10/10, period—these guys are top notch! Professionalism, friendliness, efficiency, communication & quality—just superb, well done gentlemen! I needed a new set of tires (on Easter Sunday), and was seen immediately without an appointment and left feeling so grateful for their service. Went in today to get an alignment & oil change. Both visits were quick, efficient and friendly. I’ve only recently moved to Utah, and it is so refreshing to find an honest and trustworthy body shop that isn’t going to rip you off or talk to you like you’re stupid. I didn’t feel like I was being hustled or overcharged… I felt like I was paying for quality work from skilled professionals and peace of mind. I cannot say enough positive things about the people working at this shop! During both of my visits a manager and a mechanic came out to talk to me and took me back into the Bay Area to point out and explain exactly what was going on & offer their professional recommendations. Even though the shop was a little understaffed today, I was still greeted immediately and service was seamless. Daniel made sure that I was well informed throughout the process, and even though they were really busy he still took the time to explain everything to me in detail. I feel so fortunate to have found this shop (from google reviews), and I am hoping my review leads someone else in need to these wonderful people! This is one of the more customer service oriented shops I’ve been in, and I will recommend them highly to anyone in need. Thank you Daniel & team!

This Pep Boys provides A1 service. They go above and beyond to help you. Daniel is definitely an asset to this company. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and compassionate in what he does, he's also is very emphatic which is a great quality to have when you're dealing with people that are stressed out over car issues. I had to come in twice within two weeks for unrelated issues. I said it before and I will say it again, they all definitely deserve a raise there. Thank you for the quality work!!

I brought my Tesla in to get a slow leak fixed as a walk-in and Bruce was still able to accommodate me. He showed great adaptability by taking advantage of a cancellation and got my car in and out. He understood how valuable my time was and respected it just like his own. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone needing work done.

Jason was great to work with.He made sure to show us different options at different price points. After my wife and I settled on the tires we wanted, he explained in simple terms what he was planning on doing. The work was quick and it runs great, everyone was helpful but especially Daniel was above and beyond. He helped me, along with several others apparently, to get Hertz to honor their pre-paid maintenance coupons since they've decided to push back on it. Awesome place.

These guys did amazing, I had a serious ac compressor, pulley and starter issue and they worked tirelessly to diagnose the vehicle and try every avenue to get me on the road with my budget. 6 stars if they’d let me. Daniel, Bruce and Jason specifically are studs. Come here

Got an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection for $52. Service guy was both friendly and competent. He gave me a printout of recommended future routine maintenance. The work was done in about an hour. Not 5 stars because my phone number was read out loud to verify my appointment; maybe use the last 4 digits.

As someone who doesn't know much about cars it is always intimidating coming in to get service done on my vehicles but Daniel & the staff put all your worries at ease & never push to try & sell. I can not comment on anyone other than Bruce, he was the only one I had contact with. From the moment I walked in I felt negative energy from him, but I just brushed it off, because I get that people can have bad days, and I try not to take everything so seriously. The rude attitude continued and I started to feel like maybe this guy just doesn’t like women or something.. I dunno, at this point I didn’t really know what else to think. Strange to be treated so rudely when you go somewhere to spend money on a service. I left my car there for an oil change, but I didn’t feel comfortable picking it up by myself, especially after the rude phone call I got when I declined the extra work that “needed to be done”. I took my boyfriend this time and we still got the same treatment. At this point we ended up telling Bruce that there was no reason for him to be so disrespectful and rude, but he didn’t care. I work close by and used to go to pep boys all the time. There were always really nice people working there. I haven’t been back in a while, because I had this same experience with Bruce the last time I went in. Some people just shouldn’t work with the public and he is definitely one of them. I won’t be returning. That’s a good way to lose business. There is definitely some things I need fixed on my vehicle, but due to the customer service I will be taking my business elsewhere.Here is an update to my review: I contacted another mechanic regarding my breaks after the almost $700 quote from Pep Boys and he said there is absolutely nothing wrong with my rotors and the noise we were hearing was basically just a warning that the pads were getting low. Im am appalled that pep boys would try to take advantage like that. How many other people go in there and this happens? Your mom, sister, daughter… anyway, my breaks have been replaced and everything is working great!

Had a “mixup” with scheduling at the PepBoys in Murray- called West Valley, and Daniel went out of his way to make sure I got taken care of, even without an appointment and on a busy day. Very honest in their work and genuinely great people all around. Also no annoying sales pitches!!!

A+ without a doubt! First Bruce, who really knows his stuff, helped me figure out what services I could use. Then, once there, the manager was maybe the easiest person to talk to in the whole world. My appointment was for a pre-purchase assessment for a car I wanted to buy. At the conclusion, Andy from the shop personally gave me every detail I really, really wanted to know BEFORE I put out many thousands of dollars on a used car. WOW, all around!

Every time i come here they get me done very quickly! I brought my tesla in for a general maintainance, and i came in earlier than my appointment to give them extra time and they had me in and out before my appointment time! Thank you Bruce and Crew! Second time my tire popped and got me in an out within 20 minutes!

They effectively diagnosed an HO2S22 (a more complex oxygen sensor), causing a check engine light. Solved the problem. They are experts. And the price was good. I would highly recommend them if you need help with diagnostics and troubleshooting. They will get you lined up.

Daniel and the team at this location provided me with excellent service. The original issue of my car overheating was investigated twice at the Murray Pep Boys, but in both cases, the issue was incorrectly addressed, and I was dissatisfied with the service. On coming to the West Valley location, Daniel was immediately concerned with the work that had been done at the Murray location and contacted his supervisor to have a full inspection and engine check done free of charge in compensation for all my problems. When I brought my car in to this location, it was leaking coolant and not heating properly. Daniel brought me into the workshop to show me that the Murray location had replaced the thermostat but had reused the same thermostat housing, causing a crack and leak in the housing. The team here replaced the thermostat and housing free of charge and very quickly. My car runs great and I am very happy with the service. Can highly recommend the team here.

This location is amazing, particularly if you're a Hertz Uber Driver. Daniel always takes care of me right away and the coffee is fantastic. They fix Teslas too, which takes them tothe next level. i cannot recommend enough.
