Very friendly front desk, free grab and go breakfast each morning. Comfy beds, good shower, microwave and refrigerator. Would definitely come back!My only complaint is the parking is very difficult to maneuver with tight spaces. If the lot is full and you’re first to leave in the morning, good luck making a 10-point-turn to avoid backing up all the way into the street! However I understand there’s not much the lodge can do about that.

Wifi isn’t even usable. Don’t even bother connecting to it. Didn’t/couldn’t use it the whole time I was here.So the comforter is way too hot. Way too thick. You’re either sweating or cold in these rooms. If you half cover your going to be sweating and cold at the same time. The breakfast is solid. It’s jimmy dean breakfast sandwich.Rooms: Either too hot or too coldNearby activities: Zion obviouslyFood & drinks: There’s free breakfast in the morning. Many walkable restaurants in the area.

Ok, I am a low key, not for fancy things and don't need fluff. I could live with this place being outdated with dents in walls and in obvious need of renovations. But for $200 a night you would think at least your sheets would be clean.I just rolled my blanket to find a small blood stain clearly from previous customers. It's pretty obvious and hard to miss on white sheets. Just to give you an idea of the amount of ducks room service gave when they made the bed.If dirty sheets is not a problem for you, then this hotel has great views, perfect location and receptionist was very nice.

Large room, generous space, a lot of towels, plenty of power outlets. The bathroom has a good layout with steamy hot strong water. The overall room is good, no complaint here.Parking lots are a bit tight. Free room Wifi is bad, almost impossible to browse anything.

All of these negative reviews are insane. The parking lot is fine. The rooms are very cute and charming, equipped with mini fridge, microwave safe and standard amenities. We upgraded to the in room hot tub, literally the comfiest hot tub we've ever had, cleanest too.Speaking of cleanliness, this was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever been in. We travel a ton, and never have I walked into a hotel room smelling clean linens like I did here. The AC was loud, but VERY cold so I can't complain about that. The fellow at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The lodge itself is a great location, walkable distance to multiple restaurants and other shops.Maybe our experience is post renovations, and if that's the case the negative reviews maybe have a little more validity. There were no signs of construction while we were there so I assume renovations have been completed and this is a very lovely establishment now.

Great value hotel near Zion national park, rooms are pretty bare bone without the flashiest amenities, but the hotel is in a great location with many places to eat within walking distance. Overall, the rooms were clean and offered a good place to rest your head at night.Would like to give a shout out to Travis who worked at the front desk. Travis was a great resource for navigating the ins and outs of Zion and also made really convenient paper bag breakfasts to take on the road. His service went above and beyond.I would 100% stay at this hotel again.

An older motel, but recent remodel. Very clean, comfortable new mattress and bedding. Very good for the price. Only draw back was the breakfast was in a bag. Definitely stay again.Rooms: Recent remodel. Clean. Comfortable mattresses. Refrigerator and microwaveNearby activities: Short walk to entrance to Zion National ParkWalkability: Restaurants and shops all close by.

Exceeded expectations. Clean, tidy room with everything you’d need for a home base for your Zion adventure. Newer microwave and refrigerator. Arrived late, but called ahead and was able to check in with no issues. Location is ideal - close to park entrance, walking distance to grocery store, many shops/restaurants, outfitters, etc.

Sad and disappointed that I have to change my review. Originally it was good till a few days later, checking my bank statement to see I was charged an additional fee.Housekeeping came into our room! Then lied and said we had 3 dogs to the manager and we were charged an additional fee. I called, politely to say we were over charged and yet nothing was done.

Super nice place to stay if you go to Zion park. Rooms are specious and clean. Feels like a cabin. Stuff is very friendly. Guests are all together like in comuna. Only downside is that hot tub was cold and they turn it on seasonally. Unfortunately was not mentioned on the website where I book hotel. Tbh I am not sure if I would use it. But it’s useful information to share.Rooms: Clean and speciousNearby activities: Zion is on walkable distanceSafety: Place look pretty safeWalkability: Everything is walkableFood & drinks: There is Chinese restaurant in the complex, but next to it is plenty of places to eat

My wife and I were looking for a hotel on short notice for a quick trip to Zion to hike Angel’s Landing. We booked this the same day we were looking to stay. When we arrived around 8:30 pm, the lobby was locked even though the sign on the door said it would be open until 9 pm. We called the number on the door and a key was brought out from one of the rooms within 10 minutes. The room had a the standard, bed, bathroom and mini fridge. The bed wasn’t super comfortable and the pillows were the typical down pillow found in most hotels.I drive a Tacoma and the spaces were exactly the size of my truck. This meant any spot I parked in with someone in the adjoining spot would lead to neither of us being able to open our doors. They were also renovating during the time we were there which lead to the loss of several parking spaces. Also, the cockroaches were gross. We only saw two, that’s two more than I’ve seen at other places.Overall, not worth the price. We spent $180 for the night, and it felt like we were staying in a cheap motel.Noteworthy details: Cockroaches, dirty, small parking lot

Worst hotel I’ve had in over a decade. Awful service, beds, breakfast, parking and A/C.Had to change rooms and second wasn’t much better. Windows don’t lock rooms aren’t safe. Half the parking was reserved for construction with fence post driven into the middle of the parking lot. Location is great. Tiny air unit could be put below 70 but it never got below 75 unless you opened the window. Breakfast was a frozen burrito and banana .STAY AWAY! I would rate negative if I could.

The only plus here is location and comfy beds. Other than that, a complete disappointment for the lofty price of $200 per night. Our free breakfast was a grab and go which makes no sense after covid. There was no coffee in the lobby and the staff seemed like they were always on a fifteen minute break. The shower faucet had only one setting giving off an asymmetric, thin stream. I could hear the neighbor's conversations since the walls were paper thin. The room was tiny. The narrow parking was a nightmare, which made it tricky getting in and out. I almost tripped on the uneven floor of the stairs meeting the first to second floor.

Worst night's sleep of our entire trip, the A/C wouldn't kick in after the first round and we got too hot, had to restart it throughout the night and it was loud. The place is under renovation and the pool is apparently under maintenance, with no chlorine smell at all (so I'm not sure how sanitary it is). Restaurant is under repair after a fire so they are at least providing a cold sack breakfast - yogurt, apple, granola, breakfast burrito (spicy, processed). Would recommend spending a bit more for better accomodations.

Rooms were fine and clean. The parking lot is atrocious, worst I've ever been in. Maybe enough room to turn a small compact car around in. The TV didn't work and when we asked to have it fixed they said to just let it be and it should work. It didn't and was never fixed. It's close to cool stuff outside so luckily you won't have to spend a ton of time in the room. Anyone that says it's the best place in springdale is wrong. Views are good. But they are everywhere in town

I wouldn’t stay here again even if they paid me to. After a long flight, we drove from Vegas and got stuck in traffic for an hour due to bad weather. Arrived to hotel at 9:20pm local time. Coming from a different time zone it was 8:20pm on my watch. The lobby was closed at only 9pm. I rang the bell marked “late arrivals,” nobody answered. Called the hotel twice. Nobody answered my calls. Got lucky to find another hotel down the street which was still open, and turned it out to be much nicer for the same price. The next morning, I came to the reception desk to check in for the second day of our originally booked stay. I asked not to be charged for the previous night. The lady at the front desk told me she would pass a message along to the manager. We went to our room. Each parking space was just big enough to park a motorcycle, maybe a compact car at most. We drove a large SUV. Half of our building was burnt down and fenced off, without any signs of active rebuilding. When we entered the room, I attempted to close the curtains, only to find that they were fixed, leaving a third of the window open. Therefore, we had to sleep with streetlights beaming into our room and with zero privacy. When I went to take a shower, I found the bath towel had a hole about size of a quarter. When I opened the blanket, I spotted a silverfish crawling on the bed beside. The following morning at check out, I asked about the refund for that first night we didn’t get to stay there. The lady at the front desk told me that the manager would not issue a refund because it was a “no show”. For breakfast we were given a brown bag with a small breakfast burrito, which had to be heated in microwave, a small yogurt, and a small apple. I had to dump the brown bag and find a place with a decent food. By all means avoid this place!

UPDATE: Julia from the property took care of the issue by issuing a partial refund. This satisfied us from a financial perspective. Have patience, but be persistent, if you have issues. Make sure to take pictures/videos to prove the issue to the property. We stayed in #106. Not a good trip. On top on three roaches and an AC unit that didn't even cool the unit to the outside ambient temperature, a screw from the lot's dumpster punctured my tire (since all the parking spots are for compact cars or motorcycles, everyone has to double park... Naturally, the Lodge thought a dumpster was a good idea).I've called twice, emailed twice; no response from the owners and of course no one at the property knows anything about it. "I'll tell my manager". Manager tried to blame the contractor, as if the parking arrangement was between me and the handyman working across the lot.I had to drive to Hurricane, wait at three hours for the repair, lose nearly an entire day of vacation - plus pay for the repair.Attached is an image of the screw in our tire, which you can see is consistent with the debris around the dumpster. Not knowing this would happen, but knew it was a possibility, I snapped a pic the night before of my SUV attempting to park. As you can see, there is very little clearance between the parked car and the dumpster. There is debris everywhere and the dumpster is parked in a manner that makes this type of thing inevitable.Nearby activities: Zion Park

I would give this lodging 3.5 stars. We booked one night but when we arrived we planned to stay a second night. Fortunately for us they had space and we were easily to stay a second night. We were there December 27-29, 2022 and there were a lot of tourists in the area between Christmas and New Years. The location was super convenient to accessing Zion National Park, which is why we were there. Our room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. For some reason we were given the room which is meant for handicapped people. For that reason we had a large bathroom with zero clearance stepping into the shower, no tub, which did not bother us. The sink area was small, with very little counter space, we made it work. The towels were rough, and medium thickness but there were extras. There is a little sink and counter outside of the bathroom which was nice for filling up water bottles. Also a small fridge and microwave. We don't drink coffee but when we arrived the coffee pot was turned on with no water in it. It's good that we noticed and turned it off. Free Breakfast was a grab and go bag with a little pre packaged breakfast burrito that we heated up in our room and a lunch sized apple, mine had a bad spot. We never took advantage of the hot tub, if it was working. Another guest was looking for it, in the cold in her swimwear. We knew the pool was closed that time of year. The biggest problem and reason for 3 1/2 stars is the loud, noisy room heater. Since we were there in winter and it was unseasonably cold during that time, we wanted the heater running at least a little bit at night even though it made a racket. We put up with it because we slept hard after travel and hiking. When we came back the second day from another good day of hiking, cold and ready to relax, our room was clean and tidy but the heater would not turn on. We called the front desk, she told us to look for a portable heater in the wardrobe, no apology, it was like she knew what was going on. No portable heater was in the wardrobe. I called her back. She simply said, you can stay in that room or you can move across the parking lot. Well, we didn't want to be cold so we moved. Once again, no apology, nor did they offer to help us move. It's okay, we are healthy and capable, it just would have been courteous if she offered. The second room was just fine, we went from one queen bed to 2 queen beds. The bathroom was smaller but had a tub and there was more counter space outside of the bathroom where we got ready for bed. The bed and pillows in the second room was also comfortable. The room heater worked perfectly and was not nearly as noisy as the previous room. By the way, my husband fixed the curtains in both rooms which were not all the way connected to the top rod and were hanging oddly. It was to our benefit, it allowed less light in. When we were packed up and ready to leave I checked out and let the person at the front desk know we were checking out and that we would like to receive a small discount for the inconveniences we experienced. She said she would let her manager know. No apology. We've never received any discount for our inconveniences. We did enjoy Zion and were happy with the location. (FYI we ate at Porters, good food, good service. We also ate at Thai Sapa, which had wonderful soup which made me happy after a day of hiking in cold and snow. They were courteous and quick despite being super busy. I think they opened for the holiday break because business was good. Not all restaurants were open the last week of December in Springdale.). The one photo I've included is taken from the parking lot on the first morning of our stay. I'm sure the views are stunning, we had low clouds all morning. It looked like construction was going on in the building next to Zion Pioneer Lodge, we never saw workers but that doesn't mean they weren't there since we were gone.

We enjoyed everything about our stay expect the fact that we kept getting random wiffs of vomit. Also the bed and pillow were not comfortable, luckily our exhaustion from Zion NP allowed for decent nights of sleep. This place has great potential but cuts short on a couple things. Parking lot was well lit which seems to be uncommon for the area so that was nice for security purposes.

TLDR: I would not recommend a stay here. Overpriced, and there are plenty of other options in the Zion area.Full Story: My husband and I stayed one night in this motel after our car broke down at dusk in Zion National Park, and we needed to be towed somewhere within 5 miles. I had initially seen a great discounted rate on Google Maps, and was disappointed to learn that the motel does not price match (first time I've experienced this). That was just the beginning. We went ahead with the booking anyway, open to giving them a try. We were exhausted and just needed a place to rest as soon as possible. We saw cockroaches around the premises when we first got out of our car. Upon entering the room, we found another cockroach. Both the sink faucet and the bathtub/shower faucet were constantly leaking/dripping. I have very sensitive hearing, and despite our best efforts to drown out the sound with the fan and the bathroom door closed, I was still kept awake by the leaks. In addition, the curtains wouldn't close fully, and in order to block out the bright light directly outside of our window, my husband had to hang one of our tarps over the curtain rod!The next morning, our key card stopped working before checkout time and before we had checked out.Last, and worst of all, at checkout, after giving my information and complaints to the kind person at the front desk in an attempt to communicate with the manager, I received no follow-up whatsoever. I called again, twice, and was told the manager would return my call. I still haven't received a call from the manager, over a month later. This is incredibly disappointing. It's one thing to have a run down room filled with both minor and major inconveniences. A room change or refund could have been offered. A complete lack of care from management is another story altogether. I will remember this, and plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.I would not recommend a stay here. There are plenty of other options in the Zion area.

The location is wonderful and the views outside are incredible. Close to food, a public laundry and bike shop. Bamboo Chinese Restaurant is right here and the food is excellent. The room I am in is older but it is clean. The beds are comfortable and clean linens and plenty of towels. The toilet makes some slight noises when flushing. The curtains are coming off but they are still ok. The AC works great. Housekeepers come about 9:30 am to see if you need any service. They are hard working and nice. There is a gap at the bottom of my door and I put towels there to prevent bugs from coming in. I am just so happy to be here at Zion National Park that these room faults are not major for me. It is hot though. Go out early in the morning or just before sunset.

I stayed here for 2 nights. I started with 4 to 5 stars as this place has great value, rooms are cozy and spacious, and location and proximity are excellent. During the day I was hardly in my room, but in the evening into late nights it get very noisy. From the neighbors upstairs who have late nights with their jettubs to early morning housekeepers and guests who are leaving to start their day, I had to deduct a couple of stars. Also the wifi goes out daily. They do however still clean your room. Breakfast includes a to go bag which is basically a breakfast burrito, an apple and yogurt. All in all, ok stay. If you don't mind too much noise, they should be an OK stay for you.

This little motel doesn't look like much, but it was incredible. We showed up after dark so my husband had no idea what we were surrounded by, the entrance of Zion National Park. The motel was cheaper than most others and truly was very comfortable. The next morning we woke up, ready to head out and when we walked out it was like we were in a different world. GORGEOUS. Definitely worth a stay! Not to mention it is next door to the BEST Chinese restaurant and on a strip with tourist and specialty shops. I wish we could have spent more time here. We will for sure be going back!

We were car camping for a few days as we explored the area and decided we needed a bed for the night. We found this hotel right outside of Zion and decided to give it a try. We loved it! Great atmosphere, bed was comfortable, room was cozy, staff was friendly. Not sure if there was breakfast, we never asked. But we found a delicious coffee shop right up the road. Very convenient location to many shops and restaurants. We loved that this hotel was right by the park entrance. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area again.

Do not waste your trip with this place. There are so many issues that make staying here difficult. The parking lot is terrible. Seriously. This has set a new standard of how badly one can lay out a parking lot. The internet is unusable. The rooms somehow block mobile signals. There is no sound insolation. The room door does not fully seal. Our bed collapsed in the middle. The safe does not work. Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere.Rooms: Terrible quality.
