I was hesitant to schedule a canyoneeing adventure while in Zion, since I didn’t want to deal with crowds or have a “touristy” experience (even though I realize that I am, in fact, a tourist!). Even the morning of the tour, I was not super excited about going, but decided I was just going to endure…Am I ever glad I did!! We (my husband and I) had the privilege of having Adam as our guide, and he made the trip so amazing and memorable! He teed everything up for us, but still allowed us the autonomy to feel the challenge, excitement, and FUN of the experience. His energy was great, and he immersed himself in the fun of the adventure as much as we did.

Got dry suits here for the narrows. The suits/socks/shoes were great and the service was even greater. Staff were flexible and understanding about changing our rental times due to weather/closures. Additionally, Chandler was really informational and kind about the hike and the weather. Would recommend !!!

I experienced the Narrows Canyon winter guided tour. Zion Tours took care of everything from all the gear; dry suits, dry bags for your backpack and walking pole. Our guide Whitney was fantastic! This is quite the adventure and having an expert guide can really make the difference for having the best time. I highly recommend working with Zion Tours.

Had an awesome first Canyoneering experience with Adam during our trip to Zion!! The excursion absolutely exceeded our expectations and set the bar for future family adventures. Adam helped us pick a route that was challenging but still manageable for our adventurous 5 and 7 year old, and they both left the trip asking when we get to go again. We went here to rent a dry suit for the narrows during winter. Cami (I hope that’s how you spell it) was wonderful to work with and even when we had issues using the gear because of road closures they worked with us to make sure we had a great experience. That’s how you do customer service right there. Great job Cami, and thanks for all of your help.

Adam and Jordan took us out for a half day canyoneering trip. The day was wonderful. We were are group of 5 with varied comfort/skill levels and both made all of us feel safe and comfortable. We hiked about 20 minutes up to the canyon, did a practice repel to get the basics, and then did 2 repels into the canyon. Both guides were nice, professional and had lots of knowledge about climbing and hiking in the Zion area. I would highly recommend this excursion!

We went canyoneering up on Lamb Knoll for a half day adventure! Adam was our guide and he was fabulous! He asked us what we wanted and what we were comfortable with and gave us options for the day. We were fortunate enough to hit three canyons and do 4 rappels ranging from 55’ to 100’. We couldn’t recommend Adam enough! He was professional and fun. Such a great day!Thank you ZA and Adam for a fabulous day!

I highly recommend doing a guided tour if this is your first visit to Zion. Starting your journey at ZAC ensures that you are equipped with the proper gear before you brave The Narrows. Whit, Bailey, and Jess were so fun to explore with. Whit and Bailey were our guides on the actual hike and they were knowledgeable, professional, and respectful of our group’s pace and skill level. An experience of a lifetime!!!

Extra stars possible? Put plainly and simply, Whitney and Danny gave us the highlight of our Zion trip. Not only did they go beyond in providing us with instructions and safety measures, but they were fun, energetic, and interesting to talk to. This made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. Rest assured, these are experts for some of the most unique and remote canyons accessible in Zion. You will be in great hands whether you are rappelling down the canyons, swimming through freezing water or climbing up to canyon walls.They of course also gave us their best food recommendations in Springdale (very nice!) and even dropped us off at camp after the canyon.See you again soon!

Today was amazing! My husband and I went on the Cliffs and Canyons tour with our 16 year old son. We adults are not in the best shape, are afraid of heights and aren’t super coordinated— but our son really wanted to do this tour so we did it. It was challenging but incredibly enjoyable! Our tour guide Kyle was fantastic! He took excellent care of us, taught us some cool geological info and was super kind and patient. We hiked to some amazing views and down into a canyon.We went out of our comfort zones a little bit but Kyle did not push us to do anything we didn’t want to do and he always made sure we were safe. Our son, who is not afraid and in much better shape, was able to do more adventurous activities like repelling down a canyon. He had the time of his life!! We were able to enjoy Zion without the lines and crowds. I HIGHLY recommend this tour - especially if you’re less experienced in the outdoors but want to experience it. This is a beginners tour - but it’s not easy.I can’t recommend Kyle enough! He facilitated an amazing experience! He had great suggestions for other lesser known hikes and activities as well as restaurants locals frequent and love. Thank you Kyle!

We visited in early June as part of a big Utah parks trip. Initially we were planning to use a Zion Adventure guide to help with the Narrows hike since our kids were coming. Unfortunately, the Narrows wasn't open yet so instead we chose to do a full day climbing/rappelling trip - It was FANTASTIC and honestly probably ended up being even better. Adam was our tour guide and was absolutely phenomenal, especially with the kids. Incredibly patient and involved them in literally learning the ropes. By the end of the day, they were talking like experts :-) Our youngest said that was his favorite day of the whole trip and says he "wants to be a guide like Adam" when he grows up.

We did a family adventure canyoneering half day with our family of four (two daughters aged 10 and 7). Our guide was Adam. Adam was a great guide, had super fun energy for our family, told us interesting stories on our drives to and from the site. Adam was super positive offering genuine excitement as we navigated the adventure. Our youngest definitely had some trepidations on the first rappel, but he offered support and solutions that worked for our family and gave her enough experience and confidence to do the second rappel on her own! It was a wonderful way to spend the morning and I would do it again in a heart beat!

Kyle and Whit were the perfect guides for our first time canyoneering. It was like heading out on an adventure with a couple of our friends. Felt totally comfortable with them and never felt unsafe even though we were willingly walking down the side of a mountain.

What a great day in Zion! My brother and I rented e-bikes for the day. We hadn’t done e-bikes before and we are 55 and 59 and we are not small people. The bikes are comfortable and easy to use. There are 3 levels of power to assist and 7 manual gears. Chandler helped us get all set up, answered our questions and was very helpful. It was a breeze to bike the Pa’Rus trail up to where only the shuttles go up the canyon and we biked up the shuttle road up to the top. We stopped several places to hike and explore. It was a wonderful day thanks to Zion Adventures.

Did the ‘Eye of the Needle’ canyoneering tour and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life! Our guides Tyler & Adam were extremely experienced, patient and kept the stoke high all day long. 10/10 would highly recommend to those looking for an off the beaten path Zion experience!

My wife and I did the guided e-bike tour in Zion with some friends. Bikes are in great shape and they make the trek to the top a breeze. The scenery is amazing - especially when you can take it all in from a bike. But our guide Adam really brought the trip to another level. He is personable, knowledgeable and funny. He made several stops along the way to show us notable landmarks, share history, spot animals and he even spotted some climbers on a rock face (looked like specs to the naked eye, but we had binoculars - bring yours if you go!). We would have missed out on a lot without him!!

Our family had the most amazing afternoon rock climbing with our guide Adam. Adam was safety first, a great teacher and fun to hang out with. Our two kids really enjoyed both climbing and rappelling with the help of Adam’s guidance and expertise.

Hands down one of the highlight of the trip. We recently went canyoneering while in zion national park. I cannot say enough good and would recommend Zion Adventures to anyone. The staff is super friendly and super helpful. It's starts with a phone call. Sicily was super helpful and so kind to ensure I planned everything right. Before booking I ran ideas past her, what I was thinking and she was a big asset to the perfect trip. We ended up booking a day of bikes and another day did canyoneering. Adam was assigned as our guide and we had a blast and a great fit for our group. He made sure we were all safe while pushing the limits to have fun. He explained the options for the day to ensure we had the most fun. Adam was super knowledgeable and made sure we packed in the most for our trip. From repelling to climbing and taking lots of photos, it was so memorable.Anyone looking to go to zion must check out zion adventures. They will make sure your trip is complete and you see everything you want to. Sometimes it pays to have a guide!! Worth every penny!!!

Great place to rent gear for hiking The Narrows in Zion. I got the $29 package of water boots, neoprene socks and a wooden stick. I could not have gone half as far up the river without that rental equipment. The boots provide foot and ankle support while the socks keep your feet warm. The wooden stick helps you keep your balance while walking thru the shallow rapids in the rocky Virgin River that runs thru The Narrows. The sturdy wooden stick is better than a metal hiking stick, which can bend when it gets caught between the river rocks.The sales team was easy going and patient and provided a lot of info about this challenging hike.The Zion Adventures shop is centrally located in Springdale, a 10-minute walk to the park. You can rent your stuff the evening before your hike to ensure an early start and it's not due till 8 PM the next day.

Worth every penny! We originally wanted to do the guided tour, but that tour was booked the day we planned to visit Zion. The rep explained that we could rent the gear and ride the shuttle in to hike the Narrows on our own. We were reluctant at first, but I’m delighted we made the decision to go for it. I wish we’d visited the store the night before to give ourselves a bit more time for the orientation, but the guide who helped us was AWESOME. She gave us a quick but thorough explanation of the gear, and took the time needed to ensure we were all well fitted and comfortable. The shoes and suits were perfect and made for a safe and fun filled family adventure. DONT HESITATE —- RENT THE GEAR FROM Zion Adventures and get out there! This is a must do hike and experience if you are planning to visit Zion!

We went on the Overland 4x4 Sunset Tour with Kevin. Everything about it was wonderful! Kevin was fun, knowledgeable and so accommodating. We had 3 children with us and they really enjoyed it as well! The views of the sunset were phenomenal! An experience we will never forget!

Hiking the narrows is a bucketlist hike for all adventure lovers, but the best way to enjoy this hike is to come prepared for it. We went to Zion Adventures to rent gear and the staff was very helpful and share so much about the hike with us! We went in October, and knew we were going to start the hike before the sun comes up so we rented waterproof socks and shoes. My husband also got waterproof pants because he isn't fond of cold water, I found them just a little too tight on the ankles and dedicated just to wear my own pants. We also got walking sticks which is something we highly recommend because the hike is in the water and there are many many slippery rocks, we heard of people who slipped and got injured, that is no fun.

What a great experience. We booked the High Adventure Day Canyoneering trip, our guides were Jess and Aimee. They were such a great team and made us feel very safe and comfortable. We had a great time learning about canyoneering, the park, and their experiences as guides! Definitely a great opportunity to challenge yourself a little and have a great time hiking and rappelling. Hike in is slightly strenuous, bring snacks and water that are easy to access because if you want to experience the whole Water Canyon there is not a lot of time for breaks. Unless you are in great shape do not plan on an ultra strenuous hike the next day. That being said my wife was 23 weeks pregnant when we went and she just got a little gassed on the hike in, so it can be tough but very doable. We can’t wait to do it again!

I had the great fortune and pleasure to have Eric as a driver out to lava pass. From the stories he shared on the way out, to the quick text after a bad late/overnight dust storm on the trail to check in, the experience was the best I’ve had with an outfitter. It was clear he loved Zion, and his knowledge of the park and surrounding area left no questions unanswered. The trip was amazing, but starting it off with an amazing driver like Eric set the tone for the rest of the trip. Thanks for everything!

We rented boots and walking sticks at Zion Adventures before hiking the Narrows, and it was a great experience! The people there were friendly and helpful, and the boots and neoprene socks kept our feet warm and comfortable even when hiking in waist-deep water. Definitely check out Zion Adventures if you need any gear!

We did rock climbing and canyoneering. In our mid to late forties, we weren’t sure, but it worked out so well. We loved our adventure! Our guide Tyler was super knowledgeable and gave us lots of choices - it made it feel like we crafted our own unique trip. We were with our 11 year old and Tyler was very attentive and included him in all the decisions. I highly recommend this very professional company!

My husband and I had a great time on our half day canyoneering trip with Miles. We felt safe the entire time, and Miles did a great job checking in to make sure we were comfortable. The site we visited was beautiful and it was a unique way to experience the Zion area. Would highly recommend!We also rented pants, shoes, and walking sticks to do the narrows in 55 degree water. The gear kept us nice and warm. Staff was helpful, flexible, and provided much needed tips on the trail. Would rent from then again in a heart beat.
