I really dislike that they didn't have 1 checker open. I had a pretty big haul and was there with my 2 year old . It definitely loses part of their customer service. They should really have at least 1 checker open for these situations.

Fantastic grocery store 👍the best of the stores I have visited here in Utah . Fresh, nice and with decent prices, good quality food and a lot to choose from. Good service towards the customers from the staff. Just keep it up 👍

Not happy with Smith’s pricing the pints of ice cream that used to be $1.25 is now $2.49. I get it everything is going up but if you walk around the store and look at their prices you will see that most things are just outrageous price. This used to be my favorite store Not so much anymore.

This place sucks I went to get strawberries and half of them were either growing mold or so completely bruised they looked like olives. the deals are good but if you value your health, you better reconsider which store you go to

Had a pick-up oder, I call to let them know I won't be able to make it between 4-5 employees said "no problem" got there at 830 and checked in call the line at 845 no answer went inside only to find out they closed early. Wouldn't be so bad but it was last minute Thanksgiving stuff. I hope to hell I don't have to go in on Wednesday to pick up everything.

I'm not okay with the way Smith's treats the students from Hunter high. Today I watched an employee pick up two backpacks, throw them out of the enclosed entrance. As she yelled she was sick and tired she then yelled at three young women, high school students. I reported it to the manager. She said backpacks aren't allowed. I pointed out that the students are paying customers. They deserve respect. I'm suggesting that maybe corporate should revisit their store policies and how to impose them on paying customers.

Said they couldn't sell my partner a beer because I didn't have an ID on me. I know for a fact I don't need I'd if I'm not paying. I'm also 25 years old and 23 weeks pregnant so its pretty obvious I'm not drinking

Awful experience. One cashier with 11 people in line with full baskets of case lot sale items. Went to self checkout and the machines take forever. I would scan an item and be 2 more items past that and the machine would yell put the last 2 items back out of your bag. The Hispanic man running it was very testy when he had to come fix it. I have cashiered before and I am fast and proficient. My last trip EVER to Smiths. WinCo here we come

I don't know what they think but every time I go through the self check I have to have them come check before payment.I'm not trying to steal from them but apparently I can't even be trusted to do there job. Time to shop somewhere else.

I've always enjoyed shopping there until recently. Close to my house. Decent prices. The produce quality was terrible. The cut fruit looked old. The bananas were awful. There were so many employees with earbuds in. And not one person asked me anything. Except when it can to the check out. Dakota looked me in the eye, asked me how I was. Looked me in the eye, when she was done, and said have a good day.

Poorly trained staff completely lacking any customer service skills. Three days ago I purchased an item in the store. Tonight when I was about to open it I noticed that the packaging had a cut in it. I understand that accidents with box knives are unavoidable so instead of opening it I ran over to the store to exchange it for another. When I asked a cashier about it she referred me to her manager. The manager indicated that she didn't know how and I would have to come back when customer service was open and "managers" we're available. Any idiot knows that you don't even need a cash register for a straight up (exact same product) product swap. You replace the item with an undamaged item and then follow local procedures for damaged items. Instead this woman decided to alienate a long term customer with witless excuses to not do her job. Winco is cheaper and only a little farther away.Bye bye Smith's

I usually love Smith's but this one has a lot of room for improvement. If you are going to gouge for fresh fruit and produce at least make sure it is not squishy and going bad. Whenever you have produce or fruit on sale now it is because no one bought it when it was expensive and now that it is half bad you put it on special. Also not the first time that item that say they are on sale have tags from the week before and are priced wrong. The uscan is a nightmare yet you have 15 of them and all of them keep saying place item in bag or call attendant. A lot of the time clearance items will not scan, this one can learn a lot from the Smith's on Bengal Blvd they have amazing products and amazing customer service.

Such a low class location. How do you stock during the busiest time of the day for the shoppers? Actually watched the meat person run an entire full pallet into a woman on a scooter
I don’t work here. There should be at least one register open.The meat is so overpriced for the quality. Some of it shouldn’t even be legal (and likely isn’t) to sale.They treat everyone like they are a thief with the corrals, camera, locks etc which I barley care about outside of how tacky it is, but then want to force and trust me to check myself out?

C'mon Smiths. You guys knew there was a spill, someone put a sign down and some kind of gel packs that made the floor worse and when you get told someone nearly broke their neck on that mess, 15 minutes later, the spill is still there. 😳The store was awful. Spills in multiple aisles, and I know they weren't being cleaned up. No carts and we had to repack our order.

Market fresh everyday my a—. Produce is always bad or expired. I went the other day to get baby carrots. They had about 8 bags available and every single one was expired. The oldest expired in August! If I place an online order, it’s guaranteed I get bad produce. Moldy, brown or mushy. Not to mention the cost isn’t the best, so I’m paying for moldy expired food I throw right into the garbage. It’s not just this location either. This place is more like an expensive Grocery Outlet. Gross. Winco has better produce than these stores now days.

Management is the worst, All the baggers and cashiers are put under so much stress, do not work here. The management has baggers who slack off multiple times, do multiple no call no shows and yet fire / punish the avid workers, made young workers work in horrible blizzard conditions and never tried to help them even with jackets, blankets, or gloves. Every good bagger or cashier has sadly quit the building OR they are really dreading their job, you can see it in their faces. The management team builds up so much hostile and drama in the store its insane. Ryan / Management has a nasty habit of firing / punishing workers that they just simply choose not to like. Sometimes there's no one at customer service because they are short staffed for obvious reasons.. no one wants to actually do their jobs as management. the adults do not have lunches at their job, even if they have full time. you only get 15 minute breaks, randomly and rarely. The leniency at this store is utterly revolting. Too many courtesy clerks are either working themselves to near death because of others that refuse to do their jobs. Those kids deserve a raise, seriously. One that stands out to me is a bagger named Matthew; taller and younger with glasses. I have heard too many complaints about him among the workers and yet nothing is being done about him. Why try so hard to keep a compulsive liar that steals company time and possibly FROM the company? After he is "finished" with carts, tell me why they still spill out of the corrals? Tell me why I always end up seeing another bagger coming out to fix HIS mess? That applies to many other lazy baggers as well. So sad seeing the good ones picking up the slack of those who would rather sit in the break room or roam around in the store. So disgusting to see, and will take my business elsewhere. I wish I could rate this store a 0/5, but 1/5 will do I guess.

Smith is one of my favorite places to shop it's right near my house within walking distance actually customer service is always great clean and tidy I'm not worried about catching an illness by touching their shopping carts like other grocery stores that I've been to

The theft prevention measures that all the local smith's are taking make shopping here hell. There's these gates now which corral everyone into cramped entries, the U-Scan is incredibly aggressive and if i hear "please place item in the bagging area" one more time i am going postal. You can't even self checkout ice anymore, which i am not sure what difference it makes for theft prevention. I will not be shopping at any smith's or kroger stores in the future. to hell with ya.

We just moved here from Ogden and the pharmacy staff has done everything in their power to make me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.They questioned my daughters prescription but decided not to call anyone to verify, they talked as loud as possible 3 times to other people about how inconvenient I made them by having her prescription sent here because it's the closest to where we moved to.The said a 30 minute wait and it's been 45 and they are pushing it behind again for other customers.
