Had the best experience from check-in to check out. Such friendly and welcoming staff. They are a dog friendly lodge. Housekeeping would check on us daily to see if we needed anything. We stayed in the family suite on the first floor, which was very convenient for us as we also had our 2 pups with us. Everything you need from the shuttle stop, a supermarket, and souvenir shops to restaurants are all within walking distance. You also have a complete 360-degree view of the magnificent mountains. My family and i will be back again.

Nice stay. Excellent view of the canyon. Room was very comfortable. Easy to park and walk up stairs to. Lobby closes at 9pm was told except emergencies. Was told there was a place across the street open until 11pm if we needed anything. Very inexpensive and worth it! Only thing I could say against this place was the grab n go breakfast left a lot to be desired. But still worth staying.

Stayed for 2 nights in a king suite. Great location. The curtains in the living area were broken but we were able to hold them together with a trouser hanger. I'm surprised the housekeeping people didn't notice it.The kitchenette had a hotplate but you couldn't determine the heat setting. The coffee maker and bathroom could use a deep cleaning. They didn't provide daily housekeeping service but having a larger trash can in the kitchen was helpful. The upstairs guest had several small kids (or Santa and his 8 tiny reindeer) and they were quite active. They may have been rearranging the furniture. The phone in the room is just for decoration as it did not work. The king bed was comfortable enough but the pillows need replacing.Grab and go breakfast was in a sack and contained an apple, blueberry muffin, bagel with cream cheese and a yogurt.A little pricey but pretty much everything in Springdale is too. The staff is very hands off so if you don't need much attention, this property is for you.Walkability: Close to many things. We brought our bikes and biked pretty much everywhere.

Nice enough looking lodge but can't give it any more than 3-3 1/2 stars. Several issues: We had a lower floor room and the noise from the other rooms was unbearable. Walls are way to thin to get any sleep. The front door was difficult to lock, actually was missing a part inside, and you couldn't close the bathroom door without a shove on the door. Soap in the shower was clearly missing, ripped right of the wall next to the shampoo and conditioner. Our view was a support post. We left a day early as we could not endure it any longer. Bad choice, won't be back.

Jul 24, 2022 - Jul 26, 2022 The first night of our stay at Zion Canyon Lodge, we woke up at 1am entirely covered in bedbugs. A massive infestation. The room was invested with nymphs and adults bedbugs. Revolting. We immediately called the number provided. No one picked up. We left a message. No one called back. We went to the lobby; no one was there. So having no recourse, we were obliged to leave. We drove around town. Our only option was to book a last minute room, full rate of course, at the Best Western, the only hotel with someone in the lobby at 2am.We paid a much higher rate then we were had booked at Zion Canyon Lodge:  $652.71 for two nights vs our Expedia reservation at Zion Canyon Lodge for  $375.23. We asked to be reimbursed the difference but Zion Canyon Lodge only reimbursed us for their infested room,  refusing to compensate us for the expenses incurred at the Best Western. Needless to say we were exhausted the bext day ; ruining our hike for the following day in Zion National Park that we had planned over a year before.

The shower was non functional and alerted the front staff person who said a plumber would come to address the situation. When we returned five hours later we were told, sorry, he’s not coming and told to jam our fingers up the tub spigot to fix the problem. The shower was still completely inadequate and no compensation was made as we were told there were no other available rooms. So, pretty much no working shower for the two days we booked. Can I also add I informed the staff I had a service dog and then as a charged a pet fee, which fyi is against ADA unless the dog damages the property which she of course did not. I was charged the full two nights fee and a PET fee. No worries…my credit card company can deal with the aftermath. But you should know going in, they are not accommodating or willing to compensate for anything they deem not their fault. As a follow up to the owner’s response…we were indeed told to jam our fingers up the spigot to get the shower to work minimally. And my credit card was charged for a pet cleaning fee. Perhaps the management should be truthful in their responses?

We stayed in the Zion Canyon Lodge for two nights in late October 2023 is a good experience. The location is outstanding although being a small town everything is close to everything. It’s proximity to Zion National park and to and the free bus that takes you to the park is amazing. The staff were wonderful and check in and check out were a breeze. They were very helpful in finding restaurants and providing information on things like the free shuttle and different hikes in Zion national park. The only minus was that the rooms weren’t attended to between our two nights stay. The views from the rooms and all around the property are absolutely breathtaking. I can’t say enough about that. The cost for this area was quite reasonable. The beds were very comfortable, although the pillows were somewhat lacking. The building must be wood frame because we heard every little noise from upstairs, but that sort of thing doesn’t particularly bother us.Overall, I would highly recommend staying here

Best bang for your buck. Everything is priced outrageous. This is really all you need, the location is prime for Zion. You’re right across the street from the supermarket, and a block away from Oscars (best place in town to eat) and also a block away from the shuttle stop to Zion. Location 10/10Yes it wasn’t perfect, a few things in the room like the light switch and fridge didn’t work great. The pillows could be better and we could hear the person above us walking, but again, none of this was to the level of us regretting our stay.Overall, for the cost , I would absolutely recommend it.

Great hotel - fair priced for the area, close to restaurants and a store. Walking distance to two different bus stops to get into the park. 100% would use this hotel again! We stayed in 5 different hotels in our Utah adventure and this was either #1 or #2. Friendly staff, take away breakfast, and overall quiet! Great beds, spacious rooms and felt refreshed recently.Walkability: Easy to get to restaurants, National Park bus and a small grocery store in a 5 minutes or less

I spent $450 to stay at this hotel for 2 nights, which might’ve been worth it if I could’ve showered once. The shower did not work at all and not one employee could assist us in any way. This was a large inconvenience, especially after hiking and sweating each day, though no refund of any kind was given. Additionally I was charged a $50 fee for having my service animal. Keep in mind you are permitted to have pets there you just must pay the fee. However, neither a deposit nor sub charge is legal to impose on an individual with a disability requiring a service animal. They refused to reimburse me for the fee put upon my service animal and will not respond to my calls/messages regarding the matter. I would by glad to update my review if any of these issue could be resolved.

Really terrible experience. The room was dirty upon checkin, they charged us a $50 cleaning fee BEFORE even checking into the room and still refuse to refund it. The faucet was broken so we were unable to shower for the whole 3 day stay and they haven’t offered any type of reimbursement, nor did they let us checkout a day early for a partial refund.

Unfortunately had a terrible experience here. Checked in to a dirty room with people’s belongings left in there. Our shower didn’t work at all and when we asked the front desk about it, they promised it would be fixed by the time we got back that evening. When we got back, we still did not have a working shower and they said that nobody will be coming to fix it. (Also the phone in the room didn’t work and wasn’t even connected to the wall.) They wouldn’t let us switch rooms, and said that we won’t be refunded our remaining stay if we decided to leave. Management has still refused to respond to the situation or even apologize considering we paid hundreds of dollars PER NIGHT to not be able to shower after hiking all weekend. Could have been resolved so easily, but instead stuck with a super frustrating outcome.Safety: Unsanitary room upon checkin with belongings left behind. Phone was inoperable, not connected to anything.

Superb customer service. I was able to check in after hours and everyone was extremely polite. My room was clean and well maintained, and directions to the room were much appreciated late at night.Walkability: On a Main Street, everything you need is within walking or biking distance.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the shuttle bus stop to Zion National Park. If you choose to go by car, the park is only a short drive away. The hotel offers a grab-and-go breakfast bag containing a bagel, cream cheese, yoghurt, a muffin and an apple, which you can get the night before so that you can depart early for the park. Front desk staff are friendly. Our stay was not unpleasant. For four people with their own suitcase, the size of the room was tight albeit manageable. However, there were some deficiencies in the room, namely the cleanliness of it, that impacted our comfort. There was a visible layer of dust on some surfaces, and the shower wall had gunk on it that could’ve been someone else’s biological matter. The largest shortcoming was the housekeeping. When we returned at around 16:00-17:00, our room still hadn’t been tidied. We went to the front desk to ask for fresh towels and were informed that housekeeping still hadn’t gotten round to all the rooms. We told them to skip us, since we were leaving the next day, but this would’ve been inconvenient had we stayed longer.Additionally, the overall build of the room seemed somewhat economical. The bathroom door did not properly fit into the doorframe; we had to push and pull with force to open and close it. There was also a slight problem with the bedside electrical socket wiring, which would cause the room lights to flicker every time you plugged something in. Our chargers didn’t even stay put and hung loosely, so we couldn’t use the socket.Overall, the room needs to be cleaned better between guests and housekeeping should be more efficient.

I had a great 2 nights resting here during my Zion National park visit! Very clean, updated and modern rooms! I enjoyed the hotel because:a. It was close to many of the restaurants and shopsb. 45 minute drive to the east entrance of Zion national parkc. The blankets are the softest and comfiest I have ever experienced.. 10/10.d. Communal Breakfast area was closed at the time of my visit (July 2023), but they still gave a simple bagged breakfast each morning of a bagel yogurt and apple.

Enjoyed a lovely two night stay here. The staff is was very friendly and helpful. We loved the hikers bagged breakfast. Perfect on the go breakfast for hikers. The deer outback each morning was the best way start to the day and our view of Watchman was stunning. Our room was very clean, updated and had the creature comforts we needed. Beds were super comfy! Centrally located in Springdale to all the shops and restaurants. We will be back! Thank you.

Older hotel that has been refurbished so rooms are clean and nice. The sink is outside of the bathroom which my wife hates but other than that the room was comfortable. They give breakfast in a bag with poor quality items so most of it goes to trash. I wish they would instead keep fresh items behind front desk and give you what you like while limiting the number of items. People spending 300-400$ per room don’t want to eat gas station muffins and bagels and moldy apples.

Our room was fine, except the faucet was completely unattached from the sink, rotating 360 degrees.Really?!A free breakfast was advertised as a nice amenity, but nothing was served until 7:30.Needless to say we were already in Zion Park, which opens at 7:00. I have never stayed in a hotel where breakfast is served at 7:30, 6:00 is standard breakfast time. Very disappointing.

Delayed check in due to cleaning miscommunication. Luckily we were not in a rush and are patient people. Other than that, the room is what was expected to a mid range hotel price for the area. Our room had a great view, was very clean and offered more than we expected.Nice remodeled or new room, plenty of storage and a nice bathroom / fridge / microwave area.Great value for what we were looking for. Breakfast bags were unexpected but a pleasant surprise and offer of value.

This is a 2 star resort and it delivered for a low cost option. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Amazing location. Breakfast was grab and go, had everything you needed to start your day. I would stay here again, can’t beat the price. Advice… buy groceries before getting to Zion, local shops rip you off and really prey on tourists, leveraging that there is nothing close.

Breakfast was bagged, bagel that was expired, yogurt and a smashed danish. There was an envelope that asked for tips. Our plan was to tip at the end of our stay. However we quickly noticed that after our first day the room was cleaned properly. Each day more was left undone. Until the last day there pillows were just thrown, trash not taken out and the room was basically left untouched. It was unfortunate because every other business was amazing which of course led to generous gratuity but what we experienced here was just awful. They should've provided a disclaimer no tip no service. Will not be staying here next year or recommending this to anyone. You've been warned.
