Get your souvenirs online or in person I recommend in person as they have some of the most delicious wraps and a unique setup for where you order vs. Where you pick up that makes you walk through the store because the kitchen is in the middle all in all a better customer experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐If you miss this you're missing out!

Great place to stop and stock up on anything you need while in Vermont. Great selection of items ranging from food and drinks to prepared eats and clothing. Very friendly staff and while a little cramped, clean amd well kept. A quintessential small VT country store.

Cute little country store located a few minutes off the main stretch in Arlington. We stop here every year before our camping trip to stock up on local milk, bacon, coffee etc. Small but good selection of alcohol. The sandwiches are also excellent.

This is a great little store just across the border of New York in East Arlington Vermont. I love going in here for the unique things that they have, the fantastic cheeses, and other merchandise. Very friendly helpful group of women. It is truly a great little country Store. I tried to go here at least once a month to see if there's anything new, which they're usually is.

What a great place to get a fine sandwich and cup of great chili. It's amazing the inventory of goods they have from practical hardware needs to home supplies and toys. The current owner wrote a book on the store. It's been a general store since the 1840's.

With 4 generations running the store, it's a very Vermont experience...sit at community table by deli and you never know who you'll be striking up a conversation with...we had homemade soup, fresh deli sandwiches made to order and mom's pumpkin roll...if you can't find it here at the Wayside then you won't need it whether you're visiting or a local...one of our favorite places to stop when in southern VT...see you in February!

This place to me is great for sandwiches, and is like a mini country store. it's old fashioned and has become a tradition in my family. To me it's just our favorite sandwich place, I'm not sure about other things so that's what the 5 stars are for. It's a great sandwich place, and I give the food quality 5 stars, for other aspects of the store, check it out your self...

A lovely general store and actually a real general store. They carry almost anything you might be looking for. Hungry? You can get great food from the deli along with homemade desserts and treats. The staff is friendly and helpful. Don't just drive by, put it on your list of places to stop.

The Wayside is one of those classic Vermont country stores with creaky old floorboards and friendly down to earth people. They have great sandwiches premade or to order, an awesome selection of beverages and snacks, and you can even get a fishing license there. Definitely stop in and enjoy some mom and pop goodness.

I love this store. I stop in regularly when I visit my parents who live in town. They have great fresh sandwiches and deli meats and keep anything you need in stock. My favorite sandwiches are the vermont special and the Ralphwich. They have a sign that says something like "if we don't have it, you don't need it". Excellently run store.

Great atmosphere, wonderful people and you can get just about anything your looking for from home made bake goods to fishing supplies. Has the atmosphere of a old town country store with people sitting around a big round table eating homemade foods to just saying hello to the neighbors.Two thumbs up.

My mom lived up the road for years and this was her local - they ALWAYS had what she needed, and they were friendly and helpful to boot. I always stop by when I visit and lately have LOVED The Ralphwich - delicious!

Old school charm abounds at this classic country store. Same owners for many years. Definitely overpriced for certain items but that somewhat expected given that the nearest supermarket is about 20 minutes away.

Love Wayside! They have everything you need and if they don't have it you don't need it! LOL. Everything from basic necessities to gourmet products, good food and good conversations at the round table. Nancy Tschorn and the rest of the Tschorn's and staff are wonderful people that make it happen every day even in some questionable weather.

Seem to have a little bit of everything here, got a very decent sandwich and enjoyed it subtract a star because there is a five dollar minimum to use electronic payment via credit/debit card
