They have done an amazing job on my senior citizen pup! My pup has issues with accidents and biting while being groomed and they have always been understanding and patient with her. She still gets a fantastic cut every time and they are able to work with her so much to give her the teddy bear face! I love this place and will keep coming back.

Give a dog a bone is awesome. I can trust them to board my dog and cats for a couple days and I know they’ll be taken care of. I’ve taken my dog here to be groomed and he loves it. He always comes out smelling so fresh and looking so good. Casey is amazing with her clients and takes pride in her work.

I had a great experience here. Rachel is the one who groomed both my pitties and did great with them. My male pit is very timid and scared of everything but she made sure to make him comfortable and took her time with him. She also did great with my girl pit who gets aggressive with nail cutting. She handled the situation very well and professionally. I will definitely be going here for every groom.

We are regular customers at give a dog a bone. We love Casey and the care she shows for our 2 high strung anxiety ridden dogs. Our 11-year-old schnauzer went through a few groomers before we were able to find Casey. The others had trouble grooming him because of his hatred of his ears being touched or because he is in general an irritable grump. Casey is very patient with him, and both dogs end up looking perfect. We have an appointment prescheduled so it's one less thing to think about. I couldn't recommend a better place to take your dogs.

I will only take my pups to Give A Dog A Bone, to Casey! Casey is absolutely amazing! It doesn’t seem to matter how busy they are, she always makes sure my pups get pampered and leave happy. I would recommend her to everyone! She treats them as though they were her own fur babies and it means more than I can say. It’s not often that your dog gets excited to go get groomed, but mine sure do! They run through the door and can’t wait to see her.

Went on vacation with our fur babies. After our trail rides, they needed a bath and one needed a nail trim for a broken nail. Luckily, they were able to squeeze us in before our trip home. The girls were super friendly and our pups were clean and fresh. Very happy with the service. If we lived close, they would be our permanent grooming and boarding facility.

We’ve taken our dogs other places for boarding and sometimes the dogs come back acting skittish. Dogs can’t tell you what happened. One of our dogs has an intimidating bark but is the sweetest girl, and the other is the least judgmental dog and is a friend to everyone. At Give a Dog a Bone, whenever I pick up the dogs, the dogs are acting like their normal selves. If our dogs do something crazy of if there’s any concerns, the workers will tell us (we have a hypochondriac dog that will limp for attention. We’ve had her knee looked at and she’s fine).We’ve also have gotten the dog groomed here. They’re good. Mandy used to always cut our dog’s hair but they’re growing and expanding so the last time we had someone else do it. They did a good job.Since the pandemic they did have to raise their prices but the extra cost is worth it because they treat the dogs the best.Photo is of our dog that was recently groomed at Give A Dog A Bone.

During my visit to Give A Dog A Bone , I encountered some unsettling situations that left me deeply disappointed & wishing there were negative review stars. Firstly, I arrived to find my dripping wet and cold Australian Shepherd sitting in a kennel without a towel, as the groomer had left to get her nails done. To make matters worse, I witnessed other dogs being mistreated, which was distressing to witness.When I expressed my concern about the mistreatment of my dog there was no apology but someone from the salon quickly took him back for blow drying. Naturally, my dog resisted going back and in front of me, she forcibly dragged him back with a choke collar, preventing his front paws from touching the ground. I was in shock. This treatment was traumatizing for both my dog and myself.When we retuned home my children noticed that a significant portion of his hair was singed, causing further distress. As a result of these incidents, I made the decision not to return to Give A Dog A Bone for future grooming appointments.I hope that my feedback can help improve the level of care and treatment provided to the vulnerable dogs at Give A Dog A Bone, as every pet deserves to be treated with respect and kindness during grooming sessions.

Shaved to the skin, Many Cuts, and No ApologiesWe had recently taken our Teacup Yorkiepoo to get groomed. This was our second time bringing him to Give a Dog a Bone. He has always been well behaved for his haircuts, he also baths very easy. We have never received a bad review on his behavior. We left instruction to have him trimmed with a Yorkie Cut. But, we received him back buzzed almost to the skin. He also had cuts all over which we had to treat with antibiotic, and clean daily. He had dozens of smaller cuts all over, and also had a large gash to the bone on his heel that has taken a month to finally close. Hair no longer grows there. He also had large cuts on his neck, chin, under his eye, and on his ear. We payed $40 and left with him before fully realizing the damage. But sent a message as soon as we did notice on the way home. We have not received any message back. For the following weeks he was too scared to be left alone, use the restroom, or even play and enjoy walks like he used to. I would reach down often to pet him and he would yelp and flinch as if I would hit him. This dog has never known violence or been hit within his home. We just had to love him and hold him and wrap his wounds until he healed. We reached out to Give a Dog a Bone, and they have yet to respond or take any responsibility. No apologies received yet. We initially chose this location because we heard they care for the dogs and love them.Despite the poor haircut, we are really only upset about the injuries, and damage that occurred, and the lack of sympathy that followed. We felt it was best we warn others of what can happen here. I wonder if by chance he was cut initially as an accident, and then was less behaved leading to a difficult grooming. But the fact he still flinches, and nips at my hand when I approach to pet him, makes me wonder if he was hit as well. We hope things get better for all parties involved.

Very friendly staff and amazing with my 3 dogs all ranging in sizes from xl to small, even the one with anxiety they are great and honestly the only place my dogs like to go the other places they have gone my dogs show signs of anxiety, they are amazing and informative if you have questions and the only place I will take my dogs

I've seen them drag dogs across the kennel. They had a poor scared little dog trapped in the corner. Her body language was threatening and instead of earning his trust gently she kept trying to grab him. He fled to a corner and cowered down. The lady then kicked him when he reacted, flung a leash around him, yanked him up drug him across the concrete. He was just scared. We were watching from the parking lot. He was crying and terrified.

We were traveling through Vernal and wanted to have our little Aussie bathed and get his nails trimmed. Give a Dog a Bone was close to our RV park, so we chose them over Petco. When I arrived little dogs were barking and Bluberry started getting nervous and trembling in my lap. But when Rachel the groomer arrived and sat down to talk with me I knew our little guy was in good hands! He looks fantastic with his little bootie trimmed down and his fur is still soft 3 days later. We’re really glad we tried this place!

We've been going here for a while now. We love they way Lora grooms our dog but she would be there for 4-5 hours for a grooming. Keep in mind she's a 13 lb morkie. I kept giving them "another chance" hoping it got better. Today I dropped our dog off for a scheduled grooming appointment at 10 a.m. I hadn't heard anything from them and called around 2:45 and got told they got behind and that she should be done around 3:30 - 4. Well she still wasn't done till 6pm when my wife just walked in to pick her up. And to top it off my wife sat and watched the groomer we scheduled the appointment with sit outside smoking with the guys from the tattoo shop next door while another groomer trimmed our dog. When asked why she wasn't the groomer they lied and said she "had to leave". DO NOT take your dogs to Give a Dog a Bone!

5 stars hands down for one of the best groomers in town! My 2 dogs, a chihuahua & a gindo/shitzu, both get groomed at the same time, and both come back looking amazing & shining their own personalities! My one has her toenails painted, and the other has her sassy tail colored. They smell great, and look great. And the best part, it doesn’t take long at all. They make you feel like a priority, and don’t waste your time. Very convenient, and super friendly!

The best cut my 6 year old schnauzer has ever had!! Amanda was able to squeeze my dog in last minute and I am so thankful. We moved from Denver area and she did better than anyone out there ever did. Best groomer I’ve ever had.

Brandy did exactly what I asked her to do while grooming my pup. My girl looks so good and smells even better! Definitely recommend taking your pup here! The staff was extremely friendly and my girl felt right at home.

I was leaving on a trip and needed my dog groomed before we left. When I made the appointment I made sure that the grooming would not take more than two hours. I get on the morning of the appointment I called and again confirmed the grooming would be done within two hours.I arrived 10 minutes early to pick my dog up. I found him wet and shivering in a kennel that was too small for him to stand in and shake himself off. It took the staff over five minutes before they even acknowledged I was in the building. He was shivering and coughing. The woman that finally came to help me said my groomer had errands to run but they would call me and my dog was ready. I told her that was not acceptable and we would be leaving. She went over to the kennel and put a choke collar on him and before I knew what was happening, she had to choke collar around his neck and was dragging him back to be dried not even allowing his front legs to touch the ground as he tried to get to me. I was in shock and didn’t say anything. They returned a few minutes later and I removed this choke collar and walked out not leaving a tip. My dogs whole body continue to shake for the entire day and upon closer inspection that evening I found multiple spots where hair was burnt and melted and even parts of his body that had been burnt. Needless to say my dog will not ever be back. If you have taken your dog here and they come back with a hair cut shorter than you expected it’s probably to cover up the fact they also burnt your dogs hair.

My dog loves this place!! Gets excited when I have to leave him and makes it so much easier seeing him so happy!! They are really sweet and caring to all of there animals !! And treat them like there own showering them with lots of love and attention!😍they even brought Santa 🎅 to the kennel for pictures!! And the cats sometimes hang out in the front even with dogs!!! This little place is busy but the staff makes all the dogs feel special!!

I have a beautiful Australian Shepherd/husky mix. Whenever we take him to get groomed, he comes out looking fabulous! During his fall shed, they must have gotten off 10 pounds of fur because he feels beautiful and he knows it!

Very friendly! My dogs get super excited everytime they walk in! We've used them for grooming and overnight boarding. Fair pricing. I won't be using anyone else.
