Told Spencer my hands were going numb on long rides and he immediately knew the problem. He put some longer bars and new grips on for me and problem solved. After a tune up and the new bars bike rides better than new. For all my bikes needs I’ll only go to the goat. Thanks Spencer.

I brought my bike in today with leaking rear brakes. Spencer took one look at my setup, knew exactly what he needed to do to fix it, and I was even able pick it back up the same night. I couldn't be happier with the service and the way my bike rides now (I think it was in need of repair MUCH longer than I realized). Spencer, if you happen to read this... thanks a lot, man.

What an amazing shop… needed same day service on a Saturday afternoon… called, went over my needs and explained we are on vacation traveling from the Tahoe area, leaving the next morning for Miller Lake, took my bike in and had it back on the rack on the Jeep the same day!! If you need service in Willard… this is the place to go!!!!!!I’d give them 10 stars if I could..

This is just the kind of shop this town needs! Open during reasonable hours for working people.I would trust any of my bikes in the hands of Grumpy Goat. I think it's a misnomer though, because the owner is not grumpy at all. Kid friendly shop.Spencer is honest, thorough, detail oriented, skilled, and experienced. This is definitely a guy that rides bikes. He's not here to sell you the latest and greatest offerings from the flagship companies. He wants to help people ride what they have, and have fun doing it.If you need service, parts, brakes, consumables, he's got you!Oh, and he builds custom wheels too.Any bike stuff you want to get nerdy about, Spencer is ready to talk about it.If you don't know how something works and want an explanation, he is happy to help.This bike shop just got my business for life.

While taking a stroll through the neighborhood the other day, I noticed a bike repair shop located behind straw market. Thinking that the shop was closed, to my surprise, I noticed an employee doing some repair work. The man working at the time was very receptive to me standing outside the shop and ask if he could be of any assistance and invited me into his shop. Turns out that repairman was also the shop owner. Spencer gave me a quick tour of his shop which not only consisted of high quality bike parts but stickers for the neighborhood kids as well. What started out as a causual inquiry about his shop ended up with me spending several minutes converseing about moutain biking. He also told me of his vision for his shop in pleasant view. Spencer was not only extremely personable and knowledgeable about bikes but is dedicated to his business success. In the future for my biking needs and repairs I will definitely be going to the Grumpy Goat.

I notice his sign when going on a bike ride with my father and son so I decided to go check it out due to me needing a tune up on my electric bike. Let me tell you I'm so happy I did I normal tune up at other local shops around 80 plus I believe he charges 60 or 65 also all the other shops have a waiting list. He took my bike on the spot did an amazing job and didn't try to up sale me any thing. He was super honest and spent over an hour talking with me about my bikes and upgrades and adjustments that I may need or want to do. He even threw it back on the stand to check the life of my break pads. I ended up buying new pedals due to mine being cracked and wanting new ones. He installed them on the spot for no extra charge. I've been to all local bike shops in the area and he carrys top of the line parts and accessories. He even should me a lock that I've been looking at for 100 cheaper then I could find any where else goes extremely knowledgeable honest and does amazing work. He has my business for life! If he doesn't carry what I need he'll order it. He was even willing to let me try out one of his personal head lights that I was debating on buying. High quality bike lights are expensive. I bought it anyways but was blown away he was willing to do that. I suggest every one go to this shop you won't find a better deal any where else! Ty grumpy goat and I'll be back for sure!

I just happened to be on a motorcycle ride and noticed the bikes out front. Something told me to turn around and go look. I am glad I did. I was able to order a brake for my weird little Mojo HD3 at half the price of Amazon. The customer experience was awesome.Thank you GG!

Spencer the owner and operator of this small business delivers top tier service, offers a great selection of quality soft / hard goods and the best shop dog named Aspen anyone could ask for. Grumpy Goat Gear and Grind is exactly the bike and outdoor’s shop I would invent if I could invent such a thing. Unfortunately my level of expertise in biking, bike mechanics, skiing, and all things bike and ski related isn’t even a drop in the ocean compared to GGG’s owner Spencer. His ability to put himself in your shoes is unfounded in most of today’s service industry. Throw your gear his way and run out the door in minutes or stay and wax poetic on everything from wheel to wheel and ski tip to ski tip. My 100% Go To for everything I need!

There’s a new bike shop in town that is going to blow your mind. Grumpy Goat is my new go-to shop. Super simple in and out no BS. Great inventory stocking the essentials of exactly what you need.  Easy parking for getting in and out. And did I mention the owner??? Spencer AKA “Grumpy Goat” is truly a bike doc. I thought I knew my way around a bike but this guy blew my mind. He’s not only a super-intelligent brainiac and true bike nerd. He really loves riding bikes, working on bikes, and talking about anything bike-related. He could literally give a clinic on anything regarding bikes. Highly recommend Grumpy Goat for all your bike needs. You will not be disappointed.
