It's Home Depot, so safe bet they're going to have what you need for 90% of Home improvement projects, etc. the problem is that the customer service is usually either non-existent or useless. Once in a while, you can find someone that knows a lot about the area they work in, but I go to the store a lot because its location is convenient. Unfortunately though, it's really hard to find people that have any idea what you're talking about. And whether you get someone good or not, it usually takes a long time to find someone to help.The Lowe's in West Jordan, on the other hand, is much farther away, but they have a greater variety of items, and WAY better customer service.

My husband and I went into this store this evening looking for parts to install a sink. We are converting the tube for the washer and dryer to be used for a sink, which is confusing and required all kinds of vocabulary we don’t have!Thank goodness for Mark! He was so helpful, a great teacher, and showed no signs of being irritated or frustrated despite all of our questions! He seemed happy to help and it seems he loves to use his brain and extensive knowledge of hardware to solve difficult puzzles like we had today.Honestly everyone we spoke to in the short time we were there was very friendly and provided great service. So much appreciated, especially these days!Thank you Mark and friends!

I used to shop at Home Depot quite a bit. However, their customer service has become fairly bad. I prefer the smaller hardware stores where you can get better help and advice. Recently, an online Home Depot purchase I made offered $5 off for signing up on their email list. What they actually sent was a $5 off $50 purchase coupon that had already expired 2 months previously. How ridiculous. I am still giving 3 stars as they have a lot of good items, but that might be generous based on my experience in the past few years.

My family loves our Home Depot 💗 we have gone to other hardware stores and not been able to find the things that we've been able to find at home Depot ❣️ One stop shop ❣️ plus the employees are super friendly and always willing to help, no matter what home Depot I've been to they've always been there to help ❣️

I work for a fencing company and we do a gift card daily for our employees, I go in about once a month to pick up these gift cards and check out with the pro-desk. The last couple of times it has been Dave helping me and he always remembers me and is always smiling and cracking jokes. He is always pleasant and helpful as I know ringing up 30 gift cards can be tedious and annoying but he is always so great. I was going to do a survey today and when I returned and put in the User ID and Password on my receipt it was telling me a survey had already been completed under that info which is not possible... Anyway 1 star for the issue I'm having with the survey and codes on my receipt but 5 stars for Dave at the pro-desk.

Big box stores really are the place that plants go to die period just went in to go and look at some house Plants seen a whole basket full of them PERIODLooks like they might be getting marked down, but little to my surprise the whole cart is getting thrown away. Worst experience I've had at my "home" home Depot. Returns and customer service was super understaffed which I am okay with. Customer service agent called for backup as I was returning items from a job just completed. Greg was called to help. Greg came to the desk with a smugg look on his face. I already preorganized my receipts so I handed him my 4 receipts that included items bought at different times. He said to me "allot of receipts there bud" in a not very Home Depot(y) way. I asked him "if that was a problem. Home Depot is like my second home He then said that he will let someone else help me and started walking away. Never in my 10 years of coming to this home Depot have I ever been treated this way. GREG needs to retrain his customer service skills and also ignored that there were other customers waiting behind me. Very disappointed in your staffing. Please do better HOME DEPOT.

I absolutely love Home Depot. I regrettably visited Lowes and 30 minutes later left. I asked 3 associates for assistance to recieve NO help. I went to Home Depot & was greeted, and helped. Nicole at Kearns location was phenomenal. For now on.. only Home Depot for me!!

The Home Depot has had a steady decrease in service.When I visited this store years ago I was constantly approached to be assisted by an expert in the store and a specific department. The employees know the store and what they were talking about.In my experience this is simply no longer the case.I can never find an employee.When I find an employee the do not know where to direct me and typically revert to their hand held device for any information. (Just so you know I also looked on your Web site and couldn't find the answer because I couldn't find an employee and the Web site didn't have an answer for me so it probably won't for the employee either)I tried to buy an impact with the battery and charger.This seems such a simple task. The cordless tools always have the tool only or you can get a starter pack with a charger and battery and it is overall a lesser price. This has always been the case and is still the case. If I go to the Web site I can select this option and have it delivered with out any problems. The employees knew nothing of this and just told me it was not an option and they would have to charge me full price for the tool and starter pack and I could not get this as a combination package. The web sight listed that this store had 17 of what I wanted in stock.So I was told to buy it online and arrange store pick up or delivery. REALLY.They lost my business if I wanted to wait I would have ordered this from the manufacturer or Amazon for less money.So that's what I did.The second item I wanted was a tool box. It is a 30 gallon Milwaukee tool box. Nice product and they had it in stock. The problem is it was on the front wall and I could not reach it. I waited for 15 more minutes and no one pulled the product.This visit was over an hour and I left with nothing because I could not get help on two expensive purchases.I'll go to the blue place from now on.

I enjoy coming to this Home Depot in Kearns. Always have the part or tool that I need. Staff is usually friendly and knowledgeable on where to find what I am looking for. Generally not too busy during the noon hours, busier in the evening when everyone is off work. Parking is a little tight but I usually park near the back to avoid getting my SUV dinged by another vehicle.

i take alot of abuse being a lowly contractor, normally i take my licks like everyone else. but to have to have id or a receipt to swap sizes on some door trim.. thats ok i just paid cash for the right size. aggravating enough to loose my wallet be treated like that in a place i spend over 50 racks a year at. Never again. i promise that NEVER again.

We had an excellent experience in purchasing beautiful carpet and super nice Lifeproof pad through Joseph in Flooring at West Valley City Home Depot. Installation was done by their partners at Western States Flooring who did an excellent job. We are thrilled with the results and have had many compliments.

Normally, my husband and I love Home Depot. We choose to shop here over Lowes. Customer service is usually outstanding. Not so much at this location. We moved here from TX a couple of months ago. The customer service in this store has come up short every time. We've kept going back because everyone has a bad day, and we realize businesses are short-handed in these times. But our visit on March 15th around 7pm took the cake. It was NOT busy; there were only a few customers. I asked for help 2x. I stood in the power tool section, waiting for the "only employee" that I was told could help me, but she was making keys for other people. A few feet away there were 4 cashiers standing around, laughing and having a good time with each other but not helping anyone. I waited almost 15 minutes just standing there. When the employee finally got to me, she was very short and rude, like it was a bother to help me. She helped me quickly, handed me what I asked for, didn't answer any questions, and was gone. I needed more help and found her a few mins later, just standing chatting with the other 3 or 4 employees. When I asked her for help again, she again very rudely helped me as quickly as she could and seemed bothered that I was even asking questions. I was spending approx. $300. You'd think 5 mins wouldn't be such a bother? They obviously were not short-handed, after seeing everyone standing around for about 30 mins. Maybe they need some training in other areas of the store? At the very least, they need some customer service training. See pic of 3 of them just standing around, chatting and laughing. It was like this for 30 mins, however most the time it was right in the aisle in front of the cash registers. I have never had such aweful service at a Home Depot. We spend thousands there annually. I definitely would not recommend this location.

If I could give this store a 0/5, I would. I spend $3500 on a slider door and side door for my house in early July. They arrived September 1, and the slider frame was completely bent, but home depot still sent it knowing it was un usable. It took them ONE MONTH to come pick it up. The new one finally got delivered 10/28, weeks after it was scheduled to come. Kelly, who schedules door installs was supposed to call 10/25. I still haven't heard from her, and it's 11/1. I have left 3 voicemails on her phone. I sent my mom down to home depot today because she leaves at 3, and i'm not off work before then. Kelly wouldn't even come out to talk to her face to face. So is so incompetent. My mom finally got someone to help schedule, that sorta knew what they were doing, and that install isn't until 11/21. They want this giant door to just sit in my driveway for a total of one month? I'll be surprised if someone doesn't just throw a rock at it before then shattering the glass. I've had the other door and all the installation products in my back bedroom since 9/1, and they refuse to install the doors separately. I plan on getting the $1600 install fee back and hiring someone else that is more competent with their job to install it. If I were you, I would stay away from this home depot. Especially if you need anything installed.

The employees at this store need training. I went to return 8 boxes of flooring because I purchased to many. The employee kept telling me, after sliding my Home Depot card, that I was 9 days out of their 90 day return policy. I told him I made the flooring purchase with my Home Depot credit card, (which I had just swiped), and it should be 365 days. He then said All returns are 90 days. I asked him when that policy changed and he said he didn't know.The policy is still 365 days according to the Home Depot website. My purchase did not fall within any of the exceptions mentioned on their website, and it was not a special order. I was shorted $80 on my return because he gave me the price of what the boxes are selling for now, not what I paid.This is not the first time I had issues with this store. When I purchased the flooring, I needed help loading it in my van because it's heavy and I'm disabled, which can easily be seen by looking at me. I was parked under the loading area. Two employees were walking past and I asked them if they could help me. They said they would be right back out. After standing there for 10 minutes I walked back in the store, and in the front of the store, one of the guys was on the computer and the other was standing around talking with other employees and drinking a soda. I had to ask them again if they could help me load the flooring I had just purchased or if they could find someone to help me.

I had to ask 4 times for help with a washer and dryer. I waited for 30 minutes before is did get help. I told the girl that I needed a gas dryer. She sold me an electric one. I should have looked before I left the store, but I don't know why she didn't pick the gas dryer. Now I have to wait for who know how long, to exchange the electric for gas. I should send the store manager my bill for the laundromat. Worst store and service. I will go out of my way to go to another location.

They delivered a gas stove. My 85 year old mother smelled gas. They said they'd be back in 2 days. They told her to pull out the stove and turn off gas. Worst customer service ever

Massive store. All the things you’ll need for any DIY project. Went in for some sparkle and left with so much more. The deals are always good. The return policy even better :). I do think I’ll use everything I got though. Staff was helpful. Plenty of parking. Definitely flog back for more.

Unfortunately had the worst experience I’ve had at Home Depot, here. First I couldn’t find the kind of cart I needed, so I waited around and walked the parking lot which is fine. After getting hot and frustrated I started checking for empty ones in the store just to find out they were all sitting around with inventory on them and there’s already few to begin with but I made do. Later I needed help from an employee, and he was happy to help. But after looking up the item I was searching for the manager snapped at him for not getting into a group picture they were taking for a retiring employee. I was floored that she would do that in front of a customer and make me wait another several minutes. I took a picture of this for my boss in case I got asked about how long my trip to HD took, this made her realize how unprofessional she was and she came over to tell me where my item was, which wasn’t even the right heat shrink I was asking about, so I went back over to find that they were still standing there in a group not paying attention to customers. And I didn’t get asked how my experience was either.
