We stopped in to look. Ended up taking home Sitka. He was a pup that ended up breaking his leg jumping out of his pen. Needed a plate in his leg because of it, but he's doing great and has healed up just fine. He's still a jumper. He'll barrel out of the car window to get to the gate at the dog park.Best road trip buddy we could have asked for, he loves car rides and has been in great health ever since.

Unfortunately it experience has been a nightmare. The sales process for our new puppy with Chris went great, but when we got home we noticed a lump on her shoulder. We brought her back to Puppy House, the representative verified the lump, and were told to take her to the vet and submit the bill for payment. Once the bill was submitted, we were then refused reimbursement and told they would only pay if we could prove it was a genetic disorder! Unbelievable. Then, on top of it all, were were provided paperwork to register our puppy with the International Canine Association -- only to learn that the registration code was incorrect. It took a week to receive the proper codes, only to learn that the name (and possibly the actual dog) of our actual puppy's mother is now apparently different! It has now been almost 3 weeks and we are STILL waiting on confirmation of our puppy's mother's information (breed, size, color, etc.). While we understand that breeders are involved, this level of delay and lack of communication is simply unacceptable. And being misled regarding reimbursement for a condition that the puppy was received in is simply unprofessional. Buyer beware.

Cute puppy’s but the sellers are a scam, they put pressure to have the puppy and also they don’t tell you about everything, they told me that a had to take my puppy to the vet for a puppy check and they would cover the appointment and they didn’t, I try to talk to them and would say “everything is in the contract”. Overall please be careful to read everything and ask all the questions, don’t be scam by those people!!!

We purchased our mini poodle in Feb of 2024. It was an amazing experience. We love our little girl.

Came in to look at some puppies with my husband. Had a great conversation with Tessa, who was a worker helping us out. We were holding one of the puppies and had a nice conversation with her, and exchanged information as we are business owners and wanted to help make a connection for her as she has thought about starting her own business. The manager pulled us aside and accused us of being in an illegal pyramid scheme and that pyramid schemes are illegal in Utah and then kicked us out of the store. I literally will never come back here because of the way we were treated. Such poor management.

The puppies are obviously very cute, but my heart breaks on how they are treated. The puppies are kept in clear glass boxes and are not let out unless you are serious about buying one. If a movement came out to shut down all puppy store locations I would give it my full support. This is just sad and inhumane.

Please read all of the 1 star reviews VERY carefully before making any decisions. IF you still decide to do business with them, get a copy of all of the paperwork you sign BEFORE YOU LEAVE and make very detailed records of every conversation you have with them.

One thing I don't see anyone mentioning is they pressure you into financing through a company called EasyPay which charges up to 164% APR!!! They do this rather than offering it through a traditional local bank because this company will approve anyone, so it means more purchases of puppies from uneducated, low income individuals that can be prayed on.Additionally, they will sell a dog to anyone. My partner was a 14 year old, first time dog owner in a studio apartment. They allowed his mom to get him a husky. Allowing a husky to first time dog owners, in 120 degree heat, in a one bedroom apartment, all while pressuring a 147% APR contract (Over $10,000 for her after principle and interests) is predatory, and borderline animal abuse.I just wish I had met my partner earlier, the husky in bad shape because nobody ever taught them how to properly care for that kind of high maintenance animal. She is in a better home now that I was able to step in, but I wish I could have talked them out of such a terrible decision.I won't even go into the treatment of animals here, and how many of them have defects, like missing hair, slow reactions, and lethargic, likely as a result of using breeders that barely meet minimum ethical standards (Our husky only grew to 30 pounds at maturity). There are millions of dogs that get euthanized every year because they can't get into homes. Look into adopting, but if you want a purebred, please get it from a known breeder, that humanly treats their puppies and breeders, and doesn't prey on uneducated consumers with APRs 7 times that of the federal recommended maximum.

ZERO STARS!!! They don’t offer that here do they? But they should! These people are deceitful and lie. I bought an AKC yorkie there and was told they would send and pay for my puppy to get her AKC paperwork done. It’s been 6 months now and they haven’t done anything. And now they are temporarily closed? How convenient. Do not buy anything from these people. Not to mention, my puppy had kennel cough for months afterwards. I didn’t think she was going to make it through!

TLDR: They sold us a sick puppy! They should have noticed there was an issue, it was obvious when we got him home. I feel like the only thing that matters to them is making money and puppies are just an item to profit from, like a dirty puppy mill. IF you do buy there, don't sign their arbitrary agreement, and beware of the part that says you are bringing home a puppy that isn't sick (yet they have a part in the contract in case you have a sick puppy). They will do anything to sell you a puppy even lie.*edit: To respond to the comment from puppy house. Sure, you will cover up to $500 of medicine in the first 5 days of bringing him home. His ear medicine was $25, that's fine. I'll wait [up to two months] to have that retuned. What about the cost for an urgent care visit and to get his ears flushed? That was $155 that normally wouldn't have been necessary for his first vet visit. What about the follow up care he needs because he is sick? Will I be reimbursed for that? I can tell his ears feel a little bit better, but he is still sneezing a lot and his nose is still stuffy (we have had him for 12 days now).*Edit: I just had to make another appointment today because on top of his sneezing, stuffy nose and his sniffles, he has started to cough. Another vet bills and maybe more medicine. We have had him 14 days now. Vet cleared him to be with our other dogs. Hopefully it isn't contagious or we will have to treat our other three dogs, too. I'll update........ Puppy had to get antibiotics, a pill for coughing, and eye and nose drops.Anyway, He is STILL having a hard time sleeping because he has been so uncomfortable. It's been awful watching him suffer and I have been worried sick. Look, puppy house, if this was an isolated incident I would be more understanding. I *definitely* wouldn't have written a whole novella on Google! All of the other reviews that have been posted, and the 3.5 rating, speak volumes! I just want other people to be able to decide if it's worth the risk of getting a sick puppy, or if it's morally OK, to shop at this store. He isn't the first puppy to suffer, and I highly doubt he will be the last. 😥 I am SO happy this little dude is part of our family, I love him so much.... but I am ashamed and embarrassed that I gave this business money.Side note: They will try to be pushy and rush you through the process. If you decide to purchase a puppy, take your time. The financing is just barely under 180% interest. We were very fortunate we were able to pay that off. Be aware of the reviews where people got scammed with the financing. It's not just sick puppies either, they are selling puppies that are WAY too young. A vet tech told me they are supposed to be sixteen weeks old when they leave their families, our puppy was NINE weeks old when we brought him home.Original post: I went into the store so I could hug a puppy not knowing I would fall in love. He sneezed, but puppies sneeze sometimes. 🤷‍♀️We went to see him again the next day, he shook his head and he did scratch his neck, but again, puppies do that. 🤷‍♀️I didn't spend enough time with him at the store to realize how often it was happening. I didn't notice the sore in his ear. I didn't know there was a problem until we decided to bring him home the next day. There is no way the employees didn't notice he was having issues, if they sincerely didn't notice, that is still neglect.Vets were closed until Monday. I was willing to go to emergency vet if he went down hill quickly. Called vet first thing Monday. We got an appointment for a 3 days later, but puppy was in so much pain/discomfort that night that he couldn't sleep. Puppy was MISERABLE. I stayed up with them worried sick. Had to get an urgent vet appointment which is way more expensive and SUPRISE, Puppy House doesn't cover vet costs. Puppy was diagnosed with a severe ear infection.I know it's hard leaving puppies at a store let alone a sick puppy, but this place needs to be shut down. Please do not give them any money.

It was a disaster I brought home what I thought was a happy healthy puppy but I didn't! She had terrible diareah for weeks & still coughs a persistent, croupy, raspy chronic cough & antibiotics don't help at all. Glad city closed Puppy House indefinitely that night.Ren'ee C.Helpless in Uhah

They won't let you hold a puppy unless you give them a good review. This is an attempt for them to combat bad reviews by bribing people for good ones. They even say they need to verify the review by letting them see it. It's just..gross.

STAY AWAY. When you shop here you are supporting animal abuse. These puppies are not walked, they are not socialized, which is critical for their development. They spend their entire day in tiny cages. I walked in and the first puppy was eating his own vomit, the next had diarrhea. Both of these issues are major concerns for small puppies. Do yourself a favor and check the Better Business Bureau. Then head to a reputable breeder, or even better... the shelter.

Puppy House is the best out there! The puppies are happy and healthy and the staff are very friendly and you can tell they really care for the pups. The paperwork on the puppies is impressive with a lot of them having championships on their pedigree and others parents being OFA tested. I bought my 2 Pugs from them and LOVE them to death! They are very happy and healthy! I plan on getting many more Pugs from them in my life.

I would give this a negative if I could, their puppies are adorable but you can tell that the puppies are coming from puppy farms. Some of the puppies were missing hair around their neck that looked similar to a rope burn or scar. They had very little bedding in the pens where the floor was exposed and no padding to lay down or for comfortability. Most of the pens were covered in feces with the dogs trampling through it. I asked the employee if the puppies slept in the pens and they said yes. That is entirely inhumane!! There was no food or water in the pens nor toys. The puppies were eating their own throw up and feces. The puppies in the cages also had no bedding, food or water! This place should be shut down for ABUSE!

These guys are HORRIBLE and so inhumane with the puppies- they need to be shut down- PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE unless you want your dog to have issue after issue and once those issues come up they will not take an ounce of accountability or help you out in any way shape or form! All they want is your money!!!!! Those poor poor puppies!Karma is coming

Purchased a beautiful Auggie puppy there 3 days ago. The experience was good until we got her home. Upon getting home she started vomiting and wouldn’t eat. The next day, she was even worse so we took her to an emergency vet. The cost was $280. They checked for the parvovirus and thankfully that was not the issue. They then decided she might have a stomach ulcer due to the color of her vomit. They medicated her and so far she doing much better. We talked to the folks at the store about what happened. They felt bad about what happened and completely reimbursed us for the vet bill that was incurred. I don’t blame puppy house for the puppy’s illness as it was not something they could have controlled or predicted. I was impressed with the way they handled the situation when they found out about the illness. Paying the vet bill and apologizing for the situation was exactly what I hoped they would do.

Love our puppy. He was healthy when we bought him and we haven’t had any issues with that. He was VERY overpriced but came with AKC registration and we bought him knowing how hard it is to come by Dalmatians. We’ve been looking at registered breeders for over a year for this breed but hadn’t pulled the plug. The staff made all kinds of promises when we were signing paperwork that just hasn’t been fulfilled yet. The most important to me is his parents genetic testing that they said would be available in two weeks. It’s been a month and I’ve called once or twice a week with no results. I’m giving two stars because he’s healthy and seemed to be socialized with other dogs and people. He’s a great dog but I’m not sure if that’s BECAUSE of The Puppy House or DESPITE them.I’d be happy to change my review once I finally get information about his parents! That’s so huge for me.

I walked by the Washington store last night and noticed a puppy still in the same little glass box that I had seen her in 2 months ago! It broke my heart and kept me up all night. This morning I decided I was going to get her out because I just couldn’t take it.I asked the two women there multiple times about her health, history, parents health etc. they assured me she had been checked by a vet and was healthy. They said the parents were health tested but they didn’t have the records, but would request them. The lady basically told me to trust her. They kept saying “we take good care of our puppies”I asked if I could see how the puppy would interact with me on the floor because I had only seen her laying down in that glass box (intuition?) They told me they could not let her on the floor until she was purchased. I felt so bad for this poor puppy that had spent the last 2 months in this little box that I let my emotions out speak my logic. I ended up purchasing her and carrying her out to the car, I never put her down long enough to check her out until we got home. I immediately noticed her back legs were turned out and she walked funny, kind of tipping from side to side then falling over. I called the vet and took her in immediately. The vet confirmed that her hind legs are seriously deformed.I went straight back to puppy house and showed them the vet paperwork and asked for a refund. They told me they wouldn’t give me one, that they had to file a “claim” I told them I wouldn’t leave without a refund and they called the police and had me trespassed from the store. I am sad and angry and feel so bad for this poor puppy.I also did not receive any AKC paperwork. When I asked about it later, they said it would be emailed, which I highly doubt after all of this and reading other reviews.

Bought a beautiful little mini poodle pup from them. Happy, healthy and alert! Well socialized because of all of the visits and handlings from those coming into the store. Transition from store to home was very easy and not at all stressful--puppy is extremely well-adjusted.. Great vet tech--clearly she loves animals.Update: Yard guys left gate open and my puppy got out. Called Puppy House and they immediately notified the company that registered her micro-chip. Puppy House staffer was very kind and helpful and took immediate action to help me! (Puppy was found.)

We bought a puppy a month ago. When we were purchasing the puppy, the staff was attentive and energetic. However, when we made a purchase, everything changed. They promised to send documents ASAP, but one month has already passed, and we haven’t received anything from them. When we call them, they say that they will call us later but never keep the promise. It’s extremely frustrating to deal with this business. If I knew about their customer service, I would never buy from them.
