Good location to Bryce, but this place is pretty run down, even for a 2 star hotel. You can hear every creak of the floor above you. Every conversation and tv can be heard from either said of you. It wasn't all that clean with mildew in the shower and very dusty. The AC ran non stop and barely cooled the room off. Our TV went out constantly both nights of our stay. The phone in the room didn't work the entire time we were there. We eventually went to the front desk, but it was locked up tight and dark. It had a sign to call a number for emergencies. I ended up pulling the tv stand away from the wall and reset the direct tv box myself. It was covered in several years of dust. I had to reset it several times during the stay. You pay a premium to be close to Bryce, but that's about it. This should be a $59 a night place.

We stayed here while heading to the National Park. It's near restaurants (walking distance) and has a nice view of the mountains. BUT our room was in the back building, and behind it their was like a tailor park, and you could hear them talking. The room looked very outdated and a bit dingy. When you enter the building, you are punched with a hard smell of airfreshner. We sat outside eating an ice cream, and you had the people in the trailer park riding their dirt bikes through the parking lot. They have a laundromat with plenty of washers and dryers, but only 1 dryer worked. Everyone was waiting for that dryer.

Great location to Bryce Canyon. Check in was easy. A small grocery store is very close. That is all good. The room was a little disappointing though and needs some updating. The room itself was rather dark and needs more lighting. The shower curtain was orange on the bottom and really needs to be cleaned. The chairs in the room had stains on them. The hallway really needs some painting as the walls were all scratched up and one wall had a hole like someone kicked it. I will say the bed was comfortable and linens were clean. The breakfast was alright but at least they offered something. I will say the staff was very friendly. Not our favorite place to stay though.

1.Bad WIFI, the worst WIFI I have ever used. The Internet automatically disconnected every 5 mins, make the gaming and video a disaster experience. You will never be able to us the WIFI for anything.2. Tragic breakfast. You can only get something to drink, and maybe 2 pieces of bread.3. Too far from the Bryce canyon park, 20 mins drive. The price is also higher than it should be.

Very clean rooms. This hotel had an extremely comfortable bed with a ton of nice pillows. Each room had a microwave, coffee pot, and mini fridge. The rooms are large. The style is a little dated, but that is not a big deal. They have a large laundry room. The lobby area had very limited hours, and the meager breakfast in the lobby doesn't start until 8am.

The Red Ledges Inn is the perfect place for people who want a quiet, simple and on budget place close to the Bryce Canyon. The town is a very small one with everything you need, but nothing more. There are only a few food options. The room was ok, small but clean. The only thing that grossed us out was a nail we found on the carpet. The Breakfast was very simple.Overall a nice, very peaceful place to spend 1-2 nights.

The rates were good here at around $63 a night. The first night we got there, the AC didn’t work. We talked to the front desk and their maintenance guys came and installed a new one that blew icy cold air which was great! The hotel room was somewhat clean, the bedding and towels were all clean. There were weird stains on the carpet though and the room itself seemed very outdated. The bathroom had some dark hairs in it that definitely weren’t ours.I imagined that it would be somewhat of a dive with the rate we paid for 3 nights. The staff was super nice though upon check in and seemed very accommodating to our needs. Overall, the staff was great. The hotel itself could use some work. I don’t think I’ll be staying here again, but if you don’t mind a 70’s feel, this is the right place.

This hotel is very clean and I am a major stickler for cleanliness. I have terrible allergies so it’s important to me to have a clean room. It’s definitely dated but you can see where they are making some great revisions. I got sick and sadly had to check out a day early but the staff were extremely accommodating to that. This hotel is situated in such a charming location and has the best barbecue place right out it’s door steps. I look forward to coming back when I’m feeling better.

We stayed at Red Ledges Inn in late March of 2021. The rate was great at that time and the location of the hotel was excellent. We could walk to a number of restaurants and a grocery store was close by. Service was friendly and efficient at check in. We had a two queen room on the second floor - the room the was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a microwave and mini-fridge which worked great. TV was nice and there was WIFI for guests that met our needs. Where we stayed technically during the off-season there wasn't any kind of breakfast provided, but for the rate we paid I was okay. The grocery store right there had some goodies we could get for breakfast. We're going back to Tropic on another trip and we've already booked another stay.

Clean and comfortable. The price was a good value. Friendly staff, good location, a restaurant and market just outside. The offer a “Continental Breakfast “. Some coffee, fruit, and granola bars. They do not have an elevator, so ask for a ground floor if needed. There are a couple of restaurants that you can walk to. I walked to the end of the town and just looked around a bit. The market came in very useful to stock up for the rest of our journey.

This place is great to stay if you are visiting Bryce or any of the state parks around the area! Even though the hotel is located by the side of the freeway, the place was pretty calm and quiet. You have 2 restaurants literally next door which makes it so convenient! Our process of checking in and out was so fast and the personnel was very nice. Rooms were really clean! Fridge in the room. TV with many channels to choose from. Heater and AC in the room! And only 17 minutes away from Bryce!

The staff was so nice and accommodating. We were driving in from out of town and ended up getting there later than originally anticipated. We had very bad cell reception on our drive to Red Ledges Inn and had to pull off on when we got service to try and call to let them know we were running very late. We received their voicemail and left them a message. When we pulled into their parking lot we were a little nervous that we wouldn't have a room for that night since we were camping in Bryce Canyon the following day; only to see that the front desk had left our key for us, we were shocked and extremely grateful. The next day we were checking out and packing our car when the cleaning staff ran out to give us some clothes that we had missed when packing. The nicest! Not to mention this is the best location just right outside of the National Park and right next to a very useful general store and delicious bbq restaurant. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip out!

My friend and I sought out a stay here last minute as she was suffering from altitude sickness. Luckily, Red Ledges had a room available for us! When I called at about 7:30pm I shared that we would be there within the hour. When we arrived at the Inn at 8:05pm there was no one in the lobby, just a sign that said they would be back soon. There was no way to contact them, I tried phoning the desk multiple times during our 20-25 minute wait just to see if the call would get forwarded to another phone but it did not. When a woman finally materialized from the back (I didn’t even hear a door open, I hope she wasn’t back there the whole time), I politely let her know that we had been here for over 20 minutes, was there anything that could be done about the wait (some money off, a drink, etc) and her response was “I manage three properties.” Not an apology, not a helpful answer, just an excuse. I politely shared that moving forward it would be great if there was a way to contact the desk in situations such as these. She did not have a response. She gave us our room key and we thanked her and headed to our room. The room itself was fine, a nice reprieve from the cold but whilst on a budget. Her rudeness was a sad way to end our night.

Great value, clean room & easy accessibility to Bryce Canyon. When we arrived to the Inn my wife and I thought it wasn't going to be pleasant but once we got to our room all of those thoughts went away. We had a little issue connecting to the internet and the TV wasn't working but Lloyd came to our room very quickly and straightened everything out very quickly! Lloyd was very informative and helpful! The Inn is very close to Stone Hearth Grill, a coffee shop and a market if you need any items. Overall it experience here was great! Highly recommended!

This was an incredibly cozy, clean, and lovely place. My fiance and I booked a room with a terrific hot tub and were able to fully relax and feel stress free (even with covid and a need to travel). The owners and/or staff were accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Plus, the view of cloudy skies and the water was amazing.

A decent place to stay with most of the necessities one needs and nothing more. They've got a laundry room, free WiFi, free breakfast and a billiard room. The room I had was decent and the bathroom was clean. I can't say the same for the carpets though. The room heater was especially useful as the weather we had was about -2 Celsius after sundown (late October). The TV was large and clear and had more channels than you could ever watch. The real great thing about this place is it's location. It is in between two awesome national parks with about 20 minutes to Kodachrome Basin or Bryce Canyon national Park, via the same road. It is easy to find and worth staying at for two or three days. Do bring some extra food on your road trip as restaurants in Tropic are few, but you can use the microwave and fridge also found in your room. If you're low on fuel, there's a gas station right next to the place. I'd recommend staying here if you have a few days to look around the area.

We stayed in Red Ledges Inn, 181 N Main Street Hwy 12 / 181 N Main St, Tropic, UT during our visit to Bryce Canyon for a night. From the picture before we booked looked like it was renovated and was under new management. But in reality there are room for improvement. We asked for a mountain view room but wasn't given one. Given It is a budget hotel price point is not bad.

If you’re looking for a very basic hotel, the Red Ledges will fit the bill. Stayed here as a gateway to Bryce and it met our needs for a room, bed and ice. We appreciated the Keurig and mini fridge (we picked up yogurt at the market next door) to get our day started. Wouldn’t be our first choice if were in the area again, but no complaints. BTW - just up the road is a great short hike with beautiful views and a lovely waterfall called the Mossy cave and Windows. Definitely check that out.

Pretty good overall for the price. Clean and comfortable bed. Only major complaint was the wall unit wasn't automatic but warmed the room quickly.

Overall a great experience. The people working were friendly and helpful. There is complimentary breakfast until 9:30 with lots of options. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was also close to a lot in the town and not a far drive to Bryce Canyon. If you do stay here, try the Showdowns restaurant down the street! A wonderful, friendly atmosphere with live country music!

I really wanted to like this place but we ultimately left and got a refund because all rooms were insufficient. I'm not really one to be picky on hotel rooms, request refunds and leave but I had no choice on this one. The first room had an overwhelming smell of body odor and mildew. The second room smelt fine however when we turned the shower on, a STRONG smell of sulfur filled the room; the smell was as strong as a geyser.Staff was kind to give us a full refund and no hassle so props to that. The hotel is an older building that they've tried to remodel and flip but overall still smells a bit old. Not necessarily an issue there.

My son and I were there this Memorial Day weekend. The room was very clean, the staff was excellent, especially Kasey she works the front desk. She always greeted us, she was very helpful to are needs. There a general store and a place to eat next door. Plus a 10 minute drive to Bryce Canyon. We will be back in the future

We drove from Moab and we were super exhausted!!. I just wanted to get to our room and relax for a bit. Our room was clean. The lady in the front desk came to our room and brought us some snacks. I asked her if they have coffee in the lobby and she said “I’ll make a new batch for you”! She made my day!!. Great customer service goes along way. She’s a keeper. We’ll definitely be back. And will recommend.

It was perfect for our little get away. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The best part were the towels and the view of the valley. Within walking distance of restaurants and a grocery store/gas station. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Worst experience ever. Stay away from this place. We had a reservation for one night which was on Memorial Day weekend. I made the reservation 1.5 month in advance and paid the amount in full when making the reservation. The hotel decided to cancel my reservation just one day before our stay. How can they do that? How can we make any travel plans if hotelscancel our reservations randomly with a very short notice like this. Decent human beings would never do this to other people. We were on a road trip visiting Utah national parks. Since it was Memorial Day weekend all the hotels in the area were already fully booked by that time. We were able to find something that was 1.5 hour drive away and because of that we had to skip our planned visit to Bryce. Not sure why Expedia is working with hotels like this.
