they can help you out with that too!

First off there is no other local choice if you are camping at silver lake. The food is good there hours are a bit deceiving while open until 7pm the deli closes at 4, and while they sell pretty much anything you want the prices are high

A family tradition (46 years) of ice cream cones so big, "I guess I WILL need a cup! I don't want to drop this beauty on the floor!" Local products, a full service deli and my dad goes almost every Sunday morning for his pancake breakfast. 😋
